Large, defined curls
My teenager scooped this right up to try out and found it works great. She washed her hair and used it afterwards to curl and it left her hair in long, large defined curls. She felt it took too long when using it with very wet hair so our recommendation it to air dry a bit first before use. Saves you the step having to dry your hair before curling and very easy to use.

I like it
I love that I don’t have to wait for my hair to dry to use it. I also thought that it was not as harsh on my hair as traditional curling irons. It is a little bulky, but because the pieces are detachable, I imagine it would be easy to travel with. My hair is recently short (slightly below chin length), and I had no trouble using this tool. Curls held all day and looked fantastic!

This tool is pretty nifty to have but…
I had high hopes for this tool. I bought it at a discounted rate from an Amazon coupon lady Facebook page. I think it’s really cool that it dries and curls the hair at the same time. I was hoping that it would cut down on my time to get ready each morning but I found that it takes a bit more time because I am drying individual strands at a time instead of willy nilly on my whole head. The curls are a bit chaotic but decent and the volume it gives is wonderful. I do go over a few of the curls with my actual curling iron after I’m finished with this tool though. Overall, I like the tool but will only use it when I have the time to.

cool hair tool!
this hair tool is very cool and inexpensive. it is tricky to nail down, as you have to curl your hair when it’s damp and not completely dry. i use the hot setting and then hit the cool with a few seconds of cool air. it gives a nice blowout but it takes practice to learn how to use it and get it right. if you have some patience to practice with it, it is worth a try!

Curling iron doesn’t really work
I already have a hot tools volumizer, which I love. I bought this thinking it would help add bigger curls in the front and on the ends. It did NOT! I got better curl with the 1.5 inch attachment . The hairdryer attachment really doesn’t help either.

Amazing, run don’t walk
I’m a big fan of the hot tools one step dryer brush but my old one died. I tired a couple other dryers with different attachments and none of them were nearly as good for one reason or another. Hot tools has it down! The root attachment is the absolute best! It makes drying my hair so much faster and gives such great volume. The curling attachment is easy and fast to use (after a couple tries if you’re new) and you get these beautiful, shiny, airy, curls that are a perfect blowout look with or without product in your hair! You can go from out of the shower to blowout in 15 min! It’s definitely a winner. (I personally bought the big brush attachment as well which also fits on this tool btw)

Heats up fast and easy to switch attachments
This curling iron has two attachments. At first, it was a bit tricky for me to figure out how to lock it in and then how to release it, but it is fully explained in the instructions. Push down on the lock button and twist slightly to the left to lock, push down on the same button and twist slightly to the right to release. It’s very easy. Additional attachments are sold separately, if you want to add more to this set. The iron heats up fast, and holds a moderate amount of hair in the barrel for curling. The barrel has little holes in it for air flow, which greatly helps to speed up the process. The curls come out voluminous, shiny and bouncy! It includes an attachment for straightening hair that looks like a very wide-toothed comb. It also helps dry hair when it’s just damp. The temperature controls are easy to use. This is a very high quality hair curler and definitely worth the price. It comes in a box that you can use to store everything.
