Love love love. I ordered this on a whim, a friend of mine raves about theirs so I thought I would give it a go Boy was I impressed. I use it at home and recently on the road to Palm Springs, it worked like a champ. My hair looked amazing. It’s a little heavier than my friends but does the trick. I have shorter hair so im not sure how it works on longer hair. Love that it comes with its own pouch. Just not happy with the charging cord, you need an adapter to plug into USB so the cord is useless. Fits great in my purse too..

The thing I like most about this straightening comb is how easy it is to take with me. Straightening works well – heavy – battery drain if not locked out
I picked this up for my daughter who is always wanting to straighten her hair but has had incidents with traditional straighteners and accidental burns. This hairbrush model, from Dreame, is a good alternative with a design that promotes safety by keeping the heated surface well away from skin at the base of the stiff bristles. Unlike a traditional brush, these bristles are aluminum or plastic and remain quite rigid, with the heated plate underneath. It has a variety of temperature settings, adjusted in 10 degree C increments to a maximum of 200 C, adjusted using buttons on the handle. That is also where the power button is located. In addition, it has a sliding physical lockout switch to prevent accidental activation and it also cuts off the battery from inactive drain. We found that without the lockout switch engaged, the battery would drop substantially over a day or two even without use. 50 minutes is a very optimistic runtime assessment, but 30 is reasonably achievable. It’s quite heavy due to the battery in the handle, so your arm can definitely get tired with prolonged use. The battery is charged via a USB-C connection and no power brick is included. It charges quite quickly as the battery is reasonably small in overall capacity – an hour on a 5V 2A charger got it to full. However, it does heat up quickly and is quite effective at applying heat and straightening hair. Cooldown takes quite a bit longer. At time of review, this was priced at $100 CAD which is about what you’d pay for a mid-tier consumer straightener but doubles as a brush, so it’s a reasonably good overall value.
