Only works for short baby fine hairs…not thicker whiskers….
Nice features but doesn’t really cut like it should….I have been shaving my face for years. I have always had thick whiskery beard hairs and the top corners of my mouth have dark whisker hairs that shows. Now, I have a stress ulcer on my face that my sideburns can get stuck into when the wound is open making a mess in my hair. I wanted this so I didn’t have to use a razor anymore. I use scissors to cut my sideburns but then a razor to shave the stubble. The razor works pretty well but leaves burns on my face that if I don’t deal with as soon as I shave it, will make that area of my face welt up red, burn it and make it all puffy and it can take hours to disappear.This is made well with quality materials. It fits well in your hand and has a holder to place the shaver in. The shaver sits in the holder and the charger plugs into the holder. It does not take long at all to charge. You also receive a case full of additional blades. The motor is not quiet but not too noisy either. It shaves the light, fine hairs from your face pretty easily but not the whiskers. You may have to make several passes with the fine hairs but, you will need to make quite a few more for the whiskers. I have to repeat that area again and again to mange just a few hairs. It wont do my sideburns area at all unless I cut it as short as possible. I had to do each whiskers one at a time and seriously concentrate on each one until it finally reached skin level. Any hair that’s not baby fine, will have to be as short as possible to even have a chance. Hair like arm hair, you may be able to cut but, anything thicker, you might as well grab the razor which is what I ended up doing towards the end.It does cut, just not as well as it should. Only brand new, baby fine, light, short hairs. Anything a bit longer or thicker than that and you are out of luck so, for my needs, it’s pointless. Granted, I do not have to treat it right after cutting because I do not get razor burns after using this product but of course, I do get dry skin from the razor rubbing on my flesh. It also seems to take the top layer of dried skin with it.This is made well, comfortable to use and has extra blades included but, will only work for your fine, short baby hairs. If you have a handful of whiskers that need cutting as well, this is not the product to do it.

Great For Beginners
I’m completely new to dermaplaning, so I was looking for something that would be easy to use without feeling intimidating. This dermaplaning tool ended up being a great choice! The ergonomic design made it comfortable to hold, and I really appreciated being able to choose between the different speed settings as I got more comfortable. The built-in LED light was also a nice touch and made getting the job done easier since it made it so I could see all those little fine peach fuzz hairs.The tool did exactly what I hoped it would do. It removed facial hair and dead skin gently, leaving my skin feeling noticeably smoother and softer after just one use. I was impressed that it was effective without feeling harsh or causing irritation. The rechargeable battery is convenient, and I love that it comes with multiple replacement blades and exfoliating heads, so it feels like a great value for everything that’s included.Overall, I think this is an excellent dermaplaning tool, especially for beginners. It’s simple to use, effective, and comes with everything you need to get started. If you’ve been thinking about trying dermaplaning at home but have been a little hesitant, I would definitely recommend giving this one a try!

My skin is so smooth!
I am quite pleased with this item. I bought something similar a few years ago, but it was just for facial hair. This one has the added advantage of dermaplaning as well. It comes with extra heads as well. It has three speeds so you can adjust it to your own needs and comfort. It’s comfortable size to hold and use. I have found it easy to use and does a great job of making my skin feel super smooth. It’s a good price for the quality of the item. My only issue is that it’s a bit slow to charge, but I wouldn’t let that dissuade me from using it.

Easy to use, nimble and cordless; blade needs a cover for when not in use; not travel friendly
I had been performing my facial grooming routine with a basic dermaplaning wand from the drug store. It wasn’t an ideal setup, and cheek scrapes were common, so when I read the product information for this Jellystar Sonic Dermaplane tool, it sounded exactly like what I was looking for in an upgrade.The Jellystar dermaplaning tool made very quick work of all my grooming needs in about five minutes. I was pleased with how easy it was to slide off and change the blade head, especially since the new blade that came installed on the trimmer was damaged, with one of the tines bent (photo). I attempted to use it anyway, but the damaged blade was too sharp, so I had to use up one of the included seven extra blades. The spare blade attachments, plus two exfoliating heads, came well protected in a nice plastic storage case. If I had a suggestion for improvement, I would like to see some sort of protective cap in silicone or plastic to protect the blade head when it’s not being used.When using the blade to remove the peach fuzz on my cheeks, the trimmer didn’t pull or pinch hair in any of the three areas I used it. I don’t love that the peach fuzz trimmings just fall everywhere, but I’m not sure what could have been done to improve that part. I especially love that there isn’t an electrical cord hanging down which makes this lightweight and ergonomic trimmer very nimble and easy to direct around delicate eyebrows or cheeks. The LED light was especially appreciated because it illuminated a rogue hair under my chin that has previously escaped detection with the previous plain wand.I was grateful for the non-slip coated texture of the barrel of the wand, as it helped provide a secure grip as I was moving the trimmer across facial areas. The on/off switch is smooth and easy to use, and the switch didn’t seem to be in an awkward spot to cause me to inadvertently turn it off by mistake. The three dot charging level indicators are bright and easy to see (video). Note: the trimmer is rechargeable and therefore not allowed in checked baggage online. If I decided I needed to take it along in my carry-on bag for one of my longer trips away, I’d need to figure out an option to cover up that exposed blade, so I’ll say the trimmer is not very travel friendly as is.I didn’t have any problems with the easy, straightforward operation of the trimmer which is a good thing because the size of the font was especially tiny on the instruction manual for this trimmer (says the gray haired user!). I thought this was a nice value and a good choice for me.

Really gets my face smooth
This sonic dermaplane razor works very well to remove fine hairs and peach fuzz, and as an exfoliator. The tool comes with 8 blades, one on the machine and 7 replacements, as well as 2 exfoliating heads. These are housed in a sturdy plastic box. The blades are wrapped with a micro-fine wire to reduce the chance of nicks or cuts. The blade is easy to remove by sliding it off the tool. This set also includes a USB type-C charging cable and a charging stand. Note that the charging indicator lights on the machine are always on when the stand is plugged in and they are very bright.The three speed settings are easy to adjust by pressing the power button. The bright light helps you see hairs that are easy to miss with traditional dermaplaners or razors. To use this tool, pull your skin taut and use short, feathering strokes at a 45 degree angle. Use a small brush to clear the blade if it clogs with skin and hair during use. I clean the blade after removing it from the tool with soap and water after use. The blade did rust under the plastic when I left it to air dry. I have used this tool 4 times so far and am still using the first blade with good results.I really like how smooth my skin feels after using this dermaplaning tool. I find my moisturizer and makeup go on more evenly. Overall, this is a great tool to remove facial hair and to exfoliate without needing frequent salon visits. It is nicely packaged so would make a wonderful gift.
