Fantastic scissors and really nice combs!
I’m not a professional hair stylist — just a dad who cuts my kids’ hair. I never knew what a difference a great set of scissors could make. I’ve always just gotten by with whatever was handy, but these completely transform the experience. They are incredibly sharp, comfortable, and adjustable. I know this review pales in comparison to those of the professionals, but I would not have previously thought that spending $30 on a set of scissors would make much difference. I thought the hair getting pushed out of the way with each cut was normal… just something people worked around. But the hairs literally don’t move when I snip them with these scissors. I honestly feel out of my league, and I need to be really careful not to cut myself, because they slice unforgivingly.

very sharp and good control
I have no professional hair training or experience and had just been using the cheap scissors that came with the clipper set I use for home haircuts. What a difference a quality pair of hair scissors makes! It is fare easier and more comfortable to cut hair with these than anything I’ve ever used, although that bar is apparently very low. The grip is adjustable and ergonomic, and these feel really good in my hand. I can even adjust the tension of the scissors to what feels most comfortable for me. These have a nice weight to them, the blades are sharp, and I feel like I am more confident and my cuts are more precise. I’m surprised these aren’t more expensive with how well they perform.

amazing one. I used yesterday for cutting my kids hair. i love it. Nice barber shears
Nice barber shears. I started trimming my husband’s hair during Covid and have just continued ever since. These shears are sharp and work better than the professional shears I purchased from a beauty supply store. They are easy to take apart and oil/clean/sharpen. They are very lightweight which is a huge bonus when trimming hair. The fingers are a little tight for me, but not uncomfortable, however they might become uncomfortable if I had to use them all day. I do have larger hands, so that is more of a me issue rather than their problem. The included combs are actually much nicer than I was expecting and my husband immediately confiscated those for daily use since they are very well made.

I Didn’t Know What I Was Missing Until I Tried These
I’ll start by saying I am not a professional hairstylist, but I have been cutting my family’s hair for years. I’ve always used the shears that came in various haircutting kits, and I thought they worked perfectly fine. Then I tried these, and apparently I had no idea what I was missing.The biggest difference is how they feel and cut. They are much more comfortable and ergonomic in my hand than the cheaper shears I’ve used before. The movement is incredibly smooth, and they cut through hair cleanly without pushing, pulling, or snagging. It just feels so much more precise.I also really like the overall set. The combs are nice quality, the presentation box is great for keeping everything protected, and I appreciated that they actually include instructions for caring for the shears. I had honestly never thought about wiping my scissors down with a microfiber cloth or oiling the blades, so that was surprisingly helpful.For the price, I think this is an excellent set, especially for someone who regularly cuts hair at home and wants to upgrade from the basic scissors included in cheaper kits.Unfortunately for me, I now know what good hair shears feel like, and I don’t think I can go back. These are great.

sharp, would make a nice gift
I am a home user, not a professional, but I used these to cut my husband’s hair and I can confirm they are sharp and they worked well.It measures a total length of 6” with the blade being 2.5”. and it comes with a wrench to precise tighten the tension. The thumb hole is wide, much better than the scissors I was using that would lock my thumb in and was an annoyance to get out. It does come with thumb rings if you need it smaller though. It also includes 2 combs and a cleaning cloth.It is packaged nicely in a box that could be presented as a gift. I do recommend this product, especially for the price.

6” professional hair cutting scissors/shears with combs. These scissors are sharp and have an easy to use shape and length. I cut hair professionally back when we were called cosmetologists or barbers 🤭 I always preferred 6” scissors. These are also tension adjustable. Can be adjusted by hand or with the provided wrench. The finger holes are larger but come rubber inserts.Made 440C stainless steel (blades are alloy steel) and has a high polish. Weight is only 6.3 ounces. Very durable. The scissors are for right hand.Comparable to similar products for cost of $30 👍🏼
