Good enough that I bought more
This styling gel is excellent if you want curl definition and frizz control without the crunchy, stiff feeling a lot of gels leave behind.The hold is flexible and natural looking while still keeping curls and waves defined for a long time.I also really like that it helps with moisture instead of making hair feel dry or sticky. Hair stays soft and touchable after styling.Frizz control is very good too, especially in humid weather.The heat protection is another huge plus if you diffuse or style with heat regularly.A little goes a long way, and it layers nicely without buildup or flaking.Honestly the biggest compliment I can give it is that I ended up buying more. It works well enough that I wanted to keep using it instead of trying something else.Overall this is a really effective curl gel with natural hold, good moisture balance, and great frizz control. Pricy but feels and looks great on your hair
The gel is really nice and not sticky at all. It doesn’t make my hair feel crunchy or tacky at all which is really nice. The scent is nice. Has a upscale product smell. I don’t know if I saw more definition than I usually see in my hair but it definitely controlled the frizzy part of my hair. My hair was still soft at the end of the day which was really nice.The only thing is the price but I do think that since this is such a good brand and it feels so nice I think it’s worth it.

Love Hairstory but this not so much
I usually rave about Hairstory but the gel didn’t work well for me. It’s light, it didn’t flake, and was able to air dry but it did leave my hair a little crunchy even after scrunching it a bit to eliminate that. So love their other stuff but this not so much.

I really like this gel, my hair is naturally pretty wavy, and I’ve been trying to find a good gel for scrunching my hair. This one smells amazing and works very well. My hair doesn’t feel gross after using it like a lot of other gels. Definitely my new go to for my routine. I highly recommend. The amount you get is very good for the price, as a little bit goes a long way!

Great all day control but scent not so good
I am always on the lookout for curly hair products. I decided to give this one a try and have to say I’m pretty impressed with this hair gel.I have very thin but curly hair. As it gets longer it weighs the curls down. As you can see from pic one, where I was using a different styling product my hair can be quite frizzy. It seems like pretty much all the products I’ve tried just don’t get the job done. Well as you can see from pics 2 and 3 this one definitely gets the frizz under control and the hair gel was the only product in my hair as opposed to pic one where I had to use multiple products and got less positive results. You may ask why 4 stars. Well the fragrance was very off putting to me. I’m not sure I can describe the scent but it was not good to me. That being said the scent faded fairly fast so I will continue to use it as the effectiveness and control it offered lasted all day and did so while leaving my hair soft and movable verses crunchy and stiff like some hair products can do. I started out thinking the price was high but after seeing how little it took and the quality of the product combined with the benefits of all day control and hair softness definitely makes it worth

Soft Bouncy Curls All Day-Less Frizz-Pleasant Scent
I really like this eco-friendly brand, they use more naturally derived, high-quality, clean ingredients designed to prioritize hair health. Their styling gel does not disappoint. It’s smooth and lightweight, it’s not tacky or sticky like some gels. It adds some moisture, tames the frizz and helps define my curls without weighing them down. It leaves my hair feeling softer and more manageable. It doesn’t make my hair crunchy, stiff or leave a wet look, just bouncy flexible curls that last the whole day. I find the scent very pleasant. If you have thin and frizzy wavy/curly like me then you should like this gel as much as I do. The only negative thing I can say about it, is the price is steep, but since it works great, has healthy ingredients and the brand is really cool, it’s worth it.

Styling and Profiling
I find the hold of this styling gel to be excellent; it maintains its softness and is not stiff and rigid like many other gels I’ve tied over the years. I rarely use gels and when I do, I use a small amount, I keep my hair very short, so frizz control wasn’t something I was overly concerned with. I liked the approach that Hairystory uses, it’s a healthy product that I don’t need to be concerned with the potential impacts to my hair and scalp, I’m confident this gel is made with quality and integrity. It does have a bit of moisturizing effect, and doesn’t appear as wet, something many gels do. I’ve used it hours before working out or going on long trail walks and afterwards sweating profusely and it had zero impact on my eyes, that was the key factor for me, in trying it and more importantly continued use. It maintains a natural appearance and it holds well with a soft feeling, which I prefer. The effectiveness and quality of this hair gel is remarkable; it’s the price point that is my only concern.
