Precision application
This touchup powder is really a great kit, which comes with many types of applicators to apply the powder. My hair is dark blond / light brown, and Brown matched my hair perfectly. You can daub on your crown or use the more precise tool for your temples or hairline. It really lasts, even when you sleep with it in. The kit does come with what seems to be a mirror, but it’s not good enough to see anything. I think I will use a spray for the big patches and this powder for precision cover up and blending. That will have a flawless application. This kit also comes with a powder refill, which makes it a good value.

My hair grows so fast that my roots show after just a few weeks. That is when I use root touch up powder to cover the grey hairs till my next hair appointment. This kit comes with the powder, an enclosed mirror, a sponge applicator and a small combination brush and sponge applicator. First of all, the mirror is so small I can’t imagine anyone using it so just a gimmick. The combination sponge and brush applicator is my favorite because it gives more control in applying the powder. So application was no problem and it stays on the roots in my hair parting until I wash my hair. But the hair framing my face seems to loose the powder after a day. Probably because of face washing etc. I have used powder root touch up before, made by a different brand, and did not have such an issue. So I do think that this powder does not adhere as well. Other than that, the color match is good and it is useful for a quick touch up when needed.

Excellent gray coverage!!
This is my favorite root touch up that I have tried because it actually covers my grays without having to pile on the product. This powder really sticks to my hairline and blends in great. I got a good color match from the brown (I have medium brown/golden hair). The applicator is awesome. I love the sponge side for applying the color and the brush side for blending it to a natural look. I have a bad habit of touching/playing with my hair and I love that this does not rub off on my finger tips. It has great staying power! I also love that this came with a refill making it an excellent value for the price. Excellent value for the price and definitely helps me stretch between coloring visits which saves me even more!!

Nicely pigmented and forgiving when applying.
I am 50 and my hair has thinned. Coupled with fragile hair and unstable weight, I go through periods of shedding also. I saw this and I wanted to see if it would be a good product to use on a daily basis.MY EXPERIENCE WITH THE PRODUCT1. I received Gowwim’s root touch up powder in brown. I appreciate that this comes with a refill.2. It is nicely packaged. I like the container as the bottom part can be unscrewed for a foam applicator that is bigger than the one on the wand.3. At first I was a bit concerned that this may be too light for me, but it applies very nicely after. It matches my hair and scalp nicely. It is pretty pigmented so I try to be a little careful.3. I like the wand because it has both foam and soft brush. I have tried using this around the edges and it blends very well. It is buildable.4. I just practiced a bit and I became better at making it more natural.OVERALL IMPRESSION: I think that this root touch up powder is cost-effective and worth its value because it is nicely pigmented and easy to use. Good for when you have the extra time or if you are going somewhere and you need some support.

Works great for hair and eyebrows
I’m really happy with this root touch-up powder. The color blends naturally into my brown hair and does a great job covering grays along my hairline. I hate dying my hair so this gives me a bit more time in between touch-ups. It goes on quickly, stays put all day, and holds up well even with sweat or humidity.One of my favorite things is how versatile it is; I’ve also been using it to fill in my eyebrows and it works great for that too. The finish looks soft and natural, not harsh or painted on, and the compact makes it easy to toss in a bag for touch-ups.Overall, this is a simple, effective product that does exactly what it promises. Natural looking results
I had been eyeing a product like this for a while and wanted to try it but never took the plunge, so I was really excited to get the chance to use this and I have to say I think it works! Unfortunately I forgot to take a before photo of my hairline, but I did think to take a photo of the half I hadn’t used the product on- so you’ll see in my pictures that I used it on the right side of my hairline. I feel like it did make my hair look fuller and make my scalp seem less visible, without being obvious that I had put powder on there. I was worried it would be very visible and people would be able to tell that I’d powdered my scalp, but surprisingly I think it’s very natural-looking.
