    Smells good, feels nice, love the brush

    So the packaging of this isn’t pretty. It comes in a brown box I didn’t even know what it was until I opened it.However each balm has a nice smell and nice small packaging. It’s a thick product that you run with your hands to warm up. Feels nice.It has a nice moderate smell to it. My wife asked if I was with females. Not sure if she felt it smelt like perfume. I asked if she liked the smell. She agreed. Too strong gives me a headache this is nice. It’s not fully manly, but it can suit a man.Pricing is spot on. $20 for two of these plus a comb. Love it. Great product and great price.

    Nice Natural Beard Balm

    I ordered the “Morning Woodsy” scent beard balm. The order included two 2-oz plastic jars of the beard balm along with a wooden beard comb. The comb is pretty large — about 4.25 inches long and 2.12 tall at its deepest, curved to fit nicely in the hand, with “DERM DUDE TM” printed on one side and “TOUCHING YOURSELF JUST GOT BETTER. TM” on the other. I like that the balm is made with all natural ingredients. The jar lists the following: Shea Butter, Mango Butter, Coconut Oil, Beeswax, Grapeseed Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Olive Oil, Red Palm Oil, Castor Oil, Peppermint Essential Oil. I wouldn’t describe the scent as “woodsy” necessarily. I can smell the beeswax and a sweet combination of fragrances from the various oils. It’s not an unpleasant scent at all, but not what I was expecting with the name. It is solid at room temperature but pretty soft. It comes out of the jar easily with a finger and melts quickly in your hand. It’s pretty easy to spread throughout the beard and leaves a bit of a shine. Overall, this seems like a decent product, but I would love to have more woodsiness in the fragrance.

    Great quality products that make my husband’s beard look and smell fantastic

    I chose this set to gift to my husband whose beard has seen better days. This balm seems to condition and style his beard nicely so that his beard shape seems more sculpted and lays cleaner. In addition to smelling fantastic (so much that I like to get closer to him now that his beard smells so great), it seems to soften his hair so it doesn’t scratch my face as much when we smooch. Very nice. Smells manly in a clean, outdoorsy way.

    Works ok

    Im not sure if it’s just the ones I received but I got these and the balm felt rough? Like it felt like it had tiny pebbles in them and im not sure if that’s how it’s suppose to be. Anyway I used it on my thick beard and honestly didn’t do anything to keep it tame. There’s no scent so that’s a plus for me and washes off easily with water. Also appreciate the comb. Overall its just ok.

    Leave your whiskers feeling like a luxurious lumberjack

    The balm had a bit of a gritty texture to it, even after being “warmed up” by rubbing in the hands before application. It does apply to the beard smoothly and provides good moisturization as I saw a noticeable reduction in flaking at the roots. The scent is pleasant and certainly matches the “morning woodsy” branding, but I’m confused on where it comes from as there is no fragrance listed in the ingredient list. The only real aromatic that I can discern is peppermint essential oil, as all the others are neutral carriers. I was quite surprised to see mango butter in the ingredient list. It actually tends to work better on dry skin more than shea butter does, but it’s not often that I find it in beard care products. The comb has a good usable width to it. It also had a bit of wave in the teeth/tines, which helped provide a subtle layered effect when brushing through the beard.Given that you get two jars of balm and the comb, I would say that it is a pretty good value. The only real disparity that I noticed between the actual product and the listing is in the amount of product supplied in the jars compared to the listing pictures. I get it, it’s a marketing teams job to make it amazing and over the top to entice buyers, but all their pictures should at least match up.

    Smells great

    This is a very nice set that comes with a beard comb and 4 ounces of beard balm separated into two 2 ounce jars. The smell is wonderful… Clean and natural and light. Not overpowering at all. It just takes a little bitty bit and it softens the beard right up. Just get a little bit on your fingers, warm it up it up and emulsify between your palms and rub on. Comb through.

    Nice quality

    I got this for my husband. I like the quality of the consistency and ingredients that make this balm. I am not a big fan of the scent, it’s not that it’s a bad smell, it’s just loud and will drown out cologne. That said, it’s a great balm, very moisturizing and smooth, and not greasy. With two in the package, it’s a great value.
