What a fun tool.If you’re going for that natural, lived-in wave you see everywhere, this is the wand they use. The “bubble” name comes from the barrel shape, with rounded sections separated by small dips. That shape is what makes it work. It’s not for tight, uniform curls, but for looser, varied waves that keep hair from looking overstyled. When you wrap your hair, the grooves guide it into bends instead of identical coils. Once separated gently with your hands, not a brush, the result is soft waves with lift and movement.The 32mm size is a good width for thicker hair, creating more of a bend and body rather than shortening the hair.The barrel has a tourmaline ceramic coating, which helps the hair glide smoothly, prevents snagging, and spreads heat evenly. That means you don’t need the highest setting, and you shouldn’t use it anyway. It has a resting stand, a respectable length 360° swivel cord that doesn’t tangle, as well as a 60-minute auto shut-off.I have naturally wavy hair that holds curl easily, so I used the medium heat setting and wrapped lightly instead of close to the scalp. This gave me the surface wave I wanted. It’s still a heat tool, so it produces curl, just a cooler, softer one than a standard barrel iron.I didn’t include photos because my results wouldn’t match what someone with thin or straight hair would see. My hair holds curl too well, and I’ve been growing out a bad haircut that affects how it falls.There are no instructions, but plenty of tutorials exist on YouTube. Use the included heat-resistant glove until you find your rhythm.Here’s the thing. If you’re reading this because you’re thinking about getting one, I’d say give this one a try. It’s fairly priced for how well it works, and I don’t say that about everything. Trust me. 😉

This iron comes with a glove so you hopefully don’t burn yourself. It’s a challenge to hold it right and it’s easy to burn your hand. I dont suggest it at all.

Worth the buy! Better than the old L’ange one I used before. I like the temperature control, covered tip, and stand. My hair is long and mixed texture (more straight than anything). This was my first use, so I cannot yet speak to longevity of the tool.
