    YES!

    I like the quality on this one. A similar category of hydrating socks comes as a silicon version, and that’s not good for the skin. The built-in gel layer is what sets them apart. It locks in moisture so well, and after just a few uses, I noticed a big improvement in the texture of my heels. They’re way less dry and cracked, and my feet look and feel noticeably smoother. They’re infused with natural oils like jojoba, olive, rose oil, and vitamin E, so they smell pleasant. I like that the extended cuff gives a little extra support around the ankle, which helps keep them from slipping off during the night.

    Worked exactly as posted!!Happy and exciting to hopefully not have awful rough feet this summer.

    I was finally able to use my socks last night and all is the quality great. They were very comfortable when using make sure you don’t walk with them on because I almost had an accident following it gets very smushy inside the socks. Size was a little tight but it fit I am a size 10 or 11 in women. It held all the moisture in very well along with the lotion that soaked into my feet. They didn’t have any smell to them, none that I noticed. I’m not 100% yet on washable because I just used last night but I’m not going to do anything but wash by hand. Throwing in washer may ruin the socks with the rubber feeling inside.

    In the online product description, these socks are described as, “made of high-quality pure cotton.” However, the package insert that comes with the socks states they are a cotton-poly blend. They are very stretchy, so I am sure they must have spandex, too.The socks have a silicone lining throughout the interior, with the exception of a 2″ border at the cuff, which has no lining.The description says the silicone has been Infused with “natural nourishing ingredients like olive oil, jojoba oil, vitamin E, and rose oil.” When I rub the lining with my fingers, no residue comes off. The lining does have a very faint fragrance. I’m sensitive to fragrances, but this one is very light and not bothersome.The silicone lining makes the socks very heavy. It does a good job of keeping my feet moisturised, though. I moisturised my feet with lotion before putting on the socks. The silicone creates an occlusive barrier. If you have sweaty feet, these socks might be too unbreathable for you.I don’t think you’re supposed to machine wash these socks. The package insert says to turn the socks inside out and wash the gel lining with soap and water. But what about the outside of the socks? I’m sure the sole gets dirty and needs washing, too. I haven’t put these in the washing machine, so I can’t report on what happens to them if they go through a washing machine cycle.The sock cuffs are quite tight. When I take off the socks, they leave a track on my calves where the binding was at the top of the sock’s cuffs.Verdict:I’m giving these 4 stars instead of 5, because they aren’t machine washable, and also because the cuffs are tight. Otherwise, they’re fine, though maybe if you need breathable socks, these wouldn’t be for you.

    Good moisturizing socks, with a few caveats

    Having previously tried moisturizing heel socks with good results, I was quite happy to try these socks as they moisturize your entire foot. My feet are quite dry everywhere, not just the heels, so having a product that covers more surface area is great.I recommend putting a pretty heavy amount of moisturizer on your feet (I use a thick cream meant for cracked heels), then massaging the cream in once you put the socks on. The socks feel kind of squishy and weird at first, and they are very precarious to walk in, but if you’re wearing them to bed that shouldn’t be an issue.I wore mine to bed and my feet were noticeably softer the next morning. The gel layer of the socks holds in all of the moisturizer to your feet so it penetrates the skin deeply. It also prevents any cream from seeping out and staining your sheets or bedding which is an added bonus.The main issues I have with these is that the cuff at the top is a little tight, not so much that it’s unwearable, but I did need to push it a bit lower on my ankle to make it more comfortable. The other issue is, though they are easy to wash, they cannot be put in the dryer (for obvious reasons) and take quite a while to dry. If you were intending to wear them every night, you definitely couldn’t wash them after every wear. Turning them inside out and giving the gel a wipe down with a damp cloth works ok if you want to get 2-3 uses out of them before having to wash them.My other issue is the price. Regardless of quality (and, to be fair, these are of good quality), socks are still just socks. The current price of $39.99 is pretty steep, considering I’ve seen other gel socks sold in multipacks for half that price. Those might be of lesser quality, but I don’t think the increase in quality of these socks is quite worth the price. In my opinion, $25 would be closer to a reasonable price for a pair (or they should include 2 pairs for the current price).I would still recommend these socks though, if the price isn’t an issue for you, as they absolutely do what is advertised and will work wonders to moisturize your feet.

    Works but too warm for summer

    These gel socks definitely work for softening dry, cracked feet, and I noticed a difference after using them. The gel lining holds in moisture really well, and if you pair them with a thick foot cream, they work even better. I think the best way to use them is overnight so they have plenty of time to work their magic, but that’s where the problem comes in during the summer – they get way too warm. I couldn’t even keep them on for 15 minutes without my feet feeling hot and uncomfortable. In cooler months, I can see these being perfect for keeping feet soft and smooth, but for hot weather, they’re just not practical to wear for long.

    These socks are quite unique. Haven’t seen anything like it before. They are a bit heavier that regular socks. The material outside is just like regular socks. The inside is coated with a lining of gel like material. Once you shower and dry off you apply your lotion to the inside of the sock and squish it around. Once you put on the sock just massage it around your feet. You will feel wherever there is lotion it is squishy. Then your feel feel soft and cozy you forget about it. The instructions say leave it for 15-30 mins. Well I forgot and fell asleep for a few hours. When I eventually took them off I just rubbed any excess lotion back onto my feet and leg. Boy what a difference this makes. My rough feet feel so soft and well moisturized now.Be sure once you put the socks on to sit or lay down with it. I don’t suggest walking around, especially on smooth floors like tile or hardwood, because it will be slippery and you may end up with a detour to the nearest hospital.This even came with a nice drawstring pouch to keep the socks in.

    Not a one size fits all

    I’ve been having some pretty dry heels and I thought these socks might be the solution. I have a size 10 foot and I found it very difficult to wedge my foot into these rubbery lined socks. Once I did get my feet into the socks it was pretty uncomfortable and I didn’t like having my feet in the rubberized lined sock. Obviously in order to keep your moisturizer on your feet and there is no breathing room.My next problem came and trying to figure out how to wash these things. Of course you can just manually wash the outside of it, but it’s an awkward situation and this is something you would have to consider when purchasing.Plus side men packaging with a string bag to keep them together.
