    This set comes with two full-size bottles — shampoo and conditioner — plus two smaller bottles of shampoo (no conditioner in the smaller size, which I thought was a little odd). The packaging is really nice — the bottles are sleek black and white with gold tops, and they look very elegant sitting in the shower.The pumps work perfectly and feel sturdy, not flimsy at all. At first, I thought I’d need two pumps to wash and condition my hair, but one pump actually gives me just the right amount. I have short hair, and one pump is plenty for both the shampoo and conditioner, so these bottles should last me a while.The shampoo bottle is white and the conditioner bottle is black, which makes it easy to tell them apart — a thoughtful design touch. Both the shampoo and conditioner come out white and creamy, which surprised me a little since I expected the shampoo to look more translucent or soapy. I actually double-checked to make sure I didn’t mix them up, but that’s just how they’re made.The shampoo is labeled Anti-Dandruff Floating Water Fluffy Oil Control Fragrance, and the conditioner says Floating Water Smoothing Repair. I don’t have dandruff or oily hair, and my hair is normally pretty balanced, but I did notice that these products leave my hair feeling a bit drier than usual. There’s no frizz, but it has that slightly dry texture to the touch.The fragrance is light and pleasant — not overpowering. Overall, I’m impressed with how nice the bottles look and how well the pumps work. They’re so pretty I might even keep them to refill later!If you have oily hair, these might be perfect for you. For normal or dry hair, they might feel a little drying, but still a great value and a beautiful set.

    Dear Irean Shampoo and Conditioner Set For Women with Love Gift Box, Fluffy Fragrance Hair Care Sets for Dry, Damage and All Hair Types with Oil-Control & Anti-Dandruff, Suitable for Gifts, 12.4 oz x2As a vine reviewer I get to use lot of new products and one of my favorite items to review are hair products. I have learned a few things along the way. There are three kinds of shampoo products in my experience: Run of the mill, Salon quality and then there is Luxury. This product falls 100% into the Luxury category!When I opened my package and saw the gorgeous pink heart shaped box, I thought my husband had sent me a surprise! It is so lovely! Inside there are two individually packaged full sized bottles of the product plus 4 sample sized bottles of products labelled as “Young folks”. I haven’t tried those so I am not sure if they are different or the same product.The shampoo and conditioner bottles look upscale and classy with better than average pumps, which are needed because these products are super thick! The scent is a lovely floral scent that is not cloying. After my hair is dried, it is shiny and at least twice as bouncy as with other products. Perhaps even a bit wavier than normal as well. I am absolutely enthralled with this set and will add it to my little wish list that I keep on hand for my hubby to select from when he wants to gift me.It doesn’t take much of either product, I expect this set will last me a good 6 months of three times a week hair washing. Also of note- I have baby fine hair that gets oily much faster than it should- this product lathers up luxuriously on the first try as if I didn’t have oily hair!

    Nice shampoo and conditioner gift set with strong floral fragrance

    I wasn’t familiar with Dear Irean, so I looked up the brand and learned that it describes itself as an “aromatherapy lifestyle brand” focused on high-end fragrance—which explains the emphasis on the luxe, long-lasting scent of the shampoo and conditioner in the Sakura Box Set. Given this emphasis, It’s strange that the product listing doesn’t describe the fragrance at all. I found it on the company’s website–“Floating Water” is described as a bright floral with notes of apple blossom, lemon, peach, rose, jasmine, and lily of the valley, with a vetiver, cedarwood, and amber base. If you have any fragrance sensitivity, this set is not for you. The scent is very strong and does linger like hair perfume, as claimed—I could still smell it in my hair on day three. While I usually enjoy fruity-floral scents with a woody or amber base, this one just wasn’t for me. I didn’t hate it, but I didn’t like it that much either.The shampoo is called “Fluffy Oil Control” and per the information in the box set, it’s a dandruff- and oil-controlling formula. The product listing also says that it’s sulfate free and safe for color-treated hair. I usually read the ingredient list to verify claims about the formula and specific ingredients, but most of the text on the bottles and boxes is in Chinese. There is an English insert, but it has the same ingredient list for both products and that list appears to be for the conditioner. (I’ve included pictures.) The shampoo lathered very easily and produced a lot of foam, but didn’t strip my hair of moisture. After using the shampoo (and conditioner together) several times over the course of two weeks, I didn’t notice any added volume or oil reduction, but I didn’t have any issues with unusually dry hair either. (Unfortunately, I can’t evaluate the shampoo’s effect on dandruff or color treated hair.)The “Smoothing Repair” conditioner is silicone-heavy and protein-rich, containing five silicones, five proteins, and a silicone–protein hybrid. Because my hair is long and fine, I was careful not to overapply and only left it on for a minute or two rather than the recommended 3–5 minutes. The conditioner has excellent slip, which made it easy to detangle my hair in the shower, and after rinsing my hair felt silky. It did a good job of smoothing and controlling frizz, and I think with consistent it will make damaged hair look healthier over time—especially if your hair responds well to protein.The Sakura Box Set is beautifully packaged. The pink gift box is elegant, and inside, each bottle comes in its own sealed box and both are wrapped in tissue paper. A travel size shampoo and conditioner are also included. Presentation-wise, it’s very impressive.Overall, this is a decent shampoo and conditioner set with a standout presentation, but I can’t recommend it for someone who requires a sulfate free and/or dandruff controlling shampoo (can’t verify the ingredients). The price is a little high and it has a very strong fragrance, but someone who loves strong floral scents and fragranced haircare may really enjoy this set
