Excellent Lighting for Craft Tables and Detailed Work
This lamp has been a fantastic addition to my workspace. I spend a lot of time doing coloring projects and diamond art, and good lighting makes a huge difference. This light provides a wide, bright spread that helps illuminate the entire work area instead of just one small spot on the desk.The brightness is impressive and very helpful when working with tiny details. It makes it much easier to see the colors and small pieces clearly without straining my eyes. The different lighting modes are also nice because you can switch between warmer and cooler tones depending on what feels most comfortable.One thing that really surprised me was the size. When I ordered it, I was expecting a fairly compact desk lamp, but it turned out to be much larger than I anticipated. Bright Enough to Expose Every Flaw and Somehow Make That Helpful
This desk lamp is impressive. It puts out a lot of light, looks good, and feels like a genuine upgrade for a workspace rather than just a lamp-shaped object taking up room. The half-moon design gives broad, even lighting, which is especially nice for detailed work like soldering, crafts, studio tasks, reading, or any project where you want to actually see what you are doing instead of squinting and improvising.The adjustable color temperature is a big plus, and the high CRI makes the light feel more accurate and useful rather than weirdly washed out. Not just for nail techs 🙂
I purchased this for my husband, who, surprisingly, is not a nail technician. He enjoys repairing guitars and amps, and this lamp has been a great solution for improving the lighting at his workbench. This lamp did not disappoint!! I mean just look at her!!
This desk lamp added the pop of modern that I was looking for on my nail desk! It’s such a good lamp! I use it for doing nails, doing homework, my daughter does her homework under it, my husband uses it to shave .. extremely versatile!This light is pretty darn sturdy! It holds onto your table at both ends or you can just have it resting on top of your table! It has several different colors of light and then it’s also dimmable on each! Super easy to adjust and move it to where you want it to be! It’s adjustable, it’s bright, it’s cute and modern, it’s a great price, the perfect size to be able to see everything in front of you and then some, and beat of all its foldable!!! So easy to fold up and put away when it’s not in use! This is huge because my last lamp was legit clamped down to the desk and you had to use a screwdriver to get it off 😅 it was constantly in my way when it wasn’t in use.. ugggh this one is great.

The lighting is very good, but the build quality is only ok
This desk lamp really is good for detail work, but the build does not not inspire confidence.Take note of the measurements, the box is pretty big because the light is that long. It has good packing though. Inside are the light folded up, the power supply, the feet and instructions, which you don’t really need — it’s simple to use. The only unexpected thing is the hinge for the arm allows for multiple positions but it only makes sense at 90 degrees. The feet just clip in. It’s a little tippy but not bad for something this size.Once it’s set up and plugged in, the controls are equally basic. There’s an on/off wheel which is the dimmer, and a button for warm light, cool light or combined which is both. Combined is the brightest setting and it’s nice and bright.I have several pics of the light in action and it works well. No shadows, plenty bright and it’s perfect for seeing fine details. It does get notably warm on the highest setting, but not hot enough to burn. Because of the width, it makes a nice big space to work under. So it does the job quite well. The whole assembly is very light, coming in under 2 lbs. It’s just as easy to pack up and take with you as it is to set up.However, you might not want to take this on the road, as unfortunately, the build quality is not the best. It’s described as ‘made of durable aluminum’; well it is aluminum and the gold color looks good, but it’s lightweight and would easily bend just in your hands if you’re not careful, let alone drop it. I definitely wouldn’t call this safe to toss in a bag and go.Further, as soon as I plugged it in, I immediately had an issue. The power socket is not good. The plug doesn’t seat well and you have to mess with the plug to keep it on. The dimmer switch knob has a good ‘click’ for on off, but is _very_ light and twists easily after max. There’s no getting around calling the knob cheap.So it works well and the light is great, but there is no way this is a “premium build.” The word I would use is ‘fragile.’ I do really like the light so I’m sticking with it but I’m treating it very carefully and am trying to find a spot where I won’t have to move it much. And $50? No way. It works well, but this feels like something from the dollar store; I certainly wouldn’t use this in a commercial setting.
