    This is a review for “CC Nail Editor | Brightening & Color Correcting Nail Treatment, Non-Toxic, 82% Natural Origin, Vegan, Cruelty-Free | Neutralizes Yellow Tones with a Sheer Lilac Tint, (0.5 fl oz)” by Gitti.I was eager to review this CC polish. I like that it is free of many concerning chemicals, and I like using sheer shades on my nails sometimes. My usual favorite polish is easy to find in local drug stores for around $10 per bottle, it’s long wearing, and 15 free, but this Gitti polish offers such a sheer purple glaze tint that I really wanted to give it a try.I applied 2 coats of this polish to my bare nails a few days ago, with no prep other than making sure to wash my hands first. I didn’t use any base coat or top coat, as I like to see how only the polish performs alone. I am pleasantly surprised to find that over the past three days with plenty of dish washing and caring for chickens, etc, it’s still intact on the with very minimal chipping only around the tips of the nails on my dominant hand. If I use it with better prep, base, and top coat, I expect this polish could be longer wearing than my usual favorite. Honestly, nearly every other polish I’ve tried (aside from my usual fave) begins peeling or chipping within a day. So I would say this Gitti CC polish is some very tough stuff.I really like the sheer lilac color. I didn’t have a strong yellow tint to my nails to be corrected, so I think the lilac is a little more noticeable on my nails. However it is very sheer and subtle. There is a slight perlescent/opal-like effect that I see when the light hits it at certain angles. I like that sort of thing, but it might not be everyone’s preference.Overall I think that this is an excellent, unique polish. The price point is higher at $20 than I typically spend for nail polish. However I feel that if someone is looking for this exact shade, the formula is so durable, the bottle is pleasant, the brush is well made and easy to use that it seems like it is a fair asking price for this bottle of nail polish.

    Subtle Lilac Tint That Brightens Nails

    I was curious about this because I wanted something that would make my natural nails look healthier without looking like I was wearing a full coat of polish, and this does exactly that. The sheer lilac tint subtly brightens my nails and helps tone down any yellowing, while the soft pearlescent finish catches the light in a really pretty, understated way. It’s definitely a “your nails but better” look rather than an opaque color, so if you want more of the lilac tone you’ll probably need two or three coats.The formula goes on smoothly, dries fairly quickly, and the brush makes it easy to get an even application. I also appreciate that it’s vegan, cruelty-free, and made with mostly natural-origin ingredients. It held up well for me with only minor wear after several days, which was a pleasant surprise for a treatment-style polish. The only downside is the price, since it’s more expensive than many traditional nail polishes, but the unique finish and nice formula help justify the cost if you’re looking for this specific effect. Overall, it’s a great option when I want my nails to look fresh, polished, and healthy without wearing a bold color.

    pretty sheer pink tint for a natural look

    I really like how subtle this polish is. It has an almost sheer finish with just a slight pink tint, so it adds a tiny bit of color while making my nails look cleaner and more polished without being too noticeable.It goes on smoothly and is easy to apply, and the sheerness is especially nice because you don’t really notice if you make a small mistake while applying it. Since it’s summer and I’m using my hands more, I was pleasantly surprised that I’ve gotten about four days of wear without any chips. It’s a great option when you want your nails to look nice and put together without a bold color.

    Cute nail polish

    I have a few nail polishes from Gitti and they’re all really nice. Their whole thing is that their nail polishes have a wellness-bend to them, which honestly, I’m not really sure how accurate that is, but branding is branding. This one says it color corrects and brightens your nails. Purple does cancel out yellow, so I’d imagine it would do some of that, but your nails still will look purple with this on. It’s very sheer, but builds well and has a gorgeous finish. It has some small bits of glitter in it but it creates this very pretty opalescent effect on the nails. Very pretty polish. That being said, I do think it’s a bit expensive for what it is. This is double the price of a lot of very good indie polish brands and triple the price of drug store brands. But if you’re looking for the perfect sheer lilac opalescent, then that may be worth it to you.

    I’ve tried quite a few products from Gitti, and they’ve consistently been excellent; this brand has easily become my go-to for nail polish. I really appreciate that their formulas are vegan, cruelty-free, and free from the harsh chemicals you often find in other brands.The Gitti Nail Editor applies beautifully. The formula is smooth and easy to work with, and it gives great coverage. I can get an opaque finish with just one coat, although I usually apply two to make it look extra polished and even. The wide brush makes application quick and effortless, helping to cover the nail evenly without streaks.What I love most about this nail correcting treatment is the subtle shimmery lilac tint. It adds such a soft, pretty glow to the nails while still functioning as a treatment, so your nails not only look healthier but also more polished and put-together. It’s perfect for a clean, natural look with a little extra shine.Another big plus is that there’s no strong chemical smell when you open the bottle, which makes the whole experience much more pleasant. It also wears well and lasts a long time without chipping easily.Overall, this is a beautiful and effective product that combines nail care with a polished look.

    This CC Nail editor nail polish by Gitti is so beautiful! I cannot say enough good things!!First, in case you didn’t know the brand, they make the polish cruelty free (PETA certified), non toxic, plant based, vegan, and use recycled packaging.The polish itself looks so high end with a stunning soft, cool toned elevated finish. It’s meant to smooth out uneven tones while correcting and brightening the look of your nails, but still leave a somewhat natural sheer finish.It goes on very smooth with a wide brush to apply and settles perfectly for a no streak look. I mean literally perfectly – you do not have to be a pro to use this polish- it does all the work for you. One coat evens tone, two coats gives a slightly more opaque look but is still quite sheer. Take a look at my photo showing natural nail, one coat and two coats for reference.It lasts for days on. Also if you hate strong chemical smelling polish, you will appreciate this one as it’s not bothersome AT ALL. And it dries quickly all on its own! (No having to use lights or silly ice water).I love love love this polish!!!! Highly recommend!!!

    A pretty sheer tint, but pricey

    Attached photo is after two coats.I thought this was just okay at first, but I was actually surprised by how much I liked the sheer lilac color. It’s subtle enough that my nails still look natural, but it gives them a brighter, more polished appearance.It applies easily and I like the way it makes my nails look without having to commit to an actual manicure. I can’t say I noticed a huge difference in the yellow tones of my nails, but I did like the overall effect.My biggest issue is the price. At $23, I think it’s pretty expensive for what it is. It’s a nice nail treatment and I would use it again, but I’d be more inclined to repurchase if it were a little more affordable.

    great color and is very buildable

    Gitti is my new favorite nail treatment which doubles as a polish. My nails are never yellow anymore even with colors like red on for a week. This one seemed to be more of a top coat to give off a glimmery sheen but I decided to use it alone as a light sheer nail, great to start off a summer weekend. It goes on as thick or as thin as you like. The brush works well with you if you know how to play with bristles to stay in the lines and pull the polish around. I only ever have to do light touchups around my nail beds to clean up. I love how you can layer up to get a more opaque look from a very sheer looking formula like this one. Gitti is just great – I have so many colors and forumlas from them. I do a lot of cooking and dish washing at home and I can expect to get 4 solid days out of them before I see minor chipping. Like I said, I love them!
