A little goes a long way
MEETSDG self-heating hair mask has a lot of great and natural, plant-based ingredients, like the Argan oil & Shea Butter, but it also contains some chemicals at top of ingredients list that I don’t really care for. I have used this a couple of times already, as I have the very dry hair of many older women, as well as I do some color treating, so it needs some tlc ever 3-4 days or so. At least I keep this away from my scalp, as I just use it on about the 2nd half of the hair shaft, mostly on the length. It definitely does what it says. I leave it on from 15 min, to sometimes a half hour and rinse well. My hair dies come out quite shiny and silky with a lot of slip. I just hope with much use I won’t experience much hair fall from some of the chemical components. I still prefer my usual hair mask that has 0 chemicals for around $6.00-$7.00 less than this 1, for the exact same amount. The price for this I feel is excessive, at just under $24.00. You do not need much though, unless your hair is quite long, so for my shoulder length hair, it would last me possibly 3 or 4 months.

Softer & Smoother Hair
I’m glad I tried this hair mask a couple of times before reviewing because it turned out that I hadn’t applied it correctly, and it makes a difference! The directions state that the product should be applied to towel-dried hair, and I forgot to do that the first time. The result was that I didn’t notice as much conditioning as I would have liked. I followed the instructions the second time and noticed an improvement. I have color-treated hair with some wiry grays, and this mask made my hair feel noticeably softer and smoother. It does have a strong shea scent but it does dissipate after rinsing and drying. I’ll be using this as a deep conditioning mask once a week.

Works like a charm on extensions
I don’t use this on my natural hair, but it works wonders on my extensions. I apply it after washing, wrap them up, and let them sit for about an hour. Even after just one use, the difference is noticeable. They are softer, shinier, and much healthier looking.It also plays well with vivid colors, which is a big plus. For heavily damaged pieces, it does take a few rounds to see a full turnaround, but it’s definitely effective over time.That said, I’m cautious about using it on my item hair. There’s something in it that creates a self-heating effect, and since the ingredient list isn’t on the listing (you only see it once it arrives), something about that feels off. So I stick to using it strictly on my extensions.

The Wistrge Hair Treatment Mask with Argan Oil & Shea Butter is a thick hair mask that has a very strong scent. I cannot stand the smell of rose, and dislike the argan oil; however, I thought the other scents would balance them out. Nope! This mask smells so strongly that it gives me a headache. It’s unfortunate because it does an excellent job at hydration, smoothing my frizz, making my hair feel silky and manageable, keeping out the tangles.

This was a nice hair mask. It really hydrated and shines the hair easily even after the first use. The texture is very creamy and soft and is very easy to use and place on my hair. The cream has an amazing scent and it’s great for my dry and damaged hair. I placed bleach and really damaged my hair and this really helped my hair strands.
