Pretty great results but needs better instructions
Four of the girls have similar no-heat curling rods but have all abandoned them in favor of using leggings for the same effect. It sounds odd, but that seems to be the trend among younger people. My wife was eager to try a heatless hair curler, but since she can’t sleep with anything in her hair due to a sleeping device she uses, she decided to wear it around the house for a few hours instead. She tried it when her hair was nearly dry and felt the instructions could have been clearer. Her hair is just below shoulder length, thick, and has some natural curl. She clipped the rod on top of her head, then, working with one half at a time, wrapped sections of hair around it. She didn’t expect perfect results since she wasn’t sure exactly what she was doing. Instead of scrunchies, she used a clip on each side, moving the top clip to the other side when wrapping. The result wasn’t the neatest, but for a first attempt, it was understandable. A few hours later, she pulled the rod out and revealed a full head of curls—some slightly wonky, but impressive enough that she could have gone out as is.The quality seems fine for her needs. It’s not high-end and could use better instructions, so I deducted a star. Still, she’s happy I got it for her and looks forward to using it again since it’s so convenient.

Creates beautiful curls
This heartless curler set is made of satin and works exactly as described. My daughter has long hair and after showering uses this to wrap her damp hair in. The result the next day is stunning curls that last all day. The wrap stays securely during sleep and she never wakes up with frizzy hair. This is a well made product at a good price point.

The material feels pretty cheap – like the satin-y fabric on the rod and the scrunchies are thin and probably won’t hold up for more than a year of regular use. Not terrible for the price, but I wouldn’t call it great value. My wife can’t sleep with anything in her hair anyway because of this CPAP thing she uses, so she just wore it around the house for a few hours while her hair was almost dry. She said the instructions could’ve been way clearer – they kinda gloss over the tricky parts. Her hair’s shoulder-length-ish, thick with a bit of natural wave already. She clipped the rod up top, split her hair in half, and wrapped sections around it, using clips instead of scrunchies because the scrunchies kept slipping. It wasn’t super neat looking while she was wrapping (she moved the top clip around to the other side halfway through), but when she took it out a few hours later – boom, full head of curls! Some were a little wonky and uneven, but honestly impressive for a first try. She could’ve gone out like that no problem.For me, I tried sleeping with it one night and yeah… not comfy. It pulls at the roots sometimes, and if I leaned back against the headboard it dug in a bit. The big clip that comes with it is actually really nice though – strong enough to hold all my thick hair up without any trouble, and it’s cute that the whole set is pink and matches. Instructions on the box were okay-ish, mostly easy to figure out.I wish you could use it on soaking wet hair to get that crimped look when it dries, but I think it’d ruin the fabric pretty quick.

Salon ready hair the moment you wake up
If you want a hair, that’s like ready to go with the moment you wake up you have to try these heatless curls. It’s a little bit of a learning curve to learn how to do it just right, but I swear once you get the hang of it like how to put the curler in you will wake up to salon red hair, every single time and all without any heat damage

Didn’t work for me
Didn’t work in my thick hair. Also very uncomfortable to sleep in. Could only sleep on my back. Maybe a softer pillow would allow side sleeping. I have a firm pillow.

After one use, one of the elastic in the scrunchies broke. It is No longer usable. Maybe the seller would stand behind its product and send a replacement.

This set isn’t high quality by any means, but it’s a good way to try heatless hair curling
I’ve been meaning to try curling my long, thick hair via heatless hair curling for a long time now, and I finally picked up a set to give it a try. It works, but I’m learning that it’s not super easy and it’s going to take some trial and error. The photos in the listing make this kit seem like higher quality than it actually is; the fabric used for the heatless curler and the scrunchies is very cheap, so I don’t expect any of these products to be very durable or last much beyond a year of use, and I don’t think this was a great value. I like the hair clip a lot, though, as it was able to hold all of my hair up with ease, and it seems well made. It’s cute that everything in this set is pink and matches. The instructions written on the back of the box were (mostly) easy enough to follow, and I was able to affix the curling roller to my hair using the hair clip. But it wasn’t comfortable to wear that all night, as it pulled at my hair, and sometimes it dug into my scalp if I pushed up against the headboard of my bed while sleeping. I wish I could use this product while my hair is wet so it dries crimped, but that would be bad for the fabric on the scrunchies and the curling roller. Well, this product has been a good way for me to try heatless curlers for the first time.
