Cheap and I don’t expect much from it
I was disappointed with this IPL hair removal device. Right out of the box, it feels cheaply made and doesn’t give me much confidence that it will provide effective or lasting results.While it does have five energy levels and a cooling function, the overall quality just isn’t what I expected from a device intended for repeated at-home hair removal treatments. Based on the construction and feel of the unit, I’m not optimistic about its performance or longevity.For something that requires consistent use over time, I would rather spend more on a device that feels better made and more dependable.Unfortunately, this one just doesn’t impress me, and I wouldn’t recommend it.

Easy to Use With a Nice Cooling Feature
I’ve really been enjoying this IPL hair removal device so far. It’s easy to use at home and having five energy levels makes it nice to be able to adjust the intensity depending on the area I’m treating. The cooling function is my favorite feature because it helps make the treatment feel more comfortable, especially on more sensitive areas. The device is lightweight and easy to handle, and the controls are straightforward. I like being able to do my treatments at home instead of having to schedule appointments. Overall, a convenient option for anyone looking to add IPL treatments to their at-home beauty routine.

The next level in hair removal.
Ive been watching a lot of videos on IPL hair removal because this process can be a bit daunting. While the flashing and cracking can be scary, it’s generally safe for use. It’s very important to read the directions although they are poorly translated so I recommend watching a few online videos on the process so you are more familiar and comfortable using the device.That being said, this is not an immediate process and complete permanent hair removal takes weeks and months over time. So I will be returning to update this in a couple months.The unit has multiple settings of intensity for arms/legs, bikini line, face. I’m looking to use it primarily for facial hair removal around the chin & lip so that will be my review focus.

Pigmented Hair Only – Not for Light Hair
JANSILIX Freezing Point IPL Hair Removal Device Model W-1095 – At-Home IPL Hair Remover with 5 Energy Levels and Cooling Function for Face, Arms, Legs & Bikini Area – For Women & MenPriced at $63.75 at the time of this review.Works for pigmentated (darker hair), it may not work on lighter hair (-1 Star). Everything shown in the product description was included. The power button is on the side, not the big round button in the middle. This confused me at first, but after I figured this out I was able to follow the operating procedures. This gives a very bright flash of light, not good for eyes, be sure to wear the included sunglasses, and stay away from the eye area. I am 60, so most of my hair is coming in light, non-pigmented, but I still have stubborn coarse dark hairs that I’m hoping to keep at bay. I’m trying this on my chin hairs first, but it will take time to document real results. It flashes bright, really bright, even with the sunglasses you can see it flash, it’s hard to explain, but almost like it’s coursing through your skin. It’s a small electric sting, then immediately cooling. I hope this works, I’m really tired of those rogue chin hairs, lol.

Cheap, effective, painless
After about three weeks, I’m starting to notice the difference. The Peltier cooler on the tip really seems to work: it gets cold while your skin gets hot. There is an automatic mode which takes about two seconds to charge up the capacitor and then it fires the lamp and it continues. Or you can use a manual mode where you press the button every time you want it to fire, but of course you would have to wait for two seconds. It also seems to recognize when it is up against the skin and it doesn’t fire when it’s away from the skin. It’s been a fairly painless procedure for me and I highly recommend it. It also cost a fraction of the other products.The only downside is that the snapping of the discharge is quite loud, and I wasn’t ready for that and even in a bright room with the glasses, you definitely noticed the bright flash.

Good package, but had mechanical issue and couldn’t complete Vine review
The unit is nicely packaged and looks like a nice unit. I have a daughter that was very eager to try it out. Unfortunately, there’s an issue with the one we got and it will not take charge. I thought perhaps the included USB charging wire might have been kinked, thereby damaged and unable to charge. I have many items with USB charging setup, and found one that fit. But…after 90 minutes there was zero movement on the charging status. So, we can’t review this item. I gave it a 3-star because it does seem like it has potential. It’s a lightweight, attractive item, and has useful accessories. But as a Vine item it’s difficult and often impossible to get a replacement for defective items. This does happen, and it’s rare to get a lemon. Hopefully other Vine testers/reviewers can provide detailed reviews in very near future.

Very Basic IPL Device
This is essentially an entry level IPL device and the price matches that category. If you have the right hair / skin type, this may work okay. Basically the lighter your skin and the dark the hair the better results you’ll have. Main issue is that this tops out at 14j (joules) where top end units cap out around 21-26j. This means you’ll need more sessions to see results (and the aforementioned matching skin / hair). I’m giving this 4-stars because it presents itself as more powerful than it is, but it is priced well (hence not 3-stars).
