    Convenient Concept, But Lacking in Performance for me

    I had high hopes that this 5-in-1 hair dryer would make the drying and styling process smoother and easier. I really like the 5-in-1 concept, and the attachments are easy to attach and remove, which is convenient.Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing once I started using it. I found the twisting controls somewhat awkward to operate, and whether I used it as a hair dryer or with one of the attachments, the power felt noticeably lacking. The drying speed was the biggest disappointment for me, as it nearly doubled my usual drying time.I also found the styling results with the attachments to be very minimal. I didn’t get the smoothness or shine I was hoping for, and the curling attachments did not produce meaningful curls in my experience. The two heat settings also felt fairly mild to me, even at the higher setting.Overall, while I like the idea and versatility of a 5-in-1 design, the performance did not meet my expectations and I do not see myself reaching for this again in the future.

    Overpriced Hair Dryer

    At $75, huge pass. I was very hopeful that this would help me reduce my hair tools and free up space in my bathroom but unfortunately, this really underwhelmed. The hair dryer itself is pretty weak. I have very thin medium length hair that dries pretty quickly with most hair hair dryers and just drying to roots took a long time. The idea of this is great but if the dryer itself is under powered it’s not going to perform well. The only attachment I would use again is the round/oval brush. But I would use my regular dryer first to dry the roots and the rest of my hair to about 80% dry then finish with this tool. However Revlon sells a great one for about $35. The curling iron attachment might be ok but I would have to practice with it more to figure it’s best use. Otherwise you’ll be frying your hair for lack luster results. The brush attachment is difficult to use because the bristles push in so you need two hands, one to hold the section of hair tight then the other to run the brush down your strands. Just really not worth the effort and time for me. I could be more forgiving with this set if it wasn’t so ridiculously overpriced. There are so many better priced options out there. The only thing I really appreciate is the thick cord and cord minder to help keep it from tangling, and it is easy to attach tge attachments, they click on and off. Also, since it doesn’t come with any sort of case all the attachments are loose so you would need some sort of bag or case for it to keep it organized. Also, the packaging is just a cheap box so it doesn’t even feel like anything high end or something would you want to give it as a gift.

    ​I wanted to love this 5-in-1 system, but it’s trying to do too many things at once and doesn’t master any of them. If you’re eyeing this as a dupe for an expensive air blowout system, be aware that it just lacks the engineering to pull it off.​The curling barrels try to jump on the “airwrap train,” but because the tool relies on weak, turbulent airflow rather than true suction. To get any sort of curl to lock in, you have to hold it in place for so long that you end up baking your hair in unregulated high heat.​This tool is surprisingly loud. If you have fine, thin hair like I do, this is a major red flag for heat damage and split ends.​​If you strictly use it as a basic hot air brush to smooth out hair, it does an okay job.​The 360° swivel cord is convenient, and the removable filter makes it easy to clean.​
