First off, this iron is pink so it’s automatically cute, lol. It is so lightweight-so your hand won’t get fatigue if you’re using it for a while. I have long, thick, wavy hair that is hard to style. This iron literally GLIDES through my hair so effortlessly. To the point where it doesn’t even feel like it’s doing anything. But then you get it to the end of the strands and your hair is straight! I do use it at the highest heat level because my hair is so thick. I don’t like the comb-it doesn’t glide through my hair easily and I actually felt like it made my hair frizzy when using it with the flat iron. It is so easy to remove, though, which is a plus. I like that this has a 360 swivel cord and also a velcro tab to wind the cord up. It also has a locking feature so that you can lock it closed for easy storage and travel. My one complaint is that my hair would continually get stuck where the plates meet the round center, so just be careful to keep your hair away from that center area. This heats up super fast. Once you choose your temperature, it locks it in and I couldn’t figure out a way to change the temp without turning it off and back on again. Not a deal breaker, though, just a quirk. This made my long hair so straight, smooth, and frizz free. Highly recommend!

THIS… IS The Flat Iron Hair Straightener and Curler 2 in 1-Curling Iron, an easy to use two in one solution.Out of the box, the build quality is great and just as pictured. Using this for the first time was just as pleasant with everything either obvious or well outlined in the instructions. Utility is great and just as I expected with nothing negative really to note. It gets hot quick and makes straightening and curling easy.Overall, this is a great option at a price that is honestly not that bad.

Wanted to like it, but it didn’t work well for me

I liked the idea of this being both a straightener and curler, but it just didn’t work as well as I hoped. It heated up, and I was able to use it, but my hair didn’t glide through very smoothly. It pulled a little in spots, which made styling take longer than expected.The curling feature was also harder to use than I thought it would be. I could get some bend in my hair, but the curls didn’t last very long, even with product. I do like the anti-scald design in theory, but overall it felt a little awkward to maneuver.It may work better for someone with a different hair type, but for me it was frustrating and not worth keeping.

Lovely Color, Heats Quickly, and Works Well

This flat iron arrives neatly enclosed in a product box that includes the hair straightener itself and an instructional booklet. This flat iron is possibly one of the prettiest flat irons I own. It is a lovely soft pink and purple color, with a gray circumferential base near the cord. On the back of the device, there is a turning lock that allows you to keep the device stored in a closed position, which I am personally a big fan of. It also has a swiveling cord that is 6.5 feet long, which gives you a lot of flexibility in how close you are to an electrical outlet.The full flat iron measures 12.85 inches (length) x 1.5 inches (width) x 1.25 inches (height). There are two ceramic plates on either side of the inside of the device, with one plate on each side being slightly wider and higher than the other. The combined measurements of both ceramic plates are 4.25 inches (length) x 1.5 inches (width). There is a comb-type edge on one side of the device, which I found made it easier to use this device as a curling iron, although you can only then use it in one direction, which may be slightly more difficult for left-handed users.For anyone who has used this type of hair tool, this one is about as self-explanatory as all of the others. While it is plugged in but not turned on, the round display in the center shows “OFF.” This device also has a 60-minute auto shutoff, which is helpful for those of us who are paranoid about leaving flat irons plugged in, lest we burn our houses down. It is turned on with a long press of the center power button and can be adjusted to temperatures ranging from 230°F to 450°F in 35–40° increments. It gets hot very quickly and shows the rising current temperature as it is heating to your selected temperature. This device also has a locking feature so that once you have turned it on and selected a temperature, if you want to change the temperature while using the device, you have to turn it off, turn it back on, and then reset the temperature that way.Overall, I think this device is very nicely made, with a terrific color scheme and great features. As someone who has long, thin-medium thickness hair, when using this device I feel a bit like I’m ironing a shirt with a steam roller. I think this flat iron would be fantastic for people with medium or thick hair that is medium-to-long in length, but I tend to prefer my much smaller, thinner flat iron for my hair type. Despite my personal preferences, I still think this is a fantastic product that feels durable and substantially weighted, while still being very easy to use.
