Caused irritation on my face.
This shaver gave an OK shave, but it left my face irritated and red. I will not be using it in the future.It is a nice size, and I thought it would be great to travel. It charges via a USB-C cable, so no separate special charger is required. Based on the minimal usage I gave it, I’m guessing I would have been able to shave my face at least 10-12 times on a charge, so batter life is pretty good.But I just can’t get past the irritation it caused to my skin. For the price, I feel there are better options available.

Just ok
I normally use a blade when I shave, but on occasion I will use a foil electric shaver and I tried this one out for several uses. When it arrived, I was impressed by the weight – not too heavy but not flimsy light. I was also happy to see the battery had a full charge and it appears to last quite a while.When I used it, I was pleased that it didn’t hurt and have that tugging feeling I sometimes experience with electric shavers. They are never as effective as using a blade, and this is no exception. I had to repeatedly go over the same areas to have effective hair removal, especially on my neck area. It also left me with some skin irritation and an occasional bump. That is something I won’t stand for, so I went back to the blade.My wife continued to test it on her legs. She found it pleasant enough and comfortable to use, but not very effective. It just left too much fine hair on her legs.For us, this is a pass but it is not all terrible and I think it could work better for others. The irritation I had was only small areas so maybe I was using too much pressure but I’m not sure. I’m not ready to dispatch it all together and I can see myself using it in a pinch, but not on a regular basis.

Good Rechargeable Razor for Daily Use
This razor is easy to use and works well for regular face shaving. The angled head makes it comfortable to move around the face, and the motor has enough power for normal daily or every-other-day use. It is also quieter than I expected, which is nice first thing in the morning.The material and build quality feel good for the price. It is lightweight, easy to rinse, and the wet/dry design makes it more versatile depending on how you like to shave. The battery display is useful because you are not guessing how much charge is left, and USB-C charging is a nice modern touch. Battery life has been good for routine use.I would not say it replaces a high-dollar premium shaver, especially if you let stubble get too heavy, but for keeping up with regular shaving it does a nice job. Durability seems decent, and the value is good overall.

Ok Foil Razor
The initial appearance was great, the razor has a nice weight to it and a good grip, feels high quality and is very easy to use / clean. The first shave was nice and smooth and a close shave without any irritation but upon the second use definitely experienced some skin redness and itching. The battery percentage indicator is a nice feature and it does come with a usb c cable and cover for the shaver. If your looking for a quick on the go razor this would probably be an ok choice if your willing to take the risk on skin irritation, if you have very sensitive skin I suggest maybe looking into something a little more expensive with anti irritation properties. Overall ok foil razor for the cost. 3/5

Does Not Do a Good Job of Shaving.
This is my honest review of ElecTrym E1020 Dual Foil Head Electric Shaver for Men ($35.99).My husband was looking for an inexpensive travel shaver, and based on the product description, this one seemed like it would fit the bill. Unfortunately, it did not live up to expectations.There are a few positives worth mentioning. The shaver arrived in a nice presentation box, has an attractive design, feels comfortable to hold, charged quickly, and is easy to clean.However, the most important job of any shaver is delivering a close, comfortable shave, and this is where the product fell short. It did a poor job of shaving my husband’s facial hair, leaving behind stubble and requiring multiple passes. Even worse, it left his skin red and irritated afterward.While I appreciate the compact size and attractive appearance, performance is what matters most in a travel shaver. Unfortunately, this one simply did not provide a close or comfortable shave.Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this shaver.

a very handy razor
Shaving is not my favorite thing to do. Fortunately I have a job where I can get away with having stubble on my face. I just have to try to have attractive stubble, think of George Clooney, or Don Johnson in Miami Vice. Manicured stubble.So this type of razor comes in really handy for maintaining that rough stubbly look. I have had several of these types of razors in the past and they are quite useful. They don’t really give a close shave but they do take the stubble down to that just barely sprouted rough look that I am trying for.They are also easy to clean. This one works as well as all the others I have tried. It does the job. Now if I want a close shave I will pull out my shaving cream and safety razor. But the rest of the time I will take off several days of beard growth when I need to and this device is just right for doing that. And they do not irritate my skin unless you grind them into one’s face which is just common sense. Going for a close shave is not going to be easy on your face. I don’t even attempt to shave closely with this kind of razor.One thing I have learned though, do not drop these razors on the floor. Hold on to them tight. I dropped one and it broke into a couple of pieces and it could not be fixed. I have learned to treat them with care and always maintain a firm grip whenever I am using one.

Looks really nice but shave could be better
My husband and I travel about every other month. He has a toiletry bag and the only thing missing is a spare razor. We ordered this a few weeks back and used it for our trip out of state for 5 days. I really wanted to like this razor because it’s nice – but I’m not sure it’s worth it.PROS:- Looks sleek! The metal case and shiny appearance makes it fancy looking. You can see in the pictures I posted that it looks expensive.- Charging is easy with the cord provided, but it came mostly charged so that was nice!- The battery indicator display is nice, so you don’t have to guess when to charge or run out of juice when you’re in a rush in the mornings.- Easy to clean out and no hairs flying all over the counter. The hairs fall nicely into the razor when shaving.CONS:- The quality of the shave just isn’t there. It took several passes to get a nice clean shave. We know that nothing compares to a straight razor, but this left more than a few hairs behind.- Because the razor doesn’t catch all the hairs, it took a few extra passes to capture them. Unfortunately, I think this is what causes the irritation to my husband’s face. He doesn’t have sensitive skin – so this was a bummer.- Overall value just isn’t there

A Decent Foil Razor
I dry shave both my face and head daily. Typically, immediately after jumping out of the shower and letting my face and head dry for a few minutes. I used this razor for my usual daily shaving ritual several times before my review.Shaving face and head knocks about 5% off the rechargeable battery life. When I see the razor is getting down into the 30% range, I plug it into the outlet using my own power block. The supplied USB-A to USB-C cable probably works but I use a dual USB-C cable and power block set up for recharging.The razor is on the loud side for a foil razor. Especially when you consider this is only a foil razor and doesn’t have the clipper between the foil heads that other razors have.Without the clipper for longer hairs, you’ll want to use this daily before hairs or whiskers get too long for the foil heads. As a daily shaver, it takes care of my needs.If I shaved wet in the shower, I’d be concerned with holding onto the razor as the exterior is shiny and slick. So shiny that you can use the back of the razor as an emergency mirror if needed.The best feature of the razor for me is zero leakage of clippings from the shaving head when used. The razor catches everything and my white sink isn’t covered in clippings after use. Just remove the foil head over the garbage can and all your trimmings fall out. Use the included brush daily if you want, but I only deep clean the razor once a week.For now the closeness of shave is good for my face and a compromise on my skull. The foil shaving head doesn’t have the same ability to follow the contours of my skull the way a rotary razor can. If you travel with the razor, you can lock the power button to avoid accidental activation.The included instructions are sufficient if this is your first experience using a foil razor of this type.
