Very good collagen hair mask
We picked this up mainly to repair some damaged, over processed hair, and it’s been a solid addition to our routine so far. I’d say the value for the money is pretty good, though I wouldn’t feel obligated to wait around for a sale on this one since the price stays reasonable as is and the tube lasts through quite a few uses.I found the application easy too. I just smooth it on after shampooing and it spreads through my hair without any clumping, then I rinse it out after the recommended wait time without any hassle.My partner has been using it as well and genuinely enjoys it, saying it goes on nicely and doesn’t weigh her hair down afterward.I didn’t notice any unusual smell either, which is a relief since a lot of hair masks leave behind a strong lingering scent. My hair didn’t feel dry afterward either, if anything I’d call it quite hydrating, and it left my hair noticeably softer and easier to manage.I’d recommend this to anyone dealing with damaged or color treated hair. The collagen and keratin blend seems to be doing exactly what it promises, and we haven’t run into any downsides with it yet. -ESTHETIC HOUSE CP-1 Professional LPP Collagen Repair Damaged Hair Mask-I have type 4a/4b hair. I am also about 14 months post relaxer, as I am transitioning to natural for the first time in my life. So, the half of my hair that is relaxed needs extra protein and moisture. And the part of my hair that is natural needs a hair mask with a good amount of slip, so that I can detangle my hair. This mask did great on both for me.It smells good and I found it to be very moisturizing for my hair. There are literally just one or two conditioners that I have found so far that have enough slip for me to successfully detangle my natural hair. It’s very thick and coarse. I was so excited to find that I can now add this to the list!My hair felt great during and after the treatment. It felt soft and hydrated after I rinsed it out.My complaints are minor. The consistency is a bit thin, so I would have preferred this be put in a pump bottle rather than a tub. Also, the label that had the instructions in English is just a regular piece of paper with ink that immediately smudged when I got in the shower. So, you might want to read the label before you get in the shower.

Hair mask to help damaged hair
I was excited to try the ESTHETIC HOUSE CP-1 Professional LPP Collagen Repair Damaged Hair Mask because I color my hair about once a month, so my hair can sometimes feel dry or damaged. I do not normally use conditioner anymore, so I was a little unsure about trying a hair mask because I did not want my hair to feel heavy or greasy. The product has keratin, protein, collagen, and hyaluronic acid, and it is made in Korea. The directions are simple. After shampooing, towel dry the hair, apply the mask, leave it on for 5 to 10 minutes, and then rinse with lukewarm water. I was actually surprised by how soft and manageable my hair felt after using it. It felt almost like I had used a conditioner, even though this is a deeper treatment mask. My hair also felt lighter and smoother after it dried, instead of feeling weighed down. I also liked the pleasant smell that stayed in my hair without being too much. As far as appearance and quality, the product comes in a large 11.8-ounce, 300ml container, so you get a good amount of product for the price. The texture was easy to spread through my hair, and I did not need a huge amount for each use. I cannot say that it completely repairs all hair damage, because no hair product can permanently fix damaged hair, but I do think it made my hair feel healthier, softer, and easier to manage. Since I color my hair every month, I like having a treatment like this that I can use when my hair needs some extra moisture and softness. I also like that it is a mask and not just a regular conditioner, so it feels more like an extra treatment for my hair. For the price, I think it is a good value, especially considering the size of the container and how my hair felt afterward. Affordable Softness and Conditioning
I chose this because I have thin, fine ,brittle hair prone to breakage. The jar of collagen repair mask I received in August of 2026 included a lot number an an expiration date of December of 2028.The container had a tamper resistant plastic wrap and an inner safety seal. I initially discarded the plastic wrap only to discover later that the instructions and ingredients list on the container were entirely in Korean. The instructions and ingredients in English were only printed on a label on the outer wrap so I retrieved it from the trash and taped this label to the container. It was possible for me to use Google translate to read the label on the container, but having the label in English simplified things.The mask itself has a creamy consistency with a very noticeable floral scent.The instructions said to apply to clean, towel-dried damp hair, allow to remain for 5-10 minutes and rinse which I did. The mask left my hair noticeably softer and manageable.I also tried using the mask overnight on dry hair, while not in the directions for this mask, overnight use is sometimes more convenient than wet hair application. I found this to be effective as well, however my hair was a little clumpy in the morning and the floral scent was tiresome and noticeable during overnight use but fortunately the smell did not linger after thoroughly rinsing the product out of my hair.The mask was not greasy and I feel like this large container of mask is an excellent value.

