Too soon to tell but pleased so far.

After only using for a few weeks, it is too soon to tell if this product will live up to its claims, but I am pleased so far.I have medium length fine hair that, alas, is thinning from age. I like that my hair looks noticeably shinier and feels soft after using. Lathers well, no feeling heavy, hair does feel fuller. Has very pleasant scent. At first, I found the bottles to be “odd ” and the push caps can be awkward to use. I needed to use both hands to get the conditioner out, as it is thick, and that was difficult with wet hands. Although space is not an issue in my shower, the square bottles are space savers.it is recommended to use 2 or 3 times a week for best results, but I do not wash my hair that often. (I use few products in my hair), so may take longer to see if products live up to their claims. Another thing I do not care for is that makers recommend leaving each product on 3-5 mins, then rinse very thoroughly. (they caution shampoo remaining in hair could cause hair loss). I try to leave shampoo and conditioner on for maximum time, but I do not like staying in the shower for an extra 10 mins.When I finish this shampoo and conditioner, I will have to think hard about purchasing more due to the price.

Difficult to squeeze bottles, great conditioner

The growplex bundle includes a revive shampoo and a replenish conditioner.The shampoo has a minty scent and a cool menthol effect but it is a subtle feeling. The minty scent rinses out completely.It is a gentle clean; it wont dry out or strip hair even after a double cleanse. However I wouldn’t say this is color safe, I find it does lift my semi permanent hair gloss but not as much as a regular sulfate shampoo.The conditioner is very thick and rich; almost dificult to squeeze out of the bottle. I really would have perfered a pump bottle for easier dispensing. It suggests using directly on the scalp. I found it works very well on length of hair. It immediately softens hair, has fantastic slip and detangles easily. Though I would suggest using it like a scalp treatment as intended and using a separate more accessible conditioner to detangle.I surpringly don’t notice my hair getting greasy quicker or any loss of volume after using this directly on the scalp. If you have an oily scalp this may not be the case for you. The scent is different from the shampoo. It’s more warm cozy and woody. The scent is mild but lingers in hair.Overall I do like the shampoo and conditioner bundle but would prefer easier to use bottles.

Shampoo & Conditioner

I’ve been buying Growplex from their website for a while, but ordered from Amazon because I needed it quickly. The shampoo seemed the same, but the conditioner was much runnier and didn’t smell the same. It didn’t seem like the same product I’ve always received.

Too early to see results, but so far so good

I’ve been using the Revive Shampoo and Replenish Conditioner for a couple of weeks now, with a regular wash from another brand in between one of the washes since I didn’t have this set on hand. Because of that, and because hair products usually take time, I can’t confidently say that I’ve seen any noticeable change in new growth or overall thickness just yet. It’s still too early to see results, so I’m not saying that it doesn’t work; I’m simply sharing that, based on my personal experience so far, I haven’t seen visible result at this time, which is to be expected with short term use.That said, after each use my hair does feel very soft, looks noticeably shinier, and my scalp hasn’t felt dry, itchy, or irritated. It also hasn’t left my hair feeling heavy or weighed down, which is something I always seem to experience once my hair “gets used to” products. So far, that hasn’t happened, which is encouraging. I’ve tried many hair products over the years, ranging from salon brands to drugstore options, so I feel I have a good point of comparison.I have long hair, so I do have to use more than the directions suggest in order to get full coverage and a good lather, and also skip out on my usual double wash routine to maximize the products. With higher value shampoos and conditioners, I try to be more mindful of how quickly I can go through them.As for the packaging, the square bottles fit nicely in my shower and don’t tip over easily. However, I’m not a fan of the flip-top squeeze design and would personally prefer a pump for easier dispensing, especially with wet hands.One important thing to note: there is a warning on the bottle about making sure the product is thoroughly rinsed from the scalp and not left on too long because it can cause hair loss. Funny how that works. Anyway, that’s something to be aware of.While I haven’t seen increased thickness yet, I’m still hopeful and plan to continue using it. I’ve been trying to regain growth and fullness ever since my last pregnancy caused significant hair shedding, so I’m not ready to give up on this product just yet.
