So much nostalgia
When I was an adolescent, Herbal Essences was THE shampoo. Everyone used it. So the scent of this set really brought back memories.I have very fine, curly hair which I dye. It tends to be a little on the dry side. While I like how lightweight the shampoo and conditioner is, it doesn’t provide much moisture. So it doesn’t weigh my hair down but it strips it a little. For this reason, I will use it as a clarifying shampoo and conditioner once per week instead of all the time.The value of this set is a little less than average. Large bottles but still a little pricey for what used to be one of the cheapest shampoos around.I love the fragrance though, it brings me back to the 90s ♥️

Herbal Essences Shine Collection Chamomile Shampoo and Conditioner Set, 67.6 fl oz, Shines and Smooths Hair, Mineral Oil FreeI gave this Herbal Essences Shine Collection shampoo and conditioner set to my two sons, who are starting to care more and more about their grooming and taking care of themselves. I wasn’t really expecting much feedback from them about shampoo and conditioner, so I was genuinely surprised when they both ranted and raved about how much they liked it. They liked how their hair felt after using it and were impressed enough that they actually went out of their way to tell me about it. The bottles are a generous size, and getting both the shampoo and conditioner together makes this a convenient set that should last them quite a while. If a hair care set can get two of my sons this excited about using it, that’s a pretty strong endorsement in my book. For the amount you get and how much they’ve enjoyed it, I think it’s an excellent value.

Nostalgic scent, modern packaging, solid results
That Herbal Essences fragrance takes me right back to childhood. Some things just don’t change, and I mean that in the best way. The bottles themselves have gotten a modern refresh, though, so it’s a nice mix of familiar and updated.I liked that they lay out each ingredient and what it actually does on the label. That kind of transparency isn’t a given, and I appreciated not having to guess what’s doing the work.These are paraben-free, which is nice, though I do wish they’d gone sulfate-free too. That would’ve made this a more complete win for me.All that said, my hair looks and feels pretty good after using the set. Solid shampoo and conditioner, nostalgic scent, just wish they’d gone further on the sulfate front.

Smells great and does not strip their curls dry
I picked this up for my teenage sons who have 3C and 4B curl patterns and I am happy with how it has worked for them. The chamomile scent is really pleasant without being overwhelming and since they wash their hair at night it is not something that lingers in a way that would bother anyone.The most important thing for curly hair is whether a shampoo strips moisture and this one does not. Their curls come out clean without that dry tight feeling that the wrong shampoo leaves behind. The conditioner follows up nicely and keeps things manageable.For curly hair households where you have different curl types under one roof and need something that works across the board without causing issues for either texture this is a solid everyday option. And it’s an upgrade from them using their body wash to wash their hair!

Smells great… Very large pump bottles
I forgot how much I love the smell of herbal essence shampoo and conditioner! It brought me back 20 years. This used to be my go to brand and it found its way to me again. These bottles are huge. I love that it has pump dispenser nozzles on them so we don’t have to worry about dropping the slippery bottle in the shower. It comes as a full convenient set. It is cruelty free and has its main ingredients clearly listed on the backs of the bottles. While it says it is color safe, I have a my hair dyed a color that is notoriously hard to keep so seeing as it has sulfates I decided to give the set to my husband and son. My husband gets a dry scalp and has very thick stiff and dry hair. This set makes it noticeably softer and shinier and it smells great. Aloe is one of the ingredients and that is my husband‘s preferred way too moisturize so he is very happy with the set. It’s a little pricier than I would have expected, but these large bottles will last us a long time.

Great Value Set for Smooth, Shiny Hair
I’ve been really pleased with this Herbal Essences Chamomile Shampoo and Conditioner set. Getting both the shampoo and conditioner in such large bottles makes this a great value, especially for a large household where these products get used regularly.The chamomile scent is pleasant and fresh without being overwhelmingly strong. The shampoo lathers nicely and leaves my hair feeling clean. The conditioner complements it well and helps leave my hair feeling softer, smoother, and easier to manage after washing.I particularly like how my hair looks and feels after using the two products together. My hair has a nice shine and feels smoother.Another plus is that the formula is mineral oil-free, which is something I appreciate when choosing everyday hair-care products. The large size is also convenient because I don’t have to constantly replace smaller bottles.Overall, this is a nice everyday shampoo and conditioner combination that cleans well, leaves hair soft and shiny, and offers excellent value for the amount you receive. The chamomile fragrance is pleasant, and I would definitely consider purchasing this set again.

“Light” and Kind Shampoo Set
I’m a bit old for baby shampoo, but all those little girly barrettes fit in my hair just fine if that gives you an idea of what my hair is like. So I’m always in search of gentle, kind products that won’t tangle. Herbal Essences Shine Collection Chamomile Shampoo and Conditioner Set is gentle on my old lady/ baby hair, and has a mild neutral botanical scent. The conditioner has a very similar scent but perhaps slightly stronger. Because it’s a large, value sized set I’m going to put some of it into smaller containers and use them that way. I tend to waste less when I have the smaller containers *even though* theoretically yes, you do waste some when you transfer from one container to another. Not to mention, the risk of these heavy bottles falling on my foot in the shower is not zero. Safety first! But a great set – recommended.

Leaves My Hair Clean, Soft and Shiny
I’m really happy with this shampoo and conditioner set. Both have a great scent that leaves my hair smelling fresh without being overwhelming.The shampoo produces a good amount of suds and leaves my hair feeling squeaky clean without that heavy, coated feeling. The conditioner is especially nice for detangling my hair and leaves it feeling velvet soft and noticeably shiny.I also really like the pump bottles. They are easy to use in the shower, especially when your hands are wet and slippery, and you can dispense just the amount you need.Overall, this feels like a quality shampoo and conditioner set at a good value. My hair feels clean, soft and shiny after using it, and I would definitely recommend it.
