    I’ve been really enjoying this shampoo so far. It cleans my scalp very well without leaving my hair feeling dry or stripped, which is something I struggle with because many scalp-focused shampoos can be too harsh. After a few uses, my hair started to feel softer, stronger, and visibly healthier.What I love most is that it gives my hair a fuller and more voluminous look without making it heavy. My scalp also feels refreshed and balanced after washing.     Great Product at a Reasonable Price

    I tried many shampoos with the hope that they wouldn’t dry my scalp, especially when using a few or more times a week. For me, dry scalp translates to dry, brittle hair that looks and feels thin. This shampoo pretty much eliminated that problem. Thinning hair feels thicker and my scalp seems to not itch (obviously by addressing dry scalp). My scalp feels great afterward! For even better results I use a conditioner (Marc Anthony Instantly Thick). Besides all that, the price is very reasonable. Super happy with Dove Density Boost Shampoo.

    Eh, didn’t do much

    I have used this shampoo on and off during my wash days (which admittedly haven’t been often enough since I have been a busy bee) but the few times that I have used this shampoo, I personally didn’t notice any amazing benefits from it. For the record, I do like Dove. Their damage repair hair masks work beautifully on my thick dry hair, and I had high hopes for the scalp care benefits this shampoo claims to offer, but the few times I did use it, I noticed an increase in shedding. Which sure, can be chucked up to anything. But so had my mother, her hair was shedding in clumps when she began to use this. And mind you, she can’t afford to lose any of the hair she does have because it’s naturally thin.In my personal opinion, if you are looking for a shampoo that promotes scalp health, buy one that has clarifying benefits, because at the end of the day, a clean scalp is more often than not a healthy scalp. And look for shampoos that actually have active ingredients in them. I understand the direction that dove was going by adding glycerin, zinc and peptides to this shampoo. But they are not formulated as active ingredients.You will either have to use this more than three times a week over the course of at least three months to notice any of the promised benefits (if that’s even the reason why you’re buying this, and not just because it is an affordable shampoo from a trustworthy brand) or you may not see any benefits at all. Because one good review, and likewise one bad review, isn’t a representation of all this can or cannot do for your hair.

    Good everyday rotation shampoo

    So far so good. It lathers well for a sulfate-free formula, leaves my hair feeling clean but not stripped. My hair does feel softer and looks a bit healthier, though I’m not expecting any miracles for density — I mainly got it as a gentle daily option while using a stronger treatment on the side. No scalp irritation either, which is a plus since I have sensitive skin.Solid choice if you need something mild for everyday use.

    Incredible shampoo, love it

    I’ve only used once so far but blown away by how my hair feels. So soft and shiny too. Another hair care product (have not narrowed it down) was causing painful sores all over my scalp. After this one use, the sores are calmed. I used the Derma Scalp conditioner as well and so very pleased with how easy my hair was to style. Please don’t ever change this formula and if you do, let me buy up lots of this version.

    A Good Value

    This shampoo is sulfate free, but still suds nicely. I like the fragrance and it leaves my hair soft and feeling thicker. Also, my scalp has fewer problems than with other shampoos. Overall, it is a good value for the money.
