    Extremely convenient

    I’m writing this in comparison to waxing or shavingPros:- not painful at all/no razor burn (if someone has reviewed that it’s painful, my guess is that they’re using is wrong)- can use it sitting on the couch watching TV instead of standing and bending in the shower- no ingrown hairs left behind- exfoliates the skin (I sit on a bath towel on my couch)- easy to use, just move it in small circular motions over the skin with light/medium pressureCons:- Not perfect, hard to get every single hair especially around ankles and kneesOverall I really like this product. I am a 29 year old woman that is on my feet all day for work (teacher) so it’s nice to be able to sit and do this instead of shave. Like I said it’s not perfect but the amount of hair that gets left behind only you yourself would notice. I have dark hair that has been thinned and reduced and grows slower due to getting a round of laser hair removal last year. Hope this helps! I definitely recommend this.

    Excellent product

    I don’t understand how this works, but works, this thing removes the hair but have a trick to be used, not easy but once you have practice works, also is for flat big areas like the legs, hard to use on the knees for example.

    This works OK, could be better, and doesn’t last

    Update about a year later:- After less than a year of use it is markedly less effective. Takes much longer and less hair is removed, even after going over the same spot a bunch of times there will still be hair. I don’t know if the abrasive surface has worn down or what, but it’s now not worth the time.- I bought a new one of these from a different brand that says “new generation comparatively rough” and it is WAY faster and more effective than this one was, even when this one was new. The new one takes literally ~1 minute per leg.- So, I have to downgrade the rating for this one based on not great longevity and having basically found a more effective product at the same price point—————————Original reviewI am shocked how well this works. I spent about 5 minutes gently brushing this in circles on a totally unshaved leg and the hair is now all gone.The surface of the device feels almost smooth to the touch and on the very first pass it doesn’t seem like it’s doing much, I can understand why people scrubbed too hard and caused abrasions. For good results with no damage, I really didn’t press at all, but kept gently going over the same area several times, and the hair just kind of disappeared. Not sure yet if it matters or not going with or against the direction of the hair growth.The only place it possibly caused a little irritation (not sure, other un-erased leg looks pretty similar) is on the inside of my knee where I tend to get razor bumps anyway.I have relatively thin leg hair but it tends to get ingrowns so I’m hoping this is a 2 for the price of 1 (shaving and exfoliation in one step). That will be worth it taking a bit longer than shaving to me.

    I know it’s tempting to buy this product seeing the overwhelmingly positive feedback. DON’T. It will leave your skin burning for days. It may even rash. This product is like fine sandpaper that works by ripping off your skin, thereby slicing away your hair in the process.I have been doing extensive aftercare, moisturizing and applying jojoba oil to my skin. I’m 20, don’t have dry skin, and my skin is dry.Do not fall for it like many others have. Get a safety razor with 1 blade instead.

    Great product

    This was a solid buy. I am of Indian descent and our people are hairy af. I shave my arms and legs and the key is to use in between shaves. As the hair is starting to sprout, go in gentle circles. This exfoliates the skin too and I got some mild redness. But it was gone in a day. My skin felt heaps smoother. I bruise easily and hate razor bumps. This worked for me.

    Cool product yet can be dangerous to your skin!

    It came with very little instructions. It also needs a noticeable warning ⚠️ on it. “DO NOT USE ON DRY SKIN!” “DO NOT USE UNDER WATER!” BOTH OF THESE OPTIONS WILL BURN YOUR SKIN!! Let me tell you IT’S PAINFUL!!!I used when I got it on a small spott on my legs. It came in after I had showered and I had just lotioned my legs. It worked GREAT! My daughter had tried on dry legs. At first it doesn’t feel like anything. So she did some large spots on her legs, demonstrating to her sisters and I. It does not burn at first until after about 30 minutes, or if you try to lotion after you rubbed on dry skin. Once the burn set in IT SETS IN!! IT STAYS BURNING FOR DAYS!!!! My poor daughter was in so much pain. I thought well don’t do this on dry skin, so I tried it in the shower the next day. Same result as if I did it on dry skin. The only way it did not burn, was when I tried it on my freshly lotioned skin. They need to make that clearer, or send a bottle of thick lotion. It needs to definitely be thick lotion though! It works if you use it right. I have not used it since, out of fear. Lol That burn is something else! SO LOTION UP BEFORE YOU USE IT!!!

    Did not work for me

    This product works on very fine hair and will thin thicker hair but is not a replacement for shaving. You must be super gentle when using is as is suggested but be careful not to go over one area too often or they will cause burning feeling. To effectively use for me (I have courser hair) my legs were left v red and irritated. This might work for some people but not everyone

    Not worth your money. Try shaving with a pumice stone

    I saw a lady on the product description page with the product held to her perfectly clean armpit and thought this might be the product for me! I got it today and was immediately disappointed. Let’s start with the directions shall we?Directions read “we do not recommend using the [product] on sensitive skin such as the face and underarms since it may cause irritants.” It also says “recommended use once every 2-3 weeks.”3 WEEKS?? Who is shaving that infrequently? And so much for the pretty lady with the clean armpit in the product photo. Well, I gave it a shot anyway. I decided to try, at my own risk, my chin, and armpits, and I also used the product as intended on my legs.I started with my chin, which I pluck regularly, so I thought the product had a good shot since I only had a few short hairs bugging me. It took more rubbing than I expected, even for those few hairs, and the warning in the directions was accurate; it left my chin feeling raw for a good while after. Still, it did remove the hairs so there’s that.Next is my armpits. I had missed shaving for over a week, so this was my test for longer hairs, which the product unfortunately failed. It got some of the hair off, but not enough to make a difference by the time my arms were too tired to keep holding them up. It left my armpits raw, which was too bad since I still had to shave them after (ow), and it was not the right shape to rub against my concave armpits. Not a good experience.Finally, the legs. This is what the product was made for, right? Well, it did okay. My hair wasn’t too long, so it seemed like the right length (falls right into that 2-3 week schedule it’s expecting). It took several minutes of scrubbing, much longer than I anticipated, but the skin didn’t get too painful and it got most of the hair off. But as you can see in my pictures, there are trails of stray hairs here and there, so not nice, clean shave. And, as mentioned in other reviews, it struggled around the ankles and left a nice ankle ring of hair that I couldn’t totally get rid of. Ultimately, I was left dripping sweat, puffing, and with a neck ache after bending over and scrubbing for so long, but I had (mostly) clean legs.So, as a regular shave alternative, I’d say it’s a bust. It only works for one of the three or four areas I’d like to shave, and even there not that well. I’ve seen people suggest it’s a quick and easy alternative for days when you don’t have time to shave since you use it dry so there’s no need to hop in the shower, but the energy expended was a lot more than for a regular shave, and you’re left covered in dead skin and hairs that you’ll still want to wash off after. Overall, I don’t recommend anyone buy this product. It’s a pain to use, not versatile at all, and just not worth your money. Maybe try giving up shaving instead, at least it’s less painful.
