Those two characteristics are the best of any dryer I have ever used. It also has decent velocity, not spectacular, but pretty good. I like the air intake being down on the bottom of the handle so there is little chance of it sucking in my long hair. It comes with two attachments. I only use the concentrator, not the diffuser.Cons: I find myself constantly accidentally adjusting the temperature because the switch is a simple button press rather than a slide bar. So just touching it toggles it to the next temperature. So if I am doing a cool air session suddenly I am at 110, 150, or 170 degrees because my finger slipped a bit and hit the button. Sometimes that’s not a big deal, but if I’m blowdrying my dog, it could be a very big deal! The switch needs to be relocated or redesigned. At best, it’s annoying, at worst, I could be burning my dog!Another annoying thing is that I have accidentally knocked the magnetic concentrator nozzle off many times while I am using it. Just barely glancing it off my head sends it flying. It just doesn’t lock on as well as it should, in my opinion.I also have to get used to the balance and dimensions of the dryer. For some reason, I am finding that I can’t naturally point the dryer toward my round brush. It’s just different than my old one and I assume I will get used to it.

Low heat, fast drying
I have dry, damaged hair and I saw this product listing and decided to try it since it claims it takes less time to dry hair. There’s a lot to love about this dryer. The air velocity is definitely high, even on the low speed setting, so that’s what I use. It’s amazingly quiet. At first I was concerned that the highest heat setting, which is 170F wasn’t warm enough and it would take longer to dry my hair. But like the listing claimed, it does dry my hair faster with lower heat which is a win-win. I like that I can change the temperature separately from the air speed. The highest heat setting feels like the warm/cool setting on my old dryer just for comparison. It would be nice if there was a cool shot button so I could hit my hair with a cold shot of air to lock in the style. I like the easy to read digital screen on the back of the dryer. It’s not the smallest dryer in the world but it’s not the biggest either. It’s lightweight and easy to hold. The magnetic lint screen on the bottom of the handle is easy to remove to clean. One disappointment was finding that the dryer does NOT fold for storage or travel, even though the listing said it did. The manual did not mention that it could fold, and I see nothing on the dryer like a release button that would let it fold up. I’m 100% sure it doesn’t fold. That’s a relatively small issue though. All in all, I’m very pleased that I purchased this dryer and it’s a steal compared to that OTHER well known brand.

Pleasantly Surprised
This is a really nice little dryer–it’s small but not dinky like small dryers I’ve had in the past. This is like a full size hairdryer in a compact size. I didn’t expect to see any different results from the European-made hair dryer I usually use, but I was pleasantly surprised.It actually does dry my hair faster. And my hair is smoother. The differences are subtle, but I’m not imagining them.As for noise level–the pitch is much higher than my normal model, which makes it actually seem louder to me. But it’s probably quieter than most hair dryers on the market.It’s a nice weight–not too light or too heavy.The best qualities are the magnetic attachments and the heat settings. You choose the air speed you want (low or high) and then just touch the button to move between various temps. All the provided temps are more than adequate for quickly drying hair without frying it. Also, I don’t know why so many reviews mention “there is no cold shot”–there absolutely is. It’s just the 0 degree setting. I don’t know how these folks possibly missed that because it’s pretty obvious. The magnetic attachments go on easily and cling well without being difficult to remove. I REALLY like that. I have curly hair and have used soooooooo many diffusing attachments that fall off all the time. It is so nice to have one that stays in place but is also easy to remove!

It works well if you want something with better performance than a basic dryer. It is not especially small, though. A Great Quiet Hair Dryer for Home and Travel!
I recently got my hands on this BURKANIX high-speed ionic hair dryer, and I’ve been really impressed so far. It’s got that same great size and power as some of the more expensive, top-brand dryers I’ve used, and I’m happy to report it’s just as quiet, which is a huge plus when you’re trying to get ready in the morning without waking up the whole house. It feels super solid and well-built, definitely a quality piece of equipment, but it’s also a little lighter than my other dryer, which makes it even more comfortable to hold.One thing I particularly like is the cord. It’s slightly shorter than what I’m used to, but honestly, that makes it way less unwieldy. I think that shorter, more manageable cord, combined with its lighter weight and compact design, would make this an awesome travel option. You could easily toss it in a suitcase or gym bag without it taking up too much space or becoming a tangled mess. The dryer also comes with both a diffuser and a concentrator nozzle, which is great for different styling needs, whether you’re defining curls or going for a smooth blowout.Now, for a couple of minor points. It only has two speed settings, and it doesn’t have an instant-cool shot button. For me, that’s not a deal-breaker since I never really use the cool shot anyway, but it’s something to be aware of if that’s a feature you can’t live without. GAME CHANGER, why did I wait so long to upgrade??
Look, I’m not going to say a blow-dry changed my life, but holy heck!!! This thing is AMAZING and I’m kicking myself for not upgrading sooner. First off, I use this on rescue animals ~ so let me tell you, the lack of noise is a huge plus! Because I’m using it for much longer periods of time, the fact it’s SO lightweight is A GAME CHANGER! not only that, but it’s weighted comfortably, no heavy head or end, your hand and wrist won’t get tired or oddly fatigued in certain muscles. I feel like it has a wider spray than your typical classic style, which I love ~ however it’s still best concentrated! The fact you can change the temp and it’s not a button you have to hold is AMAZING, again, less fatigue! Plus you don’t have to worry as much with it over heating as you go with the control!The airflow is fantastic also, generally I always use the highest/fastest. This speeds up drying on the animals SO MUCH, so it’s creating less stress on them! They’re getting drier faster, with less heat fluctuation, less scary noise, this thing has changed my whole process!!The cord is a very comfortable kind of silicone wrap, not going to kink like your regular cords. It has plenty of length which, not only with animals but just one outlet, is a major benefit! It has a cord-wrap in silicone attached also, so you don’t ever have to go looking when you need to wrap it up! The air filter couldn’t be simpler to clean either, an easy magnet and wipe down. Definitely worth every scent!!!

The blow dryer is attractive, simple to use, and comes with two attachments, a concentrator and a diffuser that fasten magnetically to the head and are simple to attach and remove. Operation is straightforward. The air power button has two intensity settings and the air temperature control button has multiple heat levels from no heat up to 170 degrees Fahrenheit. The operating temperature is illuminated clearly on the end of the handle. Pressing the temperature button cycles the device from no heat to high then back down to no heat. The temperature can be changed while the device is in operation.The dryer has a nearly 6 foot cord and a ground fault circuit interrupter plug for safety.The blow dryer is sturdy, well balanced, attractive and, at 1 pound 4.5 ounces including the cord, not overly heavy to hold. The plastic casing has a matte finish.The dryer has a stainless steel filter magnetically attached on the air intake to prevent debris and dust from blocking the airflow. The filter needs to be cleaned regularly using a soft cloth, not water which could damage the device. This is very easy to do by gently pulling on the filter and sliding it down the cord.I tested the noise level using a decibel meter on my phone and on low, it registered only 76 decibels and on high only 80 decibels.The device comes with an instruction book which I found to be useful and easy to understand.
