    Smells Amazing!!!

    I was looking for a sulfate-free shampoo for awhile. I’m not sure I buy into the claims that this helps grow your hair. I do think it’s volumizing though because it doesn’t seem to weigh the hair down at all. Sometimes sulfate-free shampoos don’t seem to get my hair all the way clean or rinse out the best, this one cleaned very well. I also LOVE the smell of this shampoo. The only thing I would suggest they change is to put the directions on the bottle. Instead it tells you to read the insert in the box it comes in. They are pretty standard directions, I’m not sure why you wouldn’t just put them on the bottle. All in all I would recommend this for how clean rinsing and great smelling this is. I just don’t know that I’d put much stock in the “thinning hair” labels.

    Foam well, but the smell gave me a headache

    ‘I like that the foltene shampoo is silicone and sulfate free, so it doesn’t feel like I’m harming my hair when I’m using it. After using this shampoo twice, my hair itself feels clean, but I still notice residual dandruff on my hair which required a second wash, which I found disappointing. The amount of hair-loss was about the same, so I haven’t seen a difference yet. What I do like is that this shampoo foams really well. I used only a small amount, but was still able foam up the shampoo in my hands before applying it onto my hair. The shampoo smells OK. If I’m being honest, the initial smell out the bottle reminds me of sweet candy, but the residual smell after it dries, reminds me of the hand soap in public restrooms – the kind that lingers, which is not pleasant and ended up giving me a headache. Overall, I like the shampoo since it seems to clean my hair well, but the scent and size, and the price point, I don’t think this is worth it.

    I am reviewing: Foltene Strengthening Shampoo for Women’s Thinning Hair – Thickening Growth Therapy – Volumizing Boost Treatment – Silicone & Sulfate Free -Regrowth & Anti Loss Formula – 6.76 Fl.ozI can’t speak as to the strengthening qualities yet, but this shampoo does a very nice job on making my hair feel soft and controllable. The scent is super nice. It doesn’t take a lot to create a creamy lather.Two days later and my hair still feels extra nice, enough to be noticeable. Great shampoo.

    Very nice product.

    I will rarely use the same shampoo until it’s gone or every time I wash my hair. I noticed years ago that my hair looked and felt better when I used the products on rotation, so that’s what I did with this. Because of that, I can’t really attest to the claim that this will make your hair thicker. I will share what I did notice though…The product arrived quick. The flip top nozzle was sealed shut with a piece of plastic that you have to pull out before use. I’ve never seen a shampoo with this kind of safeguard, but I definitely appreciate it. The generous sized tube is easy to squeeze and the cap is easy to open/close.The product itself is completely translucent and clear. On my thickness scale (1 being water and 10 being a rich body butter) I would give this a 5. It’s thick enough where it isn’t hard to manage or falls through your fingers in the shower, yet not so thick that it’s difficult to work through the hair evenly. It has a delightful scent that reminds me of fruit mixed with a hint of bubble gum. I actually love the scent, which is odd for me (I get migranes triggered by fragrance a lot) . It’s lively and fresh, light and plesant. I just wish more of the scent stayed on my hair.This works into a very nice lather that’s full of bubbles. It doesn’t have any type of tingle properties, but maybe due to the scent, it is quite invigorating.The product rinses out well, and isn’t one of the shampoos that takes forever to wash out. When it is rinsed (pre conditioner), my hair doesn’t feel terribly snarly or dry.I have noticed that when I use this, I don’t have as much fall out, either in the shower or when I’m blow drying my hair, so this does deliver there. This is also a really great cleanser all around. This is a great cleanser too, that gets my 2-3 day unwashed hair nice and clean. It’s not as effective as a clarifying shampoo at removing product build up, but it does clean my scalp well, including all gross oils, without stripping.I love how my hair looks and feels after using this. It has incredible shine, a good amount of body (this isn’t heavy at all) and it doesn’t kill or dull my color. My fine strands also feel a bit more fortified, stronger, and that is also evident because I don’t have nearly as much breakage as I usually do.This is a very nice shampoo that is gentle, plesant to use and delivers on most of it’s claims. I do think it’s on the expensive side, priced as a premium/professional product, and I feel like, despite the quality, that’s just a bit too expensive for what it is. If it were to go on sale, I would probably pick it up again though.

    I like the shampoo, it isn’t bad, it didn’t stop shedding though. I noticed that it does not create foam which’s exactly what I like to have when I massage the shampoo even if I wash my hair 3 times, the foam isn’t ideal. I did not see the difference between this shampoo and the other cleansing brand but maybe it is only my experience because I have oily scalp.

    Fresh and clean scent!

    I prefer using sulfate free shampoos because they help retain moisture by not stripping out the natural oils in your hair. This Foltene Strengthening Shampoo is one of the better ones that I’ve tried. I really like the scent which is a sweet blend of tropical, flowery, and fruity. It leaves my hair feeling soft and visibly healthier than other shampoos I’ve used. The instructions are not printed on the shampoo tube. Instead, there is 10 page pamphlet included and it also covers various other products, in a variety of languages. It took me a bit of time to locate the instructions for this particular product…only to find out that they are no different than any other shampoo. Not sure why they aren’t just printed on the tube for convenience. It’s a bit pricy, but I’m happy with the quality.
