As I age (mid-60s), my hair has become very dry. (Okay okay it’s also the decades of highlights…). Anyway, my hairdresser wants me to shampoo it only 1-2 times a week. By day 4 it’s looking a bit greasy. I’ve tried spray dry-shampoos but I dislike the texture and mess. To my surprise, I LOVE this dry shampoo brush!It’s VERY easy to apply only exactly where you need it (roots) – without it getting everywhere. It does NOT leave a residue. It DOES leave your hair soft and clean-looking. It comes pre-filled with a nice dry shampoo, and the lid locks on magnetically. It’s practically perfect in every way! Absolutely worth the price.

I would maybe pay 30. The powder that it comes filled with is extremely fine and has no scent. It’s perfectly adequate at being a dry shampoo. I love that I can easily refill it when I’ve used up all the powder. The brush and cover are thick plastic, good quality, and look premium. It’s comfortable to hold in my hand while using. The button that you press to release more powder has a very nice click to it. The cover attaches to the brush with very very strong magnets so no worrying that they’ll come separated in a bathroom drawer.The brush comes with a nice instruction booklet printed on very thick glossy cardstock and in a fancy box. So all of this contributes to this appearing to be a high-end premium product. But I still can’t justify paying more than 30 bucks for this. But maybe that’s just a “me” thing because I’m just not a fancy girly-girl and don’t ever spend crazy money on my appearance.

Great luxury dry shampoo brush, convenient and virtually mess-free
I am moving away from non-aerosol products and recently found a new amazing dry shampoo that I love. The brand I went with is pricier but has a refillable container. The downside is while the product smells amazing and works incredibly well, once you’ve opened up the sifter; powder is all over the inside of the container as well as the kabuki brush which is also stored inside.I saw this and thought it would be ideal for what I want. I love the dry shampoo I’m using but now because it’s in a jar, doesn’t make it ideal for travel in terms of being mess-free. This brush keeps the powder contained within it and has a button which dispenses the product with one press, it clicks and stays open so you are able to target specific areas and then use the brush to really work it into your roots, then press again to stop dispensing. I like that it doesn’t just dump out, but you have to give it a good shake initially. It’s virtually mess-free and great for packing inside a bag. The lid is magnetized and has a strong hold. It also came pre-loaded with their Airluxe dry shampoo, but I actually found it drying and made my hair white no matter how much I blended, so instead of trying to use the free sample I just went and loaded in my own.The downside I can see for a lot of people is how exorbitantly priced the brush is. Darcase presents itself as a luxury brand so the price point aligns with that. For me, with something that can be refilled and used over and over, I feel it ultimately pays for itself and is worth the initial cost for something that will last for many years. It definitely is a luxury item but it’s been beneficial to my routine in making it less of a task to use my powder and also minimizes waste of buying one time use only products.Overall, I am really happy with how easy it is to use my dry shampoo. The bristles have a combination of plastic bristles around the perimeter and dispersed in the middle along with softer bristles to really work the powder my hair without leaving white residue. It’s also nice as a regular brush as well to slick and tame my hair. The case itself feels substantial, hefty without actually being cumbersome or uncomfortable to hold, as well as sturdy and high quality. Where the brand name is presented is a silicone seal where you open and the powder can be filled into the brush.It’s pricey but the look of the brush is elegant and sleek. The design and function are well executed and feels substantial and high quality, this is something that will last for a long time. But where it truly gets its high rating is that it makes it extremely easy to do my hair routine without a mess. It’s easy to travel with and also works as a regular brush in a pinch if I’m on the go.

It’s like baby powder
I’m not sure what to make of this. It’s almost like baby powder. It’s almost better for hair control than as a “shampoo”. I’m not even sure if this keeps your hair / scalp clean. What I do know is that when I use it, my hair feels more full and thicker. It also feels like there is a hair control product in my hair.I’m planning on giving this to my mother in law since she needs some kind of dry cleansing products when her water is running low and she can’t take a regular shower.

This dry shampoo made my hair look clean and washed. You push the button and kind of shake it or tap it on your head to get it to come out. It combs thru and looks great, I have darker hair and it didn’t leave it looking pale at all. It has a refillable compartment with an opening at the top. It fits into the base with a magnet so it stays put inside. Sleek look and smooth feel in my hand, lightweight and easy to use.

Great product concept
The brush is an excellent idea. Have the dry shampoo evenly distributed without ruining your other brushes is great. It ergonomically fits well in your hand. It has a lid that is magnetic to cover the bristles when your done. It looks sleek and classy- kinda an iPhone look for a brush. You can refill, so I’ll have to find a non- spray dry shampoo to use for that purpose. I think it’s a great product, I’m just a little uncertain of the cost. However, I am not a beauty product connoisseur and don’t have the best judgement on what items in this realm cost.
