Attack the Cracks!
This lotion “cracks” me up!Amazon shipped it in a bag, and it was rather beaten up by the time it arrived, but that is not the seller’s fault. I’m glad it arrived and was still usable. The pump was a little hard to get to open up.First off, very stylish black and white bottle. I love that it has the pump that’s sort of quarter sized – it makes it so much easier to dispense. This lotion is on the middle of the thickness scale – not too thin, not a heavy cream. It absorbs quickly and has a very pleasant smell – not too strong though and gender neutral. I don’t like flowery or heavily scented lotions. This is clean and just enough. When you apply it, you don’t need a ton of it. While it has an oil shimmer as you rub it in, I don’t find it to be greasy in any way. Here during the winter, I like to apply it then put on a sock and my slipper boots. Let the warmth help it all soak in.I really like that the ingredient list isn’t full of long chemical words. The box says manufactured in Pennsylvania (USA) and is women & veteran owned and a small business.I’m always on the hunt for great lotion/cream. This one “cracks” the mold. I would totally buy this again and would try their other products, too!

The Greyfeather Crack Attack boy lotion is a clever name and gives innuendos of maybe a certain part of the human anatomy at least for me it did and ok childish humor I found it funny. I like the compact shape of the bottle for one it sits more stable being wider and shorter as opposed to elongated bottles where you go to pump the lotion out and the tiny or small base you can have a normal bottle topple over.First I have to say that I could NOT for the first five minutes figure out how to get the darn nozzle to release and pop up. I twisted as what you normally would do and it just wouldn’t release. No tension in turning it period. I literally had to push down on it with my strength and THEN turn counter clockwise to finally get the nozzle to pop up. Just a note maybe to the company about something they might want to check into.The lotion itself is pretty runny, more so than I’d anticipated I guess. I’d expected it to be thick and well kind of a richer texture. Instead it’s a little more liquid consistancy. I can’t put my finger on the fragrance of it. Maybe just slightly or barely minty? In any case it’s not heavily fragrance as well as when I initially do smell it upon dispensing some the fragrance dissipates quickly. So you don’t have to be overly concerned about it carrying over for a long time on your skin, especially a plus there for us guys as well we don’t necessarily get into smelling like a botanical garden or something from a bath and body store women frequent right.It goes on and absorbs extremely quickly even on dry skin I mean in terms of not being say right out of the shower where you’d expect a lotion to soak in quckly. When I apply some to my hands it takes only few minutes if that to absorb into my skin. My hands feel soft I can tell I have the lotion on but there is no greasy residue leftover. It’s what I want and like a lot about this lotion.Something interesting to note as well before I end my review. I had eczema on my back and I can’t help it I LOVE hot showers. My eczema isn’t severe but it does worsen or become more frequent during the winter months. The itching gets to be at times unbearable though. So the interesting part. I was experiencing that annoying itching and after stepping out of the shower decided after reading all the beneficial ingredients in the lotion why not give it a shot and just see what happens. If it doesn’t work no harm no foul right. Initially I didn’t notice after applying it that it was rapidly decreasing the amount of itching I was experiencing. Over the next hour I’d say though it had diminished to where I didn’t notice it anymore. In fact for reference I took my shower last night and applied a liberal amount. Right now it’s 8:00 the next evening and my back isn’t itching nor have I had any urge to scratch my skin since.So yeah I’m pretty impressed you could say with how well the GreyFeather lotion has worked at least for me. I think it hydrates great without leaving my skin feeling greasy or really needing to constantly apply it over and over again. As well as alleviating my itching caused by my eczema is a definitely welcome thing I hadn’t expected. Although I still have red areas which normally with use my cream takes care of, I can see using the lotion daily to maybe in the long run improve my skin’s condition to where I don’t need the over the counter cream. It’s too early to say but I’d be really happy if it works out that way.

Good stuff, but on the greasy side for sure.
Here’s the thing. I have a lot of skin creams. I prefer the ones that just seem to disappear after rubbing them in. But the intellectual side of my brain seems to know that it’s the greasier products that actually work. There really is no “absorbing into your skin”. Our skin doesn’t work like that. For the product to work, it really needs to sit on the surface. Crack Attacks seems to do that, but it comes with the trade off of not being able to immediately use your phone. I find that I need to squeeze a paper towel for a minute or so after using it, so that I can go about my business. My fingers do crack in the winter though, so I’m happy to have some relief.

You Can Use It On Your Whole Body
This review is for the Greyfeather Crack Attack Hand Repair Cream, Lotion, Emu Oil and Hyaluronic Acid Serum For Face (Crack Attack Lotion).This is a nice lotion that you can use anywhere on. your body. It isn’t just for the face. It has a nice dispenser, and you receive quite a lot of lotion for the money. It isn’t very heavy and it goes on nicely. It was a little greasy for me, but I like lotions that rub in right away. That being said, I would order it again because it worked well.

*Literally* my favorite lotion of all time. I’ve consistently switched lotion almost every time I need a new one throughout the years, I’ve never loved one enough to repurchase one over and over. This one – can’t live without. It doesn’t feel greasy on your skin yet is so hydrating, the scent is soft and not overpowering at all, kind of minty. It’s so good year round. Great price, especially in comparison to the price of a lot of popular brands right now. AND the owner is so wonderful. Love love love this company and product!

Heavily nutty.
I have to admit, I grabbed this first mostly for the name and second for the ingredients. Either way, I was planning to keep it in our guest bath for visitors to use and get a little bit of a giggle. This is a cute, little slick pump and the lotion is significantly thinner than I had originally expected. It absorbs into the skin nicely, but the scent isn’t completely for me. I think a significant amount of the fragrance is mostly due to the significant amount of nut butters included, as the lavender, aloe and rosehip seed oil are significantly lighter. Regardless of the scent, it’s rather nourishing and provides a great amount of moisture with the winter season well under way.
