    Very convenient shaver, I use it for travel.Would be good as a gift, too, it’s nicely packaged.Nothing special to say – battery seems to last a while, I got several shaves out of one charge. It fits well in the hand (ergonomics) – the design looks a bit “blocky” but that’s just a simple design.From a quality perspective I think it’s on par with similar shavers. I expect it will last quite some time, it seems well builtCleaning is OK, it’s easy to open. Of course the more you take care of it the longer it will last, so that matters a lotI like the display that shows how much battery remainsDecent value overall!

    Not a close shave

    I’m a fan of foil shavers; I used the same Remington tri-foil model for thirty years until the motor broke. I’d hoped this would be a good replacement; unfortunately, it isn’t.It comes nicely boxed. The USB-C charging port is convenient. The pop-out trimmer works well on sideburns and the travel lock function is a nice touch. Those are the good things.The design is awkward: a very broad shaving head, combined with a long handle, doesn’t give the kind of movement leverage that a chunkier style of shaver does. And even though it’s marketed as a 5-blade shaver, it’s really only 3 shaving foils; the other 2 advertised blades are recessed foils of the kind used to cut really thick or long hair. If I wanted to cut thick hair, I’d use a standard trimmer/buzz cutter. The head cover/protector is magnetic and works well, but the shaving head itself appears to be very cheaply made, perhaps out of plastic painted metallic silver.On the whole, this shaver doesn’t perform well for me, and I don’t recommend it.

    A Decent Value Foil Razor

    I shave my face and head daily so finding a single razor that works for both is a bit of a compromise because my face bends in ways my scalp can’t. I recently returned from a vacation trip were I used a smaller travel-size version of a 5 blade foil razor like this. This razor is a bit bigger in the handle so ease of use and shaving comfort is a 5 out of 5.Battery life is not so great right now as one full shave cycle will knock off the 10% battery life. Being lithium battery powered I believe the battery life will improve with a few charging cycles. It’s not bad battery life, but it’s not exceptionally good.I do very much like the dual speed option. I use the lower speed on my face and the higher shaving speed when shaving my head and the back of my neck. Unlike the smaller travel size razor, this razor has a full-size handle that’s easy to maneuver when working under my chin and upper lip.Compared to foam and blade shaving I’d give the closeness of shave an 8 out of 10. 9 out of 10 for the face and 8 out of 10 on my scalp due to the limited flexibility of the shave head and lack of flexibility of my scalp. The razor doesn’t leave visible stubble, but you can feel it with your hand when you done.The razor also adds a precision trimmer if you wanted to trim a moustache, beard, or sideburns. Unfortunately, I have none of those so I did not test the on board trimmer.As far as value for what you get, this is a good one. At the current price point I think a person could buy this once and enjoy many months of shaves before the blade head needs to be replaced. It’s also faster for me to dry shave after a shower than wet shave while in the shower, but this waterproof razor is supposed to be able to shave wet or dry.Lastly, the comprehensive instructions and cleaning brush are very good if this is the first razor of this type you buy. All the important points are covered. Speaking of covered, the magnetic blade cover is great for protecting the foil head if you have to store the razor in a drawer with other stuff between shaves.

    You get what you pay for…

    This Electric Foil Shaver performed about as well as I should have expected from a $30 shaving product. The device is relatively lightweight, and the slightly tapered handle made it comfortable to hold and operate. The LED display is large, bright, and easy to read. The fold out trimmers are simple to use. The power button is tactile and responsive. The head of the shaver is slightly tilted towards you, when using it. The USB Type C charging port is well positioned and charges the battery quickly. The battery holds a charge well, and only got down to 75%, after shaving my entire face and chin (approx. 20 minutes). The foil coverings on the shavers are smooth, and the motor operates more quietly than I was expecting. The kit includes a USB Type A to Type C charging cable, and a tiny cleaning brush. The cap for the shaver head is magnetized and holds in place well, even while tossed into a toiletry bag. Toggling between the Low and High settings is simple and intuitive. Removing the shaver section is as simple as pressing a button, and the cleaning process is incredibly quick and easy.That all being said, there were a few sticking points that missed the mark:- The kit does NOT include a Travel Pouch, as listed in the product details.- The blades constantly snagged on my facial hair, which is relatively painful and irritating.- The blades are not very effective, as it took multiple, MULTIPLE, multiple, repeated passes, over and over and over and over again, twisting and turning the shaver, switching all directions, applying varying amounts of pressure, for it to cut (nearly) all of my facial hair.- The shaver head becomes very warm, while in use, the the point that I had to let it rest and cool down before continuing on.Overall, it’s not a bad shaver, I just don’t consider it to be a good value, even at this low price point. It was frustrating and painful to use, and I would not order it again, however, it did EVENTUALLY shave down my facial hair.

    Electric shaver, great for price!

    I got this for my husband and he’s been really happy with it. The five blades make it quick to get a close shave, and the floating heads seem to do a good job around the jawline and neck. I like that it can be used wet or dry and that it’s waterproof, so cleaning it is really easy. The LED display is also nice for keeping track of the battery. Overall, it feels like a much more expensive shaver than it actually is.

    Missed the Mark

    I’ve used this electric razor and came away disappointed with its overall performance. The plastic body feels cheap, and it’s noticeably louder than I expected every time I shave.The biggest issue is that it doesn’t shave very closely. I have to go over the same spots several times, and even then it still leaves behind stubble, so the results aren’t as smooth as I was hoping for.One feature I did appreciate was the digital display. The battery percentage is easy to read, and the cleaning reminder is genuinely helpful. Unfortunately, those conveniences weren’t enough to make up for the weak shaving performance.

    A little noisy but this razor works!

    This is a budget friendly rechargeable electric foil shaver featuring a 5-blade floating head design, a built-in LED battery percentage status display, and a fully waterproof body.My husband tried this razor on his face. He immediately realized his hairs were too long because the razor was pulling them rather than cutting the hair. So he trimmed it to a more manageable level for an electric razor (he hadn’t shaved in like a week)). He then proceeded to go over his face, and it works great. The only issue he notated is this razor is just straight across and misses some of his longer stray hairs causing him to go over some areas multiple times. The head is slightly wide, which takes a little getting used to since my husband usually uses an articulating three-headed razor.It is a simple machine with a high and low setting (and low was good enough for him) that shows the exact remaining battery percentage and power level, so you’re never caught off guard mid-shave. In his opinion it will perform best as a daily maintenance razor or a quick dry shave before heading out (even in the shower with water and maybe a little shaving cream, you can do that with this razor)! It’s fully waterproof so this razor makes shaving (in the shower) easy and cleanup simple; just pop off the head and rinse under running water when you are done.Overall, this razor is a reliable, hassle-free daily groomer that delivers great value for the price.
