don’t know how, but it works
I feel I’m writing the same review as others, but I LOVE this brush, and I don’t normally love inanimate objects. I have thick, very long, very curly hair and gave not been able to use a hair brush for 30+ years. I have had to struggle with lots of spray detangler and combs for curly hair. At a recent baby shower, I lamented at the struggles I have brushing my daughter’s thick, long, curly hair, and a lady said the wet brush made all the difference combing her daughter’s hair. While skeptical, I bought a set of 3 mini wet brushes and…..I was shocked. The brush just slipped through my daughter’s hair like magic. No conditioner. No detangler. Most importantly, NO TEARS! I really couldn’t believe it. She no longer cringes when I say it is time to brush out her hair. So, a glimmer oh hope formed in my head and, perhaps overly optimistically, I researched which brush might not break off in my hair (used to happen all the time), and I ordered this one. Well, all I can tell you is that it works on my wet hair. I have not tried it on dry hair. I can now brush my hair after a shower without detangler and without struggling with combs getting caught in lots of tangles. And, as a happy consequence, my scalp LOVES being brushed! The bristles look like the bristles on other brushes but they sure don’t act the same.I just ordered a second one for another location . So, I can’t explain it, but it works..

Great to use in the shower! It’s pain-free!
I love this brush!!! It detangles your hair pain-free! (I use it in the shower with conditioner.) I was a bit skeptical before I bought this brush when I read that it was “Pain-free.” I didn’t really think that was possible, I mean if your hair is tangled, you will feel some pain. But to my surprise, it is actually pain-free! The bristles are hard but soft enough where they slide through the tangle instead of breaking its way through like other brushes or combs with really hard bristles. I recently had my second hair coloring session (going blonder) and my hair became dry and would tangle a lot more and it became very difficult to detangle my hair when dry outside the shower, but I would break and pull the hair a lot, so I decided to try this brush in the shower, with conditioner and it works great! no pulling or breaking the hair! 100% recommended. It does take me like 3-5 minutes maybe to detangle it, but works great!I haven’t really used it to blowdry my hair yet, so ill update this review once I do.Also, I was in between this model and another one advertise as an actual “shower wet brush” but had a really weird shape, kinda like a zigzag with openings where your hair would get stuck. This is SOOO much better. It has the openings for faster drying, you can use it in or outside the shower, its just perfect!

I really loved my wet brush original and this is a nice upgrade.Pros: It feels much sturdier than the original and the contour of the brush is perfect; it feels great on the scalp. I can brush conditioner through wet hair with ease. The vents are nice and I love that I can dry my hair quickly.Cons: The bristles aren’t quite as flexible as the original. This is great for blowdrying, but not as gentle on the hair…just something to be aware of. Because of how sparse the bristles are, and how fine my hair is, it’s hard to get a good grip for blowing out my hair. My hair dries quickly, but not as strait and smoothly as it does with a round brush.Solution: dry 95% with this and finish with a round brush (or just dry with this then curl with iron).

Worth every penny!
I have a kid that has very, very thick hair and a very tender scalp. Years have gone by and we’ve tried every type of brush and comb we could find. Years ago, we even tried a different kind of wet brush, but all of them resulted in tears because of her tender scalp and many tangles. We went to a new hairdresser and she recommended this brush. I was skeptical, especially since we’d already tried a wet brush several years before and it didn’t seem to be much different. This one is magical. I don’t know how else to explain how it gets through my daughters very thick hair while at the same time not causing tears. I was curious enough this morning to see how big of a difference it really made and so tried it on myself after struggling to get a wide tooth comb through my wet hair. This thing glided effortlessly through my hair and got all of the tangles out. Seriously, the only way to explain it is magical. LOL. I love this brush.Also, my daughter who has hated brushing her hair and avoided it at all costs for over a decade is now brushing her hair without being told to. In fact, the day we got it in the mail I had to tell her to stop brushing her hair because she loved it so much and had been brushing both her hair and a siblings hair for a good 45 minutes.

Better than wet brush
I ordered this brush thinking it was a wet brush and realized it wasn’t when it arrived. I requested a refund and received it very promptly. The brush did not need to be sent back so I though I would give it a try since it was just sitting there. After using it I LOVE IT!! Even more than the wet brush! I have very long thick curly/wavy hair and this brush is amazing at detangling we or dry. I like how the head of the brush is large and contoured so it glides really well around you head. It’s extremely comfortable to hold light weight and very easy to clean. Even though I did not pay for this brush I loved it so much I had to come write a review and I would absolutely buy this brush(again)! Lastly I have yet to use the brush for drying as I usually use a big barrel brush so I can’t comment on that but seems like it would work well

FANTASTIC for detangling thick hair!
I am so glad I bought this. I have curly fine hair, but it is also VERY THICK. The regular Wet Brush is great, but it only gets the surface level tangles. The tangles underneath don’t get much help unless I part my hair into smaller sections. The most annoying thing for me about the regular Wet Brush is that I can’t even feel it when I brush the hair in the back of my head, ya know that wonderful feeling of a hairbrush that gets all the nooks and crannies and you can feel is on your scalp? The regular doesn’t do that for me :(. But THIS one…the Epic Professional is AMAZING. The bristles are long enough to get the deep tangles in my thick hair, flexible enough to detangle gently without ripping out hair, and it feels SO GOOD on the scalp. Seriously, I know it’s just a hairbrush but it just feels so good especially for me since my scalp never sees the light of day through my thick hairs. The difference between this and a regular Wet Brush are the the bristles are just a little stiffer (but still flexible so it doesn’t rip the hair) and longer to really thoroughly brush your hair, VS. the regular one the bristles are much more flexible and shorter making it more ideal for thinner hair. I highly, HIGHLY recommend the Epic Professional Quick Dry Hairbrush to everyone, especially anyone with thick hair :).

hi I am a real person not a paid review I don’t do reviews but I had to on this one. it truly is an epic brush I didn’t notice anything much on the drying power but the detangling process was awesome. I am a thick wavy with knots, tangles and my hair being beyond dry and frizzy especially after washing. I heard of this brush for at least 2 years yes it took awhile but I’ve been embracing this wavy girl process for awhile and frankly I was beyond done then I decided to improve my brushes my perfect hair brush was worn and I could have bought another but I rembr seeing epic brush on mane mells Amazon store and decided to try it and omg I’m so glad I did it I de tangled without hurting or pulling all my hair out I truly am in love with the epic brush it’s EPIC in fact I was blown away my husband said I didn’t hear you screaming so I will say this I thought what could brushes do I tried the wet brush the denmans with no relief but I recently learned I have fine thick hair so that was one of the problems I tried so many conditioners and masks but nothing worked after washing my hair it became a knotted mess so I figured what could a brush do but it is everything the detangling process is crucial if I was doing that wrong what else could I be doing wrong so I’m really looking at this whole process again but at least I have an epic brush so pls do yourself a favor don’t endure the pain buy this brush

Great brush for drying a spiky pixie haircut
I saw this brush mentioned in a YouTube video to use if you wanted to have a good drying result for your spiky cut pixie hairstyle. It REALLY WORKS!!! I was very disappointed with my initial order. I was sent a VERY defective brush that had been crushed and missing a bristle. I took the risk of ordering another one. The second one looked amazingly different in condition. I don’t know if the first one was an outlet type of brush being of less quality. But the second one I received is great!!!
