Foil Shaver for Men, Dual Floating Foils&3-Blade System for Daily Mini

Shocked! Absolutely Brilliant Mini Shaver

Firstly, I abandoned disposable razors decades ago and have used mid-range Panasonic and Braun electric shavers ever since. Could it be that this little guy actually gives me a better, closer shave than the big-name one I now use? (And yes, I do replace the foil and cutters as recommended, and did so quite recently.) I was floored at how close this little guy shaves—truly thisclose to a blade, easily equalling, even besting the big name brand shavers I’ve used. It fits in the palm of your hand and looks minimalist, sleek, and awesome. It has a clever travel lock feature activated by long-pressing the power button that I’ve not seen on other shavers—a clever engineering solution. It also has an honest-to-goodness numeric power indicator not typically found on shavers in this price range. It seems very energy efficient; it came fully charged and a full shave only reduced the charge from 100% to 96%. (My main shaver usually eats up twice that amount of charge.) The motor is 7500 RPM, about the range of most entry-level shavers yet it somehow shaves as close as my 13,000 RPM shaver, which is much, much louder. This little guy is so quiet, just a dull hum as it does its thing. So. It shaves very close and comfortably; it has a beautiful and functional modern minimalist design, is waterproof, is quiet, has great battery efficiency, has an electronic travel lock feature, has a numeric power indicator, and has a fast 1-1/2-hour charge time. It’s also very affordable. What’s the catch? Well, foils and cutters dull over time. Most foils must be replaced yearly, while cutters last a bit longer, requiring replacement on my Panasonic every two years. I see nowhere to order replacement foils and cutters for this unit. If replacement foil and cutters are not available for purchase, then you’re left with two alternatives. One is to relegate this to an occasional-use travel shaver. That should extend the life of the shaver for years to come. The other is to use this electric shaver daily until the foil gets dull and simply buy another complete unit, as just the replacement cutter/foil combination for my Panasonic is actually around $10 more expensive than the retail price for this shaver. I am highly impressed with this product. I think I’ll use this as my main shaver, save the product to my “Wishlist,” and decide if I want to go back to my Panasonic or just buy another one of these Jukoyries when the foil dulls. And if the manufacturer is listening? Kudos on a great, thoughtfully engineered, and reasonably priced product. Please try to get replacement foils and cutters out there for purchase for this unit. I really think you designed something special in this space. Very highly recommended from a longtime electric shaver user.

From a Norelco User: Extremely Impressed!

I’ve used electric shavers for decades – the thickness of my whiskers is such that any cartridge razor just gets jammed up almost instantly so I switched to electric decades ago. I originally chose and have stuck with Norelco – I always thought the ‘floating heads’ were logical.I thought I’d try this out as a cheap travel razor, didn’t really care if it worked super well but figured it would be better than having to take my bulky Norelco with me.After shaving with this for a couple of days all I can say is Wow! Very impressed!Pros:+ Shaves very well. This is the most important and honestly surprising part. I feel it shaved as close as my Norelco (albeit that shaver’s heads are over a year old). But this razor shaves very well. To get a good shave I’ll be honest it took a bit longer and was a bit more awkward than the Norelco (those 3 floating heads do their job well). But this is small and flexible enough to get into all the places on my face/neck that I needed to get to.+ Very professional appearance and functionality.+ Has a safety on/off feature (hold ‘on’ for 3 seconds) so it doesn’t accidentally get turned on when traveling. Very nice! Once you disable it, you can turn on/off the razor by simply pressing the power button. Or hold it for 3 seconds (with a welcome count-down feedback showing) to re-lock the shaver.+ Great feedback via the hidden LED display on the front: shows battery life left, lock status, and activity (charging or running).+ perfect size and weight for travel. Closes up into a nice well-finished almost soap-bar shape. Fits in my small toiletries bag perfectly. My Norelco always had to be in my suit-case/carry-on in its own bag.+ Battery life appears good. I say ‘appears’ since I’ve only used this for a couple of days but after 2 shaves it’s down from 100% to 96%. True battery life is tested after months of use.+ USB C charging. Major win! With the Norelco I have to take proprietary cord along if I think I’ll need to charge it.+ Waterproof. I didn’t test (other than cleaning) that but it’s good to know it’s there.+ Easy to clean – just pop off the top and brush off with the (included) brush or simply run it under the faucet.+ Really good value: ~$30 at time of review. Replacement Norelco shaving heads cost that much lol.Cons:Really nothing notable. Slightly noisier than the Norelco and you feel motor vibration a bit more but that’s minor. That’s about it.Like most electric devices these days, the battery is not replaceable so when it dies so does the shaver. But that’s just like my Norelco so no negatives there.Overall – this far exceeded my expectations. Absolutely 5 stars.

No, thanks unless you like torture

Did not like this one at first it seemed like it was shaving nice and close, but then it definitely left a razor burn like you wouldn’t believe like a rash and sometimes it actually hurt to shape with it. I would not recommend this to my enemy. sorry to say, but you’re not a fan of this one ouch.

Great travel shaver

Pros:- Mini and compact. Great for travel.- USB charging also makes it great for travel.- Design is similar to my Panasonic electric shaver. And it performs just as well.- Digital display to show charging percentage.- Can lock the unit so it is resistant to turning on by itself (although not foolproof)- IPX7 rated so it should be able to be submerged up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. Which means it should be good as a wet shaver. And even in the shower as long as you don’t spray water directly onto it using a high-pressure setting.- Noise level on par with my current shaver.- Single button use, so it is very easy to use.- Comes with cable and a little brush for cleaning.- Packaging is very well done, similar to a high-quality product. The box closes with magnets. Due to this it is a very giftable product.- Very affordable and good value for the money.Cons:- Material is plastic and it does feel a little cheap. But this could be to reduce weight for portability.- Case is shiny and a fingerprint magnet.- Not sure if replacement blades will be made available. It is very similar in design to my Panasonic, but not sure if the blades will fit. It would be awesome if it does and would be a huge pro.In conclusion. I love this guy. I no longer need to take my huge shaver while traveling. I will mention that I do not grow thick facial hair and I shave consistently while the hair is still relatively short. So, this works very well for me. But not sure how well it will work for people that thicker or longer facial hair.
