The curlers exceeded my expectations. VERY nice quality! The material is velvety smooth. The inside contains a sturdy structure. When you bend the curlers, you can feel little joints move inside. The joints help the curlers hold shape. Easy to use! Work well!

Good, will be better when my hair is longer
These are a bit bigger than I expected, so my hair was a bit too short for it to really get those beach waves, but it still gave me some happy little curls at the ends of my “butterfly” or “Farrah Flip” haircut. I’m growing my hair out though, so these will definitely work better when my hair is longer than the many other types of heatless curlers and rollers I have. I like the velvet, gives more gold for sleeping in them than the several types of satin curlers and rollers I’ve used to style my hair. The satin scarf is nice to hold them in place and prevent frizzing while sleeping, though it can hinder the drying process, so I’ll have to go back to my chiffon scarf. Nice to see some sort of covering option included with the rollers for once though. I have very thick hair so the four rollers were only JUST enough to get my hair to dry overnight from a damp set, so as it grows I will probably need to get more. Be careful how you roll them, because these hold so well that they can pull TOO MUCH on your scalp. Takes practice with each different type of curlers to get the right technique, these are certainly no exception to that rule, so take your time to reroll each one until you can get it hooked where it’s tight and secure, but not so much that you feel like your hair is being ripped out! Good set, works well!
