Generously sized hair butter with a rich consistency but heavy fragrance and poor curl performance
I have been testing this three-in-one hair butter on my thick curls to assess its moisturizing and styling capabilities, and I find that while the physical quantity and texture are substantial, the styling results and fragrance leave a lot to be desired.On the positive side, I really appreciate the generous volume provided in the tub. The formula possesses a rich, pleasantly dense consistency that feels concentrated between the fingertips, which initially gave me high hopes for intense hydration. Given the volume of product you receive, the physical jar represents solid value for money in terms of raw quantity.However, in my experience, the scent is intensely overpowering and heavy. Right from the moment I opened the lid, the lingering fragrance struck me as far too aggressive, and I found that the perfume clings stubbornly to hair strands throughout the day in a way that feels unpleasant rather than refreshing.More disappointingly, I observed that the formula does very little to benefit thick curls. Despite experimenting carefully with varying amounts, ranging from a tiny pea-sized scrape to a more generous coating on damp hair, I could not achieve balanced moisture or curl definition. Instead, I found that the butter leaves my curls feeling uncomfortably greasy on the surface while remaining dry, wild, and frizzy underneath. Rather than locking in smooth shine or clumping my curl pattern neatly, it simply coats the hair shaft with an oily residue that weighs everything down without actually quenching internal dryness.Overall, I consider this a generously portioned and thick butter that may suit very specific coarse hair textures, but the intrusive scent and disappointing curl definition make it unsuitable for my routine.

Great for taming my increasingly curly hair.
As I’ve been growing my hair longer, I’ve discovered that it’s become considerably curlier than it used to be – something I’m blaming entirely on my dad’s genes! The downside is that it can also become quite dry and frizzy, so I’ve been looking for something to keep it under control.This hair butter has a lovely rich consistency, and I’ve found that a relatively small amount goes a long way. I work a little through the lengths and ends, concentrating on the areas that tend to become driest.The combination of rosemary, argan and jojoba oils leaves my hair feeling softer and more nourished, while helping to calm down the frizz and give the curls a little more definition and shine.Because it’s a richer product, I’ve found using it sparingly works best for my hair. Too much would probably be overkill, but with the right amount it leaves my hair feeling conditioned without looking like I’ve dunked my head in a chip pan!It’s particularly good for my longer, increasingly curly hair when it needs a bit more moisture and taming.

Sadly it’s a no from me, the smell just lingers.
So I am a huge fan of trying anything for hair growth! Since I’ve been on GLP-1 medication, my hair has suffered massively, thinning and loss, so I was intrigued to try this product! But? On opening, the smell just hit differently! I’ll start with the positives, it’s a good sized tub, and the texture is pretty thick. Despite the overpowering scent, I gave it a try. It was a smooth application, and it spreads pretty generously, so that’s a positive for me, it would last a while I would say, so for the price listed? I’d say it’s good value for money! And now the negatives! The smell? I cannot describe it but it isn’t pleasing. It has a very strong, chemical scent that just lingers, even after rinsing? The scent just stuck around which was a massive negative for me, I mean, I’ve only used the product once, so I can’t really comment on wether it made any difference, I can’t say that my hair felt any different in all honesty. I wasn’t overly impressed with the product on a whole, it was the scent for me, I just couldn’t get past that. So overall? It isn’t a product I would recommend.
