Works & Smells Great
This hair detangler arrived quickly and well packaged with no leaks or spills in transit. The bottle is the typical size of most other hairsprays and detanglers. It has your generic push pump spray style dispenser and the liquid is dispensed in a fine mist making it easy to saturate large surfaces quickly. It smells great and could easily be used for either gender, not just girls. The detangler does work and quite well at helping you get through and knots and tangles, and requires very little product to achieve this. I have tried many different products with my daughter’s curly hair, and this has worked surprisingly well. I do want to note that this does leave an odd slick to the touch residue. It doesn’t make hair look greasy or feel heavy, but if you run your fingers through the hair it does linger on your fingers a bit. Not a huge amount just enough that I felt it should be noted. I do think it is important to be incredibly careful where you are spraying this as that mist will sprinkle onto the floor and turn it into a skating rink. So be sure to put a towel down if using on a hard surface to ensure that nobody falls. The price point for this is quite a bit more (nearly double) the cost of the one we typically use, but again the amount of product needed is nearly cut in half so I would say that it is a good trade off. I will update at a later time should I note any reactions or issues from regular use, but initial use has been reaction free. Overall, this is a great smelling and awesome working hair detangler/leave in conditioner that will last a long time but you do need to be mindful of excess making the floor slick in order to prevent injury. Would recommend.

great hair detangler
I like using this detangler spray for manageability of hair. It is great for both kids and adults. It sprays as a fine mist, is not oily, nor does it weigh down hair. It helps keep hair smooth, and makes it easier to comb through. It does not leave a crunchy film, which is great. It has a fun fruity scent to it, but for me it is a big strong smelling. It is a nice scent, but I personally am just a bit sensitive to smells and would love if this was available in an unscented version.

My girls have long hair that tangles terribly and usually takes me a good 10+ minutes to detangle in the morning. Our usual detangler does help but not a lot. I was expecting a similar experience with this, but I was pleasantly surprised. Their hair detangled easily. And it leaves their hair shiny and smooth, which doesn’t happen with the other brands we’ve tried. I was a bit put off by the price, but it really doesn’t take much, whereas I had to practically drench their heads with the other brands. Also, it saved me so much time and reduced the whining from the children, which was probably the best thing of all.

I’ve been buying hair de-tangler spray for many years. I used it for both of my daughters and then my granddaughter; it just made combing their long hair so much easier, less time consuming and less stressful. My granddaughter is nearly grown up now and certainly doesn’t need me (or her mom) to comb her hair anymore. But I still buy the stuff because I like how well it works for my own baby fine hair. My hair tangles so easily. I wash my hair every day and typically use a conditioner as I wouldn’t be able to get a comb through it otherwise. Sometimes, I also use a de-tangler on wet hair to help. But I usually use it on dry, styled hair later in the day. If my hair isn’t up in a twist or bun, it starts getting snarled within a few hours even if I’m not doing much of anything. Even worse if I have been out on my daily walk or have been working in the garden. This product helps me smooth it out without a major re-styling. I’ve tried many brands and some weigh my hair down or leave it looking and feeling a bit oily or flat. This one doesn’t and my comb glides right through the tangles, and my hair still looks and feels clean and has enough volume to look full. I can use it several times a day, if needed. The de-tangler does have a scent that I think kids would like, but it doesn’t seem too strong or overly sweet and it doesn’t linger. Or at least, I don’t notice it after 30 minutes or so. It sprays a light, fine mist and I don’t need to use very much for the results I want. This de-tangler is housed in a sturdy plastic bottle with a spray pump similar to those of a typical non-aerosol hair spray. It does seem a bit pricey but it works for me.

Didn’t help much.
It’s not awful by any means but it’s not great. Didn’t see how it really helped to detangle my kid’s hair. Has a cheap scent to it. Didn’t cause any greasiness or anything when their hair dried and they don’t have naturally curly hair or anything, just average straight hair. But it didn’t really help to make it easy to brush through like I had hoped.

Helps to prevent those big knots from forming in windy situations
This smells good and works well for the long-haired kids in the family. It does seem to stop the constant tangling and giant knots that form when brushing and combing is not as thorough as it should be. There are lots of ingredients in this, and we generally prefer simpler products, so we mainly use this when doing outdoor activities, where we expect there to be lots of wind, which inevitably forms big knots in the tresses.

Smooths out the tangles nicely
My 9 year old daughter gets horrible tangles in her hair. I’m always on the hunt for a good detanger/leave-in conditioner that will spare me from having to cut her hair. I really like that this detangler is geared for children. It has a subtle scent to it that makes using it on my daughter a pleasant experience. I was using another product that made us cough every time we used it, so I’m so happy that isn’t the case with this stuff. Overall, it works wonderfully! The spritzer works great also, so no fighting with it to get the product to come out. Most importantly, it makes combing through my daughter’s hair a lot less challenging. I have even used it myself, so I can say that it’s great for just about anybody.
