My mom is from Japan, and she has been using this conditioner for years. Her hair always looks healthy, smooth, and glossy. She has thick, coarse black hair (well, mostly gray now!), while I have fine brown hair with highlights, so I was curious whether it would work for my hair type without making it look greasy or weighed down.I’m happy to report that it works great. I apply it about two inches below my roots and work it through to the ends, then let it sit for a few minutes before rinsing. Afterward, my hair feels soft, silky, and easy to brush without feeling heavy.I have refillable glass containers for my hair products, and I love that this conditioner comes in a refill pouch so there is less environmental waste. It’s economical as well; the 8.1 oz plastic tub costs $2.10 per ounce, while this pouch costs $1.74 per ounce.The product page says it can be used daily, but I can’t really comment on that since I only wash my hair once a week and rely on dry shampoo the rest of the time. Even so, I’ve been very pleased with the results. It’s effective, reasonably priced, and something I will definitely purchase again.

The Refill Pouch Makes an Already Great Hair Mask an Even Better Value
Fino has a reputation for a reason. This is one of those hair masks where I can feel the difference while I am still rinsing it out. My hair immediately feels smoother and has much better slip, which makes detangling noticeably easier.The mask itself is very rich, so I concentrate it from the mid-lengths down and use less than I initially think I need. That seems to be the sweet spot. Once my hair is dry, it feels softer, looks shinier, and has less of that rough, frizzy texture at the ends. The effect is more polished and conditioned rather than oily.I also really like the scent. It has a clean, slightly floral salon-product fragrance that makes the treatment feel more indulgent without being overpowering.What makes this particular version especially appealing is the 24.6-ounce refill pouch. The regular Fino jar is not especially large, and if you use the mask consistently it goes quickly. This refill gives you a much more practical amount of product and is a better option for someone who already knows they like the formula. I also prefer refilling the container rather than repeatedly buying another jar.One caution: this is a fairly concentrated treatment. If I use too much or bring it too close to the roots, it can make my hair feel heavier than I want. Used primarily on the lengths and ends, though, the results are excellent.This has become one of my favorite treatments for getting dry or stressed hair back to feeling smooth and manageable. The large refill pouch makes it even easier to keep in regular rotation.

This hair mask is incredible!
I’ve been really happy with this hair mask. My hair can get dry through the ends, and this leaves it feeling noticeably softer and smoother after I use it. It has a nice creamy consistency that spreads through my hair easily, and I don’t feel like I need to use a huge amount each time. After rinsing, my hair feels more manageable and is easier to brush through without feeling weighed down. I also like the large refill pouch because there’s plenty of product and it’s convenient for refilling my container. My Hair Feels So Soft
I’ve really been enjoying this Fino Premium Touch hair mask. My hair felt amazing after using it. It left my hair feeling incredibly soft, smooth, and hydrated without making it feel heavy or greasy.I especially like using it when my hair feels dry or needs a little extra moisture. After rinsing the mask out, my hair felt softer and much easier to manage. It also gave my hair a nice smooth feel that lasted after it dried.The 24.6 oz refill pouch is a great size and should last quite a while, especially since you don’t need a huge amount each time. Good for moisturizing, but best results on thicker, straight hair
I had tried out this product before because it’s advertised “For Dry & Damaged Hair,” but ended up passing it on to my daughter because it works so much better on her hair. I find that Fino Premium Touch Intensive Beauty Serum Hair Mask (Refill Pouch 24.6 oz.) does moisturize, soften and detangle my fine wavy color-treated hair, but it didn’t really enhance the curl and gave me more fluffy volume than smoothing. My daughter’s hair is long, straight and thicker than mine and she really loves the results.This product comes in a large foil pouch with a plastic, twist-off cap and can be transferred to the original Fino jar or a container of your choice. The pouch stands up on its own. I appreciate the large, more economical, less plastic packaging. The writing of the package is in Japanese, but there’s a sticker with the instructions, ingredients, etc. in English on the back.The directions are a bit vague. It says you can rinse out immediately. I used it like a regular hair mask and left it in my hair after shampooing for 15 minutes. It’s a medium-thick cream (compared to other masks) and has a strong, but pleasant, fragrance. It was easy to distribute through my shoulder-length hair and rinsed out cleanly. My daughter had a similar experience using the product and loved the results.

I’ve purchased the Fino Premium Touch Intensive Beauty Serum Hair Mask so many times, so when I saw this value-size refill pouch, I couldn’t pass it up. It’s such a great deal and contains about three bottles’ worth of product.This hair mask leaves my hair incredibly soft, smooth, and shiny. It helps with dryness and frizz without making my hair feel heavy or greasy. My hair feels healthier, looks more manageable, and has a beautiful shine after using it. I use it regularly, and sometimes as a deeper conditioning treatment when my hair needs extra moisture.This has honestly become an addiction—maybe not almost an addiction. OMG , As soon as it touched my hair it was like instant BUTTER ! My hair is now texturized so if you know , you know it’s not easy to keep your hair happy , healthy and MOISTURIZED!!!! My hair felt so good , when I washed it out my hair was so soft during and after it was washed out . I honestly had to keep rinsing just to make sure my hair was so silky !! I will be using this ALL the time . It was a great base for the curls that I still have . It also smells good but subtle. Love this product all the way around . And this refill bag is HUGE ! I don’t even use the initial container and it’s super easy to keep in the shower. This will be my conditioner replacement if need be 😂

Huge package, great value, is the actual product (and I have proof!)
Really great value. I am uniquely qualified to review this because I have an original product I purchased directly, so put your worries away that this is a counterfeit item- it’s the real deal! I opened this package so I could squeeze and compare to my Fino (it’s on the sidewall of the tub in the pic) and it is in fact the same color, texture, great smell, and product! Yay! For the product itself, Fino is THICK. I do not recommend it to girls with easily weighed down hair. If you have textured, fussy, dry hair, this is for you! Extremely hydrating. It does feel a little like petroleum jelly before you warm it up in your hands and introduce water to it, so don’t be scared! I do recommend detangling your hair BEFORE putting this on, it’s not for detangling, it’s for HYDRATING and giving your thirsty locks a big drink so you can have shiny, smooth hair.
