My mom tried it who has fine, thin, straight hair and it was TERRIBLE, heavy and stringy!!!!!! It’s not light weight but for some reason gives lots of body and definition to limp non-defined curls!!! When I use this product my roots are not flat and have curl in them even when I let my hair air dry, which I’ve never been able to do before and have it look good. My hair is VERY long so the weight of it usually makes it look straight and flat at the roots unless I blow it dry and use lots of different products and clips and stuff. With this stuff I put it in and let it go…or if I dry it I will put a little gel for hold in on top of this stuff and it comes out beautifully every time!!! I have 3a & 3b curls for reference.It also doesn’t make my dandruff (seborrhoeic dermatitis) flair up, which is rare for a conditioning product that touches my scalp!!!Took off 1 star because it doesn’t seem to work in fine, thin, straight hair. I also think this should be thought of as more of a styling product because it has so much effect on your hair after application to be only thought of as a leave-in conditioner!Best wishes

I had already been using the Garnier Whole Blends Legendary Olive after-shampoo conditioner for a few months and I truly love it. Apparently none of the stores I frequent carry the leave-in conditioner, so I didn’t know it existed until I saw a YouTube review of the product. Based on the review, and on my wonderful experience with the rinse-out conditioner, I ordered one immediately and I have not been disappointed. I’m transitioning from chemically straightened hair back to my natural curl pattern. This is an extremely trying process and I wouldn’t even attempt it without a leave-in conditioner. I have tried a couple of other brands but my hair seems to drink in this particular line. My hair is instantly softened and manageable and the product smells wonderful! It has reduced breakage and it cuts down the amount of time it takes to style my hair. I can part my hair into sections without hearing it snap, crackle and pop. As far as I can tell, it contains no sulfates, silicones, parabens, or other ingredients that curly girls (or guys) want to stay away from. WARNING: This leave-in conditioner is extremely thick and creamy. I recommend it be applied to soaking wet hair. In fact, I put it in my hair before I even get out of the shower. This may prevent the stickiness some of the other reviewers mention.

Great leave in for my low porosity, 4a hair. It’s a creamy consistency but not thick at all. There is a scent but it’s pretty light so not bothersome at all. Will order more when I run out.

I have to be honest… I got this after reading a celebrity interview who said this was the drugstore brand and type she preferred. She was talking about shampoo and conditioner and how it kept her hair nicely moisturized. I almost NEVER pay attention to celebrities touting products but this time, since it was garnier, why not? Amazon didnt have the shampoo and conditioner both in stock so I tried this leave in conditioner. I put it on my ends of my super dry hair and went to bed. I awoke to the most amazing softness! It wasnt too heavy and didn’t weigh my thin hair down, I didnt wake up to greasy looking hair. I am SOLD! I texted my mom and sister, and then my mom turned around and bought it too!

Good choice for curly haired girl
It’s a good silicone free leave in conditioner which are difficult to find in Indian market. I have an oily scalp and thin hair density with frizz and curls so this works best for me. No need to use any gel also after using this product as it enhances my curls naturally. Also, it doesn’t pull my hair down which is the case with most of the conditioners which are too moisturising.Remember to clarify your hair twice a month with a silicone free shampoo but it should have sulfate and henceforth you can see both silicone and sulfate free shampoo for this product to work.
