This FUYA Repair Essentials Hair Mask – Hair Mask for Damaged Hair, Deep Conditioning Hair Mask, Scalp Exfoliating and Hydration for Healthier Hair and Scalp, Leaves Hair Feeling Soft, by Hair Experts is a pretty concentrated and effective hair mask, with a mild, not overwhelming scent. It is a the pricey at $20 for 8 oz, and does not come with any instructions. However, with any hair mask, I like to leave it on wet hair in a cap for at least 30 minutes. I find that it does soften my hair pretty well.

I’d like to think I’m smart enough to know what a hair mask is and how I should use it. Maybe I am. Maybe I’m not. I can’t read minds, though, and there are no instructions on the bottle. My first attempt: I thought I’d try this as a leave-in conditioner. That was a bad idea… way too greasy. Then I tried it as a leave-in-for-a-while-and-then-rinse. It seemed like that should be a better idea, but I still needed to wash out the excess grease. Ultimately I decided this works best as a body lotion or body cream. It’s heavily perfumed and is reminiscent of a popular B&BW scent, although I can’t figure out which and I don’t have any in the house to compare. It’s a clean, feminine perfume smell with no food (like vanilla or fruit). And it even comes in the same type of tube. I’m glad I found another use for it but it’s disappointing I cannot use it as intended.

nice mask – no instructions
With no instructions on this I just kinda made up my own. I haven’t done a repair mask in a long time so I used about 4-6 quarter size gobs and put through my hair (I have long hair – about mid back, medium thickness) and let it sit overnight. I didn’t wrap it our pin it and it didn’t leave anything on my pillowcase.I then rinsed in the shower and detangled. I let it air dry.It seems to have helped – my hair is a bit smoother and I actually liked the smell. Even my co-workers said my hair smelled great and looked good. I normally wear it up in a bun to get it out of the way and on the occasional day I wear it down, people comment.Price point is a bit high comparable to other hair mask treatments and with my hair and the amount I need to use, this tube isn’t going to last very long. Still a nice treatment

Lovely texture and lovely results
As a curly hair girl, moisture is your best friend. Moisture is what defines your curls and makes them bounce. Masks, conditioners, and oils are something I use daily and I’m always looking for better options. I decided to try this mask and I’m so glad I did. My curls have never looked so good. I use the mask as a half leave-in half rinse out conditioner. It creates lots of slip and makes my curls so beautiful. You can just tell how well made it is by the feel of it on your hands and on your hair. This mask is good to become a staple in my curly routine.

Smells like an overpowering men’s cologne
This FUYA Repair Essentials Hair Mask was a no-go for me as soon as I took the protective foil off the top of the tube. The smell was so strong, reminiscent of men’s cologne. The texture was thick and creamy so it probably made for a nice conditioner but I couldn’t get past the smell. There were also no instructions on how to use the product. Probably good for men, but too strong for this woman.

Very moisturizing, great for multiple hair types, the smell is spa like
I recently ordered this because my hair has been feeling a bit dry lately. This added SO much moisture to my hair after using it and my hair feels so soft. It also smells incredible, it felt like self-care just to smell it in my hair. I have straight, thin, long, and fine hair and I found that it gave me that extra shine and moisture that I needed. I also had my sister in law try it when she was over as she has fine, brittle, curly hair just to see how it would work with her hair type and she absolutely loved it. She found that it helped her curls stay curlier and gave her hair a stronger and more conditioned feeling. We both applied it to just our ends about halfway up and not our roots for about 5 minutes. So far no complaints!

Makes Hair Soft and Manageable
This hair mask is really good at replenishing the moisture in your hair. It leaves it soft and smooth, and my hair feels strong after using it as well. I’ve been using it every few washes and it seems like that is a good frequency for use. More often than that and it leaves your hair pretty weighed down. I also tend to not put it directly on my scalp because I’m greasy and don’t need any additional oil. Putting it on the middle and ends seems to do the trick at leaving it soft and bouncy. I’m happy with this product and will continue using it for the foreseeable future.
