    Styles good enough to look presentable

    This is a great little cost effective tool to style your hair when you are on the go. However, you have to keep your expectations reasonable. This electric wireless hair tool is less than 50 bucks. I think it does very well for what it is, but it will never be as good as a plug in electric hair straightener.To start out, My hair types is A2/A3 and is middle of the back long. Each strain is thin but grows as a whole thick. My hair is damaged from dye and heat. I would not recommend this for anyone that has hair above 2C. If I try to style a big chunk, my hair will not not glide smoothly through the bristles.This is great for those moments when you want chemical free frizz control or need to touch up a style. The battery lasts around 30 minutes. Even though it made my hair look better when it was frizzy and unstyled, it did not have enough juice to completely style my hair perfectly from ground 0. Once fully heated, to get my hair semi straight, I had to pass it through each section about 4-8 times and hold taunt. This little tool never fully got a section perfectly straight (the ends), but it was straight enough to be presentable.**Reason I took of a star*** The buttons are in a place that is easy to press them while I am trying to style my hair. I have found myself pressing the button on accident, turning it off, and not noticing until it has cooled down to the point where it is no longer working. Just keep an eye on it and it should be okay.Using the tool there is a learning curve. This tool isn’t the easiest to use, but it is one of the most convenient once you get the hang of it. Personally I think this is worth the money, especially if you travel a lot or have short hair.

    This cordless straightener brush is for me to use while traveling, and after trying it several times, I would say it works ok. It charges fast, which is helpful when I am getting ready in a hotel room and do not want to wait around. The downside is that it does not hold a charge as well as I hoped. I need to recharge it after each use, even when I am only doing a quick smoothing pass on my hair. For something meant to be portable, I expected a little more longevity from the battery.It has three heat settings, and the highest one is still only about half as hot as my corded straightener at home. Because of that, I can get my hair reasonably smooth, but not as polished as I prefer. It does help with frizz, and the ionic feature gives a bit of shine, but it does not replace the results I get from my regular straightener. The ceramic plate heats evenly, and the brush design makes it easy to glide through my hair without pulling. I also like that it has an anti‑scald feature and a 15-minute auto shut‑off, which makes it feel safe to use when I am traveling.The Type‑C charging is convenient, and the brush is lightweight and easy to pack.     Cordless Hair Straightener – Fails as a straightener but works as a touch up brush

    This cordless hair straightner was a great idea but unfortunately it fails to do what it’s supposed too. It works great as a hot comb to give one’s hair a softer, smoother look, take out some knots and to definitely calm down the frizz that comes with curly hair. But I have naturally curly hair and it definitely didn’t straighten it.I found that it also stayed really hot after turning it off if I used it on its highest setting of 199° celusis. Which to be honest, isn’t really all that hot for straightening one’s hair. Most straightners get way hotter than that. It did however, seem to take an unusually long time for it to completely cool off. But if put on the lowest (160°C) or middle (180°C) settings, it didn’t seem to stay that hot for that long after turning it off.The overall design is actually really nice. It’s both fairly compact and lightweight. I also really like the pink colour it comes in and the fact it does have a cover to keep the brush clean. The brush bristles themselves actually feel very nice when going through my shoulder length hair. It also has a clear digital LED display and is completely rechargeable via Usb-C. I’ve only charged it once and it does appear to hold it’s charge long enough for several usages.So as a quick touch up brush it would work just fine. But overall, the design unfortunately fails as a straightener, unless you have slightly wavy or mostly straight hair in the first place.