Not as hydrating as I thought it would be
I’m using this hair protein cream to help me manage my chemo curls, which extremely unruly and dry.These cream is not greasy, and lightweight, and easy to remove.But sadly I felt like the Honest kid’s conditioner moisturerized my hair more.I will continue using it but as a last step after conditioner not by it self.

softens and smoothes damaged ends without heaviness or greasiness
I have long, thick, coarse wavy hair that I heat style and color regularly. The mid-lengths and root area look fine; my ends can get a bit tangled/flyaway and look dry and damaged.This conditioner has a thinner consistency than expected, but I love that about it! It isn’t a thick, oily-feeling cream, and it glides through the lengths of my hair effortlessly. It rinses well, too, making it easy to use and leaving no heaviness or residue that would flatten my hair or make the waves limp.After drying, my hair feels soft and smooth, looks healthier, and still moves well. This works well for my dry, damaged ends; a long time ago I used to do overall bleach and I feel like this would make a good overall treatment for bleach-damaged hair, too.This does have a pretty strong floral fragrance that I’ve come to associate with a lot of K-beauty conditioners. A very nice hair mask, with a pleasant smell, without English instructions
This CP-1 hair mask says that it supplies the protein necessary to help manage damaged hair.The instructions on the back are all in Korean, so with a Little help from my favorite translate app, and my knowledge of how to use a hair mask, I set about using this product.First impressions are that the smell is fairly nice, I wouldn’t call it light, but I also wouldn’t call it too heavy. The consistency is creamy as a hair mask should be, and it goes into the hair very nicely. It has a non greasy texture, and appears to have a moisturizing effect.After use, my hair does feel more manageable and actually seems a bit lighter. It leaves a pleasant smell in the hair as well. I would call it an effective product.I would rate the product as easy to use, and I believe it provides a good value for the price.Minus one star for the instructions only being in Korean. I really like and enjoy Korean hair products, but I don’t speak Korean, and if you are selling a product in the US market, in my opinion it should have an insert with English instructions.

I Experienced Significant Hair Shedding After Using This
I usually start my reviews by commenting on various aspects of a product before writing about how it worked for me. I should also mention that neither my skin nor hair is particularly sensitive, and I’ve never had an issue with a Korean product before. Today I used “CP-1 Professional LPP Collagen Repair Damaged Hair Mask” by ESTHETIC HOUSE. The instructions say to apply the mask for 5 to 10 mins after shampooing your hair. That’s exactly what I did, and this hair mask was the only product that was different in my haircare routine this evening.Everything was fine until it was time to rinse it out of my hair. The first thing I noticed was that it was really difficult to rinse. Once some of the product started to rinse out, I began noticing a lot of hair shedding. Clumps of hair were sticking to my legs. It felt like the mask started sticking to my skin, and then my skin started itching. I don’t think I’ve ever started itching in the shower before. The shedding continued as I rinsed the mask from my hair. By the time I was able to get the mask entirely off my hair and skin, I had to empty 3 drain strainers full of hair. I’ve never had to empty a strainer during a shower because it had become so full. I was standing in the shower in horror. I rewashed my hair and applied my usual conditioner, but my hair was still shedding. I turned on the cold water to help soothe the itching. I skipped using any other skin or haircare products after finally getting the mask off of me and took an antihistamine.Based on my experience, I won’t be using this product again. I’ve never shed anywhere near the amount of hair I lost that evening. This mask was the only thing different in my routine that day.
