    Good Value for Effective Purple Hair Mask

    This hair mask works really well for keeping blonde, silver, or highlighted hair looking fresh while also leaving it soft and conditioned. The purple tone helps reduce brassiness, and the conditioning treatment makes hair feel much smoother after use. It smells decent enough. It has a rich texture that spreads easily through the hair, and a little goes a long way. It leaves hair feeling moisturized without weighing it down, which is nice for color-treated hair that can get dry. The large size is also a great value, and it feels like a salon-style treatment at home. Overall, it’s a really nice purple mask that helps with tone while making hair feel healthier and softer.

    We got the results we wanted, so we are happy!

    I ordered this to use on my neighbor’s hair. She is in her 80s and has her hair dyed blonde. She has been complaining to me that it looks brassy, and telling me that she needs to use a special shampoo instead of whatever she’s using. But she can’t do it herself because it’s purple colored and you have to wear gloves etc. Since she watches my house when I go out of town, I told her I would wash her hair with the purple stuff, and wear the rubber gloves myself. I have now washed her hair in this four times. She is delighted with the results. She says her hair feels softer and more shiny than it was. I personally am just delighted that it is not irritating her skin or causing an allergic reaction. I honestly can’t tell the difference in the way her hair looks but if she thinks she can tell the difference that’s good enough for me. It does have a kind of thick, creamy quality so it may be moisturizing her hair in a light way. In any case she’s very happy with it and I don’t know what more I could ask.

    Brass tones be gone

    Refreshing and fun way to keep blonde hair nice and blonde, while also repairing it and making it shine and look healthier.Bleaching your hair can certainly take a toll on your hair, but this is here to help put some of the goodness back in and make it fresher and feel healthy and bouncy.Its not overly sticky and gives good coverage. Once washed out, it has taken away the brass tone that can make blonde hair look dull and discolored.I’ve only even used purple shampoos before, but this will be a new go to to keep my hair looking in great shape.

    Soft, Evened Out Tones

    This hair mask was easy to apply. It doesn’t come with an applicator, you just use your hands like a regular conditioner. My daughter used it on her recently bleached hair to help even out the tone and it did seem to take some of the brassy tones out. It took a bit of effort to rinse this out but left her hair feeling soft, silky, and not greasy afterward. It had a scent that reminded me a bit of hair dye.Overall, we were happy with this.

    Works for brunettes too

    My go-to hair color is a light/medium ash brown with blonde highlights, but as the color fades, my hair takes on a brassier color. I’ve found that purple shampoos and conditioners, though targeted for lighter hair, also works great for me to tone down the brass just a notch. I have a hard time keeping anything on my hair longer than 3m, so I haven’t let it it work its full magic yet. I learned quickly that a little goes a long way. I put way too much on the first time and it weighed my hair down a bit more than usual. After I started using a smaller more appropriate amount, I started loving it. First, it smells like nostalgic childhood finger paint jars, and it feels just like finger paint each time I dip into the jar, which is quite satisfying. It is very vibrantly purple, but I don’t use gloves, I just use it when I’m in the shower and it easily washes off my hands. My feels soooo soft and smooth – I typically air dry my hair and there was no extra dry time. My hair feels soft and conditioned, and it looks a tad less brassy each time I use it.

    This purple hair mask does a good job of minimizing brassiness while also conditioning hair. A little goes a long way and it is best to start with a less is more approach until you find the right amount to use in combination with the right amount of application time. The product needs to stay on for 5-10 minutes with an additive effect so there can be a too long of application time for the desired result. Start slowly and work your way up until you find the right balance. And then add in the frequency of how many times per week. It is a bit of trial and error depending on what color your hair is, and if it is processed or not. The product has a lovely conditioning effect and hair feels smoother and softer. I did not care for the fragrance used and also found it too strong. The container is large and this will last a decent amount of time. Overall a good product.
