    Works great even for short beards

    I have several Hummingbird products and once again they put out a great product. It comes in a nice travel case that holds the straigthener and USB C power cord that it comes with. The brush has temperature settings ranging from 200 to 400 degrees and can be adjusted in 50 degree intervals. I recommend you start at a low temperature and increase accordingly to find that right temperature for you. At the moment my beard is around 1/2 inch long. I typically use the brush when I get out of the shower to get my beard looking nice and smooth. The brush takes my fresh cleaned beard from feeling dry and hair being everywhere to soft and nicely styled. I found that 350 degrees work great for me. The brush heats up fairly quickly and a full charge lasts me several styling sessions. As one who doesn’t like to put product in my beard like butters and oils, I find this brush to make it so I don’t have to use that stuff in order to have my beard looking nice. My significant other likes the way the brush makes my beard look and feel. She said it was a game changer for my beard.

    Works amazing

    Absolutely love this product. I can straighten my lengthy goatee in a few minutes with with this product and I only charge it once a week. It is really well built, had helped reduce breakage in my goatee from the occasional morning knot. To date my only critism of this product is that a charging brick is not included with the reduce cable

    Bad battery. Lasts one or two uses after charging.

    Worked well for about a month, now the battery only lasts for one use after charging. Would like to try to exchange for a new one but the window is closed. From my experience though, I’d choose a different item.

    Works For Black Men

    I’m a black man. Does a very good job unkinki g hair. I use the 300 degree setting out of 400. I have medium length beard and used at least 4 times before recharging. Good quality. Good battery life for a heating brush. Comes with nice traveling case. No issues with burning myself. Good value for the money and would recommend.

    Big – but maybe too big? And hot!

    It’s a big, heavy brush and it takes almost all day to charge up from 1 bar…..I usually get ~3 beard combing sessions out of a single charge. I’d leave the brush on charge all the time, but the handle/battery gets hot, so I would feel uncomfortable about leaving it alone while it charges.My beard isn’t very bushy, but it’s long. IMO this beard brush is better for bushy beards, so with my thin beard, the teeth are too long, but it gets the job done. 4 stars because it takes too long to charge and the handle/battery gets hot.

    Not great for shorter beards.

    For context, i keep my beard short to my face, except the bit off my chin which hangs out to 1-3″ off my chin.The bristles are large and wide and don’t seem to be good for short hair. For the longer aspect of my beard, it still didn’t seem to catch all that well, and resulted in subpar straightening.The item itself is bulky. Now, i maybe i just have tiny, little, Trump hands, but i’m a bigger dude, and it was a bit cumbersome to hold and manipulate in my hand.You can feel the handle warming up as you use it.Battery life wasn’t great. Maybe it’s because i had to use multiple passes to try and straighten my beard, but a use took out a third of the battery life (per the meter on the item, itself).There’s a big red light that runs the length of the comb facing…well…your face, and it’s quite blinding, if you accidentally look into it.
