These heatless curling rods are a great alternative to using hot styling tools. I wanted an easier way to create curls while avoiding heat damage, and these delivered beautiful, soft curls with very little effort. The overall appearance is attractive, and the materials feel soft enough to comfortably wear overnight.The quality impressed me immediately. Using the five senses, the curling rods look well-made with neat stitching, feel soft and cushioned against the hair, have no unpleasant odor, are long enough to accommodate various hair lengths, and remain lightweight enough that they don’t feel overly bulky while sleeping.The usability is excellent. The instructions were easy to follow, and wrapping my hair around the rods became simple after a little practice. They stayed in place throughout the night without slipping excessively, making overnight styling much more convenient.The functionality exceeded my expectations. By morning, my hair had soft, bouncy curls with noticeable volume, all without exposing my hair to heat. I appreciated that my hair felt smooth and healthy afterward instead of dry or damaged.The durability appears very good. A good way to get beautiful curls or waves without heat – if you have medium or longer hair.
I’m not sure if heatless curling rods are for me, but I thought I’d give it the ol’ college try. I have long, thick hair, so ultimately, the curls didn’t stay long in my hair (shocker), but the process wasn’t as confusing or painful as I thought it would be. This set comes with three jumbo flex rods that clip together on each end, and a satin cloth to wrap your head in to avoid messing up the rolled curls as you sleep. The rollers feel very flexible and are made with soft, somewhat cheap-feeling fabric that was a bit static-y when I pulled the rollers out of my hair. Since they were so soft, they weren’t bothersome to sleep on. The metal clips at each end were a bit of a pain if I happened to rest my head atop one of them, so it took some maneuvering on my pillow to avoid this. I like that these don’t use any heat, as I try to avoid damaging my hair as much as possible. While my hair doesn’t hold curls very well, this did create beautiful curls at first, which dropped into waves that hung around for most of the day. I think I’ll use more hairspray next time to try and get the curls to last a little longer. The value seems decent for what is offered, and I like that these are easy to use and they can be reused.

You Won’t Regret this Purchase
I LOVE these heatless curling rods. My hair has never looked better or felt softer! I have never been good at styling my hair but these heatless curling rods make it so easy! The instructions are super easy to follow and even easier to place in hair. My first attempt wasn’t great, so I recommend using them when you don’t have somewhere to go the next day. Heat damage is my biggest factor when trying new products or styling my hair. I recently started to lose my hair and it can be a deflating medical issue. I stopped using any product and had dull and flat hair. I was so happy to find these and find a way to feel and look good again.

Comfortable Overnight Waves Without Heat
I was a little confused when I opened this because the box advertises it as a 4-piece set, but there are actually only three curlers and one silk scarf. To me, that’s a little misleading. I think it would be clearer if it were advertised as a 3-piece curler set plus a silk scarf, since the scarf isn’t really part of the main styling product.The included scarf is pretty basic. It’s essentially a piece of fabric with the edges sewn to prevent fraying. The stitching isn’t bad, but it isn’t high-end either. I noticed a few loose threads. The fabric is somewhat see-through, but I do love that it’s purple—my favorite color! One side is very soft and silky, while the other side is still soft but doesn’t have quite the same silky feel.The curlers themselves are about the diameter of a 1-inch curling iron. The fabric covering them is very soft, they have no odor (which is important to me), and they don’t snag or pull my hair. They’re flexible and have a foam insert, making them very comfortable to wear. The clasps work much like the buckle-style closures found on other overnight curlers I’ve used.I put them in after showering and slept in them overnight. Since I don’t normally sleep with anything in my hair, I was aware they were there, but they were much more comfortable than I expected.In the morning, my hair definitely had shape to it. I wouldn’t call them curls, though. For me, they created more of a soft, natural-looking wave, which I actually prefer. The result looked much more natural than what I typically get from a curling iron, and of course, there’s the added benefit of avoiding heat damage.The only downside is that one kit really isn’t enough if you want to style your entire head. I think you’d either need two of these sets or one of the larger overnight curler kits that are available. Price-wise, though, buying two of these would end up being about the same cost as many of the larger kits.As someone who stays home most days, I probably won’t use these every night. However, they’re definitely something I’ll put in the night before I know I’m going out.Overall, I think these are a good option if you’re looking for soft waves without heat damage. Just don’t go into it expecting tight curls. The price is in line with similar products, and I would recommend them for anyone wanting an easy, heat-free way to add waves to their hair.

You only receive three rods, not four
I was excited to try out these heatless curling rods but I was a little disappointed upon opening. The description is a little misleading because you really only receive three rods and one scarf. I thought I would be receiving four rods. The rods themselves also feel a little on the flimsy side. I tried to wrap my hair around them the best that I could, but I have really long hair and I did not find these rods to be big enough to style all of my hair. My hair is right above my lower back for reference. If you have shorter hair these would probably work better for you. As the the rods I was able to install, I will say the locking mechanism works great and holds them in place well. I on the other hand did not find these very comfortable to sleep in. I am a stomach/side sleeper so these were very uncomfortable for me. Maybe they are best for back sleepers? Either way this product did not work out well for me, but maybe it is a YMMV situation.

I really like these heatless curling rods.They come in a 3 pack as well as a satin scarf to wrap your hair into.The rods are soft yet dense, and my hair doesn’t slip while I’m rolling them in. They bend well and are not flimsy.They have a cute hook to close and secure it once rolled, but I had such a hard time doing it without looking.They’re a thick rod which will translate more into a soft curl – just something to give your hair some body and some bounce.I’m a side sleeper, so these were comfortable to sleep in since they’re in a mohawk section.There are instructions on how to use them and they are very clear.The scarf is BIG giving you plenty of material to wrap around your hair. I wasn’t exactly sure how to do it, so I winged it and it worked out well.I have straight hair so my hair tends to slip out of curlers, so this scarf helped everything stay where it’s supposed to.It’s a silky material so it was nice and slick on my pillow and stayed on my head all night.The quality seems really nice, and like it’ll last for a long time. I feel like it’s a good price for what it is and I recommend!

Great for heatless styling
These curling rods are great for soft, effortless curls without damaging your hair. I much prefer this set of 3 to the one long noodle that arcs over your head. These definitely require individual practice to get the look you want depending on your hair and preferred sleeping position. But they hold well, the rod material has a bit of grip, and the included satin scarf offers extra protection against frizz. Once you get the method down, they are a great way to save time in the morning. For the price, this set is a great value.
