They will cut it, but you need a bit more pressure and patience compared to heavier duty barber scissors. The GLORY 5 Inch Professional Beard and Mustache Scissors have been great for trimming the occasional unruly beard bits, and for cutting larger areas before using the trimmer when taking down the length. They are plenty sharp, easy to handle, and there’s enough room in the grips for my size large fingers, though if I used the rubber liners, I think it might be a little tight on my thumb. They are very sharp, and I can snip pecise with the tips. As long as I take proper care of them, I think I have scissors for many years. They come with a nice enough case, and could go in a travel kit (on a road trip or in checked luggage) safely. Price is reasonable for the quality.

I don’t wear a full beard, I sport a chin beard. These scissors are the perfect size for trimming my beard. They are slim and have pointed blades that are perfect for trimming stray hairs. These are sharp and cut well. If you wear a full beard these aren’t going to be the best option. However if you like me wear a goatee style beard these are a good buy for the money.
