Tingles when applied, scent quickly fades, easy application

I’m in my mid 40s now and I’ve started to notice some small areas of thinning hair on my head. So when I was offered to try and review this GROWUS Recover Therapy Hair Booster Serum EX, I figured it was worth a shot.I did some reading about this formula and I must say it sounds promising. They use particles that are 23 times smaller than pores typically are, that way the formula actually gets down into the skin to work its magic. Plus some of the ingredients are included to reinforce the scalp barrier and to also lower the scalp’s temperature, relieving heat stress on the scalp and creating a healthy environment for hair to grow.I’ve been using this product for about two weeks straight now and I do like the slight tingly feeling it gives when I apply it. There is also a woodsy type of scent that is noticeable, but it does fade after a few minutes. The little 3 ball applicator works well at applying the serum in small areas. But I will say if you’re looking for a serum to cover a larger area, you might want to look elsewhere seeing as this product comes in a small bottle and would run out fast. I also like that this serum doesn’t leave my hair feeling or looking like a greasy mess afterwards. It’s very easy to apply and use with the rest of my haircare products.It’s too soon to tell whether or not this GROWUS Recover Therapy Hair Booster Serum EX will actually help regrow my hair. But the formula sounds promising and I’ve had no bad reaction from using it thus far, so I will continue to use it with high hopes that it can help my areas of thinning hair.

Feels great on the scalp

So far I have really been enjoying the GROWUS Recover Therapy Hair Booster Serum. I especially love the applicator, the product is so easy to apply onto the scalp. The scent is so nice and the serum feel so refreshing when applied. After a few applications I can’t say I have noticed much of a change but its something that I will keep persisting with as I enjoy using it so much.

I would love to say it magically trasformed my hair, but there is no magic in this world

This is one of those products where half the experience is figuring out how the applicator actually works.The instructions basically say: apply and massage into scalp.What they should say is:”Press the metal roller head firmly against your scalp so the pressure pushes the serum out while rolling.”Because for the first minute I was sitting there politely massaging my dry scalp wondering whether this was a meditation exercise.Once I figured it out, the applicator actually made sense.The metal roller balls feel cool on the scalp and the squeeze-by-pressure system keeps the application controlled and less messy than dumping serum directly onto your head with a dropper like you are seasoning a salad.The packaging feels high end. This brand clearly spends time on presentation and user experience. The applicator is ergonomic, the rollers feel nice, and the whole thing has that “expensive skincare gadget” energy.As for the actual serum…I cannot honestly tell you whether it grows hair. Products like this need weeks or months of consistent use, plus some alternate universe version of yourself for comparison. Hair growth reviews are always a bit of faith, science, genetics, lighting, and optimism mixed together.What I can say:* It feels refreshing on the scalp* There is a cooling sensation* The roller massage itself feels good* The scalp feels stimulated afterwardNow, whether that sensation comes from the ingredients, the cooling metal rollers, or simply rubbing cold wet liquid onto your head with determination… difficult to say.The “spicule” part sounds slightly alarming at first. Tiny particles creating micro-channels in the scalp sounds like something between skincare and construction work. In practice, I only noticed a mild prickly sensation. Not painful, just noticeable.The scent is also worth mentioning. Fresh, herbal, slightly salon-like. I liked it, though people sensitive to fragrance may feel differently.One thing I appreciate is that the product encourages scalp care in general. Most people pay attention to hair and completely ignore the scalp attached to it. This at least gets you interacting with the area instead of hoping shampoo alone will solve everything.Bottom line:Interesting product, clever applicator, pleasant cooling scalp massage experience. Too early and too subjective for me to claim miraculous hair growth results, but it feels nice to use and the packaging makes you feel far more advanced in hair science than you probably are.4 stars mainly because the instructions need instructions.

I was really excited to try this hair booster serum, and the triple-ball scalp massager built into the applicator feels absolutely amazing to use at night. The biotin and spicule formula absorbs quickly into my roots without leaving my hair looking greasy or weighed down by morning. I have noticed less everyday shedding when I brush my hair, and my scalp feels much healthier and completely balanced. The formula has a pretty strong herbal scent initially, but it fades down quickly and the root-strengthening benefits make it totally worth it.

Strong fragrance

I’m not fond of the fragrance in this scalp serum. It’s got a clean, fresh scent that matches the marine theme. It’s listed “Herb Floral & Woody with notes of Orange and Cedarwood” under the scent description but I don’t really smell that at all. The issue I have with the fragrance is that it’s incredibly strong and lingers for a long time – I still notice it hours later, and the smell becomes a lot more tolerable for me about half a day later.Other than that, the serum is perfectly fine. It’s lightweight and absorbs quickly without any sticky or oily residue once dried. It gives a pleasant, cooling sensation when applied on the scalp. I’ve also been testing it out on parts of my eyebrows and it has a prickly sensation on the skin there, so I guess I can say that I know that the spicules are really there lol.It’s too early to tell if I notice any benefits but I trust this brand and their ingredient formulation. I’m using it on my eyebrows as well because I hope I can fill in some of the hair that grew in weakly after overplucking, as well as other areas where there is thinning. The current price of $19.50 isn’t bad for the innovative ingredients in this serum, although it’ll really depend on if you can handle the fragrance. If it were less intense, my rating would definitely be 4 stars instead.P.S. There was a safety seal sticker on the top of the box.

Hair booster serum

This hair biostbaerum is compact, so easy to carry when you travel as well. It is a thick serum that absorbs easily on my scalp. I have an area on my scalp where my hair has fallen a lot so I am using this serum to boost the hair growth. Only a little amount is enough to apply on your full scalp. If you have long hair, then it might not last long. I think I need to use it for a long time to see the results.
