    Simple, Comfy and Convenient

    I’ve never used rollers like this before and found them to be simple and convenient. Definitely WAY more convenient than the original rollers most of us remember our moms torturing us with before bedtime as kids. These are much more simple and functional. Learning how to use these rollers is a little bit confusing at first using the instructions provided. There was a video included, and I watched it, once. Unfortunately, now I can’t seem to find it. I don’t know if this is because they took it down or it’s just not popping up for me for some reason. Regardless, it provided a much better tutorial on how to use it than the instructions do.I DID manage to use them and fasten my hair around the rollers. I think I pretty much fastened them as shown in the instructions. The plus side is that my extremely fine hair did in fact respond to the night’s updo and came out of its confines looking wavy the next day- so, I can safely say that the rollers WORK, even on thin hair. Sadly, the waves fell out the minute that I brushed my hair out. This might just be my hair, since it doesn’t hold much, but I still plan to try again using some hair spray next time to hold the waves.**Other pros: these rollers are soft and comfortable. Once you get the hang of using them, they are not hard to work with, either, despite the fact that the instructions seem to be somewhat lacking.

    Giant PITA to use

    Even after watching the video, I could not get this in my hair. It’s really confusing, came with no instructions, and doesn’t really work. There’s no way this will work for short hair. My hair is a little longer than shoulder length and it wouldn’t stay wrapped. This is a nope for me.

    Difficult to Use and Didn’t Work for Me

    I had high hopes for this heatless curling set, but unfortunately, it just didn’t work out for me. I struggled with the concept of how to get it properly placed in my hair, and I had a really hard time connecting the ends together. It didn’t stay secure the way I expected.The material itself seems flexible and well made, but even with the instructions, I couldn’t get it to hold my hair in place overnight. Instead of waking up with curls, I ended up frustrated because it just didn’t give me the results I wanted.This may work better for someone with a different hair type or more patience with styling tools, but in my case, it was not a good fit. Sadly, it didn’t provide the easy, bouncy waves that were promised.

    My teenage niece likes to use these because she doesn’t like to use heat to curl her hair. These heatless curlers don’t make her hair curly, just wavy, which is the way she likes it. They’re easy to hook and unhook, as you can see in my video.

    Used on 95% dry hair and it turned out gorgeous. Needs to come with instructions. Grab hair from each side alternating and put it over and under (much like doing a braid) make sure it is pulled tight. Look up “Arion” heartless curler for better instructions

    Received a used product, no instructions, and a user unfriendly product

    I love trying out different heatless curling methods. I already have the Robecurls heatless curl set and I’m generally happy with that. And I have already tried another method of stuffing skinny flexicurls in a sock to curl the front and back sections of my hair. Both methods have their pros and cons, but I am happy with both methods. I ordered this specific product because I was intrigued that it seems to combine a little bit of both, except it doesn’t use tight flexicurls (which I think is superior in its flexibility and maneuverability). I wanted to try this product because I thought it might give me a different kind of curls, a differen tlook. So here’s my finding: this product is cumbersome, difficult to use, and just not worth my time and effort.First, I received a product that was clearly used before. Even though it’s shrink wrapped, it was bulging at both ends and the box was not properly closed. When I removed the product from the box, I could tell the curling set was haphazardly stuffed back in the box. And the worst thing is, there are NO INSTRUCTIONS in the box. A product like this requires instructions. On top of that, the rod is quite wrinkly, further evidence that the product had been previously used and returned. But please note, my one star review is not because I received a poorly packaged returned item, even though that is a big pet peeve of my mine. I ended up watching the video posted in the listing, even though the video was very fast and not sufficiently detailed.I gave this product one star because it is not user friendly. For one thing, the shorter rod that you’re supposed to roll the front section of your hair with, is a tad too short. When I roll the front section of my hair inwards, my hair at both ends of the rod get caught up in the hooks because the rod is not long enough. Inevitably, my hair gets tangled up in the hook and I broke a few strands of my hair to get it untangled. Second, I had a very difficult time hanging the long rod to the hook of the shorter rod. Initially from the video, I thought the long rod had its own hook, but nope, it’s just a small elastic loop (see pic). It took many, many tries to hook this loop into the hook of the shorter rod. And I’m not sure if I was supposed to hook it before or after I close the shorter rod, makes sense? If not, then you’re just as confused as I.When I finally got the long rod to hang, I criss crossed two sections of my hair over the rod, I grabbed new sections of my hair from both sides and crisscrossed again. I wasn’t sure if I was supposed to go over or under. At the same time, my hands are very uncomfortable maneuvering the strands around that goofy rod that’s just loosely hanging from the top of my head. Because the rod and all the action is in the back of my head, I can’t see what I’m doing. Geez, this is like doing the French braid for a newbie. And I never mastered the French braid. After playing around with this for about 15 minutes or so, I gave up. Why so much work if I could achieve a similar look with the Robecurls (very easy to use) or a similar product, or better yet, use flexi curls stuffed in a sock – the best method imo.Last but not least, and I was aware of this before I ordered this item, if you wore this to sleep, you can’t sleep on your back. It’s like sleeping on your back with a ponytail. You can only sleep on your sides which means back sleeper, this product’s not for you. And tbh, this is such a poorly conceived product. Now I know why the previous person returned this item. Not worth the price. I strongly advise against this heatless curler unless you have superior finger dexterity, are great with French braids, don’t have better heatless curl alternatives, and never sleep on your back.

    I did not do my research and this is so much more complicated than I realized.

    I have held similar sets to this in line at the store more times than I can say. I love the idea of anything that makes my slightly wavy hair curlier. But I never researched how exactly it worked and I should have because I had no idea you have to essentially French braid your hair around the long piece! I have never been able to French braid and I remember trying as a little girl but it simply wasn’t something I was talented in. I could never get my fingers to grab the right size pieces of hair and I would eventually have to give up after long periods of losing circulation in my arms from keeping them up too long. I clearly need to stop being such an impulse shopper because I don’t even remember the last time I saw a French braid since they haven’t been in style for a long time. I have tried to use this once so far and it was a disaster so I definitely recommend watching the how to video before you order any sets similar to this one. I do want to note that the box has no directions on it and I definitely think it should for people who don’t realize there is a video attached.

    Won’t fit with my hair but maybe better for others 👍

    This set is a lot Smaller than I expected, and not great for someone with super long and thick hair. If you have shorter hair it may be better for you, but I simply can’t use it unfortunately. The plus side is It does come with everything listed, but I would just add more dimensions in the photo for better accuracy if someone with longer or thicker hair can actually use it.
