For the price, this is actually a pretty solid little foil shaver. It’s lightweight, easy to hold, and the floating head design helps it move around the jawline better than really cheap rigid razors.I also like the USB-C charging and battery display because it feels more modern and convenient for travel.The pop-up trimmer is useful for quick cleanup around sideburns and edges too.I wouldn’t compare it to a very high-end electric razor, but as an affordable everyday shaver or travel option, it performs surprisingly well.

Looks Nice, Works Well, and Charges Quickly
This item arrived neatly enclosed in a product box that includes the foil shaver itself, a cleaning brush, a USB-to-USB-C charging cable, and a user manual. Upon opening this product, I was pleased to find that it looks in person exactly as it does in the product images.This shaver is nicely weighted and is a two-tone color with a metallic chrome color on the front and a matte black color on the back. The razor part is also the same two colors and includes a plastic cover that has helpful slats in the top so the item can dry better when it is immediately capped after use with water. It is 6.5 inches in length, 2.25 inches in width at the widest part, and 1.5 inches at the thickest point of the device. The USB-C charging port is located on the bottom of the handle, and there is a single button that powers the device located in the middle of the front of the handle. The item charges fairly quickly and seems to maintain a charge for several shaves.Using the device is straightforward. It is powered on and off by holding down the single center button for three seconds. Beneath the button, on the front part of the handle, it initially looks like a shiny surface, but in actuality, that is the part with the LED display that tells you the current charge level while the device is running and the total time the device has been used. The device has both the primary foil shaver element, plus an additional pop-up trimmer located on the back. It can be used wet or dry.While using this device I found that it performs as expected for this style of shaver at this price point. I did not end up with any nicks or razor burn using the device either dry or wet, and I found that it worked well for removing both stubble and slightly longer hair. It is not the quietest razor that I own, and the handle vibrates more when in use than some of my other devices, but neither of those observations is really problematic and doesn’t impact my rating at all. Also, you will perpetually have fingerprints on the shiny chrome handle. I swear you can just look at this thing and smudge the metallic surface, but this is just an aesthetic point and doesn’t impact performance at all.Overall, I think this device is a great value, especially if you would like to have an extra shaver for travel. I have enjoyed using it so far, and I look forward to continuing to use it in the future.

I had fairly modest expectations for this foil shaver. It is not a premium unit, but it is actually quite functional and the initial performance is surprisingly good.The shaving head uses a dual foil design with a center trimmer. On the first few shaves it cuts very close, easily comparable to a fresh razor blade in terms of closeness. It removes short stubble quickly and does not require excessive pressure. The head also floats slightly, which helps it follow facial contours.The motor power seems adequate and the unit is comfortable to hold. Charging is via USB C, and the shaver is rated IPX6 so it can be rinsed under running water for cleaning. Those are practical features and make the device easy to live with day to day.Build quality is clearly mass produced but acceptable. The plastics feel ordinary rather than premium, but nothing feels fragile. This is typical of many generic grooming tools.The real question with a shaver like this is durability. Foil shavers often perform very well when new, but the long term performance depends on how well the foil and inner cutters hold their edge. That is something only time will answer.At the current retail price of about 37.95, this sits in an awkward middle range. It works well, but the price is close enough to entry level name brand shavers that buyers may reasonably compare them.I think if the foil and cutters can deliver solid daily shaves for around six months and longer, then the value proposition becomes much more competitive. If performance drops sooner than that, the price will feel high for an unknown brand.For now, the early performance is promising. It delivers a close shave and the basic design works well. Longevity will ultimately determine whether it represents good value.
