Amazing product
I’m love with this product. I’ve been using it for about 2 years now. I do it every 6 months give it take, but every time I use it I fell in love with my hair and this product. And the price is something you can’t beat considering the result you get. Last time I ordered I received a bottle that was just about half way full which was very odd, I reached out to the seller and he apologized for the inconvenience and sent me a small bottle for free in compensation for the issue. I have literally spent thousands of dollars on keratin treatments at the salon, and this product gives me the same quality style. I love it and wish I found it sooner. It even comes with detailed instructions on how to apply the product.Some things to note:- The instructions say you need someone else to help you. I’ve been straightening my curls with a flat iron myself for over a decade, so I don’t have trouble doing it myself without help, so don’t let that piece deter you. Obviously, you can’t see the back of your head in a mirror as well as someone else standing behind you, but if you’re confident you can separate your hair and get those hard to reach spots yourself, you’ll get the same result as if another person helped you.- You need a straightener that maintains consistent heat to get consistent results. If your straightener self-regulates and cools down or shuts off, you have to be mindful that your strands aren’t getting the exact intended effect on those sections.- Once you get the heat going, mostly with the blow dryer, this stuff will wreak of chemicals. I’m talking nose burning, eye watering stink. This is normal and is not unusual or a sign you’re doing something wrong. This is what happens in the salon, too. You’re chemically treating your hair! Make sure you’re in a well ventilated area to minimize the smell. I’ve never let the chemical rest on my skin, but it has not burnt my skin in the normal process. Just the eyes and nose sting lol.I highly, highly recommend this stuff. I serially can’t believe that 1. I spent so much money in a salon when this was available to do at home and 2. That this stuff actually works as well as a salon treatment. When I initially bought it, I figured it was worth a try because it pales in comparison to how much a salon costs. I’ve saved so much money and I love how it makes my hair look. I’ll never go back!

Great Hair Care Product
Got me through the pandemic, without too much hair drama. Easy to use, and most importantly, didn’t appear to damage or break my hair. It does take some patience, but doesn’t penalize you for not following all the instructions to the letter, except your hair outcome isn’t as smooth. I do one or two passes with the straightening iron; I don’t have the arm strength – or patience – to do more. Hair still turned out okay. One thing – they say no formaldehyde, but good grief, especially if you’ve used a liberal amount… the FUMES. When blowdrying, not so much when flat ironing. But no joke, those fumes set off my smoke alarm because I wasn’t paying attention. Other than that, it’s pretty great, especially as a DIY option. Recommend!

These products are not for people w curly frizzy hair. Mine curls up and frizzes w the slighted bit of humidity.I don’t wash my hair often. I need to reapply these products often. Formalgalhyde is the only thing that straighten hair. All other are false claims.Formalgalhyde used only occasionally is not at all dangerous. It makes your hair healthy and manageable. None of these products last for months.

I have been doing keratin treatments at a salon for years, at about $180-$220 a session. It’s been a couple years since I have had one, and I decided to give this one a try. I am overall very pleased with the results and it was definitely a lot better on my wallet.I have included photos of before, during, immediately after, after first wash, and after one week. I did not use products, except a heat protectant before blow drying. I will update in a couple more weeks. I did color my hair about 4 days before application, and some of my dark color was pulled into a little red. I am assuming this was mostly from the clarifying shampoo. I would not color my hair until at least 2 weeks after application, and I will probably wait a little longer afterwards next time.While you *can* apply yourself, I strongly recommend having someone help. Especially if you have long or thick hair.The process took my husband and I SIX hours, including washing and drying. We did take some small breaks though. The fumes were absolutely horrible, pretty much the entire process. We did it outside, with masks, and still had to step away a few times. It was very strong.Immediately afterwards, my hair did feel a little greasier than they normally did when I did treatments at a salon. I waited 5 days before washing. Afterwards, it was not greasy at all. My hair has stayed straight and smooth. I would say it took care of about 85% frizziness.During the no wash stage, I used a shower cap when showering. I also sleep on a satin pillow, but a sleep cap would probably be even better. I do believe a good straightener makes all the difference.
