    This is a nice gel to smooth flyaways for hairstyles

    So I think this product is geared towards more towards African American hair texture, however let me tell you that I LOVE how it works for even a Caucasian straighter hair texture. It has a clear gel-like texture with a really pleasant clean scent that is very light. It has EXCELLENT hold. I like to put a single braid in my daughter’s hair for school, but she often has all these baby hairs and flyaways that look pretty crazy by the end of the day. I used this product for her braid yesterday and her grandma picked her up from school and randomly told me that her hair looked so nice and sleek (she did not know we had tried this new product). I find that using it full strength will leave the hair with a bit of a wet-look with very strong hold and stiffer texture. I LOVE that it is fully water soluble – you can just rinse it off your hands no problem – there is no oily or greasy residue. So the technique I have used it to put a little dollop in my palm, add water and rub it together to a thinner consistency that I then apply to the top of the hair. I use a brush to then smooth the hair down and style it. This results in a nice, clean look without a greasy appearance. It washes out easily in the shower with shampoo. This is a nice big tub that should last a really long time. Overall really like the product and will continue to use it.

    I am not a professional hairstylist or anything like that, I am just someone who is trying to figure out the best way to do their own hair.I try to stay away from hair gel and things like that, but I thought that I should give this a chance! I used it while twisting my hair and I love the result! A little really goes a long way!It slicked down my hair and even kept the shape/definition of my curls at the end of my twists, but without the puffiness/frizz!I have a sensitive scalp and my hair tends to frizz pretty easily. I usually just wear a satin bonnet and don’t really wear scarves, but even then my hair still looks very neat and pretty!This gel is clear and easy to use. I noticed that when using it, it rinses off with just a bit of water, so I feel like washing it out will be no problem! The smell is nice, is light and not overpowering at all, and went well with the other products I used!I genuinely like this product and recommend that others give it a try if it is what they’re looking for! 😁

    Impressive Hold

    This gel has serious hold even though it has no essential oil to help with the smell. Although the gel looks black in the container its actually a clear gel that has no color. As soon as I applied it to my hairline, my hair straightened down (see my images) with a strong hold. No greasiness, no hairs curling back up, just sleek hair. It has a dryness like a pomade but without the white cast. Impressive. The hold is a 10 out of 10. The next day my hair was soft, not stiff, with zero flaking. Very impressive especially for curly and coily hair.
