I was excited to try this hair mask because I have frizzy hair. I followed the instructions, leaving the mask in for 3 to 4 minutes before rinsing.The product contains small black beads, which I assume are the caviar ingredient. These beads should dissolve as you work the product into your hair, but I found that they often didn’t. This made rinsing a bit difficult, as I had to be very thorough to make sure all the beads were out of my hair.After letting my hair air dry, I didn’t see a significant reduction in frizz, but my hair did look noticeably shinier. I have thinner, wavy hair, and one major downside for me was that this mask seemed to loosen my natural waves, which I wasn’t happy about.On the other hand, my husband, who has thicker hair and struggles with dandruff, had a more positive experience. He felt that the mask helped to reduce his dandruff to some extent and softened his hair. He was pleased with the results.It’s also worth noting for those with celiac disease that the ingredient list includes barley, which could pose a risk for cross-contamination.Overall, while this hair mask wasn’t the right fit for me and my hair type, it did seem to work well for my husband.

Dense formula
This mask is marketed as a luxurious treatment, and it certainly looks the part, with a thick texture and small black beads (which I assume are the caviar) that don’t fully dissolve. However, my experience wasn’t what I expected. After following the instructions and rinsing, my hair felt heavy, not fully clean, and it lacked the softness or shine I anticipated. I even had to rinse again and use a different conditioner to get the texture I prefer. I tried it multiple times (at least five uses) and each time the result was the same: weighed-down hair. The 6.35 oz size also goes out quickly, which makes it seem less cost-effective given its performance. Overall, while the idea sounds luxurious, the results didn’t work for my hair.

Disappointing hair mask
This hair mask comes in a large, elegant-looking tub, but the size feels unnecessary and a little deceiving. The scent is very strong and perfume-like, which was overwhelming for me. I also did not care for the caviar beads inside, they leave behind a black residue and add nothing to the product.Performance-wise, it missed the mark. My hair did not feel softer or more moisturized after use, and while the label suggests it can double as a leave-in conditioner, that is definitely not the case. Even at the current coupon price of about $16, it is not something I would repurchase.

Not for me
Starting off I just wanted to say I have kinda coarse, wavy hair with medium thickness. Lately my hair has been feeling a bit dry and dull so I was really hoping this mask would give it the boost it needed. Unfortunately it didn’t quite work for me.The mask itself didn’t have any weird scents and it actually looked like it was high quality but it just felt heavy on my hair. The micro beads also were kinda annoying to wash out and my hair just felt coated and not actually soft and moisturized after. Like maybe I didn’t quite use it right but I personally don’t feel like this product was for me.

Hair Mask for Damaged Hair
This entire collection of products from Allowish looks pretty luxe for the price. At order time, it was priced at $20 but right now it’s marked for half that which makes it a great buy. The texture is thick and goopy cream with bits of “caviar” in it. I also love that this only needs to sit in hair for a total of 3 minutes. So no wasting time in the shower wasting water. I have pretty severely damaged hair from bleach. So my hair craves moisture. I paired this with a scalp cleansing shampoo and my hair felt noticeably tamer. It did still dry up into a pouff despite this mask and a leave-in hair conditioner and oil. Honestly I’m quite curious about their other product offerings as well. the beautiful packaging also makes it so gift-worthy in a gift basket.

Nice Weekly Treatment
This hair mask is a solid weekly treatment. The texture is rich and creamy with a lovely, light scent. It leaves my hair feeling noticeably softer and smoother after just a few minutes of use, and it helps manage frizz. The smell reminded me of men’s cologne. I’ve got dead end damage from how I pull my hair up, that’s it, and it didn’t help my hair at all following the directions. Another brand I get in an orange container does for around the same price and larger amount.

Works great, even on wigs!
I am IN LOVE with this hair mask. The smell is soooo good! It is rather strong out of the container, but after using it, the smell is softer and is really nice.My daughter has been using this on her hair and it makes it very soft. I, on the other hand, have used this product on my heat friendly synthetic wigs. Any wig wearer knows how hard we try to get our fibers to look and feel like real hair. Wigs tend to get poofy as the bottoms fray and look wiggy. This hair mask does something. I dont know how, but it makes my wig fibers lay nicely and take longer to fray before needing to apply heat. I am so impressed with this that I plan on purchasing more when this container runs out!The attached picture is of my wig/hair at a baseball game, after several hours of being outside and living life. I brushed it maybe once. Normally I’d have it up in a clip after a couple of hours, but this mask had it feeling great pretty much all day! I’ve been wearing the same brand of wigs for years (BT) and know instantly if a product does or does not work. Sometimes I hit a proverbial home run with human hair products that work and this seems to be one!

Not very mask-like, but it works well on colour treated hair
This Allowish brand protein conditioner works well, but it goes on much more like a standard conditioner than it does a hair mask.I like it as a basic conditioner, and my hair feels nice and soft and smooth after using it. I have colour treated wavy hair that does tend to be dry and it responds well to massaging it in after shampooing and leaving it on for 5+ minutes before rinsing it out.✨ There are tiny black beads that can squish – I assume this is the caviar extract, and they rinse out perfectly fine.✨It has a nice pleasant fragrance that isn’t heavy nor too floral.✨ Expires in 3 years, and the PAO symbol indicates it should be used within 12 months of opening.✨ Sulfate and paraben free.🚨 I can’t find any information on it being cruelty free.This isn’t as thick and rich as a typical hair mask, but it makes for a nice lightweight, non-greasy conditioner that leaves the texture of my hair smooth and easy to work with after.
