Sehr zu empfehlen! Super Halt für dickes Haar
Habe das erste dieser Haarbänder von einer Freundin geschenkt bekommen. Als ich sie nachkaufen wollte, habe ich erstmal die Standard Variante der Invisibobbles genommen – ohne zu wissen, dass es eine Power-Variante Gibt. Diese ist zwar gut für einen Pferdeschwanz, versagt aber bei einem hohen Dutt, sobald man schwereres, dickes Haar hat. Daher habe ich mich dann weiter erkundigt und die Power-Variante gefunden. Als die Bestellung ankam, stelle ich gleich fest, dass es die selben sind, die ich auch von meiner Freundin bekommen habe. Diese halten alles aus. Einen Pferdeschwanz, einen Dutt, etc. Frisur einmal morgens gemacht, hält sie den ganzen Tag. Auch beim Joggen/Sport bester Halt und gar keine Probleme. Tatsächlich hat man am Frisuransatz keine Schmerzen vom abgewinkelten Haar, hätte ich ja selbst nicht geglaubt!Manko & Tipp: Die Haargummis verdrehen sich durch die Spiralform nach der Benutzung in eine 8. Wennn man das Haargummi gleich weiter verwendet, ist das nicht störend, aber nach einer Zeit stellt man fest, dass sie dadurch an Spannung verlieren. Die Haargummis dann einfach in eine Schale geben und heißes Wasser aus dem Wasserkocher drüber leeren (ich warte immer ein paar Minuten, nachdem es aufgekocht ist) und dann ziehen sie sich wieder in Originalzustand zusammen :)Zusammenfassend: Für normales Haar reichen die Standard meiner Meinung nach aus, auch beim Sport. Die Power Variante ist für festes, dickes Haar geeignet und bestens für einen Dutt – für filigranere Frisuren natürlich ungeeignet, aber dafür gibt es ja dann auch noch die Nano-Variante.

Not as spectacular as I expected but still pretty great!
I take showers at night and put my hair up to sleep while wet as I do not blow dry my hair. These are fantastic at following through with the “no crease” promise but I can’t necessarily say that they hold better than an ordinary hair tie, even with being the super strong hold. Despite that, I’m still sold for it holding my hair up while I sleep without leaving creases in my hair. Another selling point is they do not cause split/damaged ends and ripped hair the way a typical ponytail would if it got stuck and you sit there trying to untangle and end up ripping it out. Also, I tend to wrap the hair tie around my pony 3 times and when I take it out, the plastic material is really stretched out and hasn’t really gone back to original shape like other reviewers have mentioned it does after a few days. It does however shrink back to some degree and this is good enough for me. Lastly, I wish there were more in a pack for the money but oh well. All in all I am impressed despite the minor downfalls and would definitely purchase this product again. Thanks!

Got thick hair? This ones for you!
I love this product because I have THICK and heavy hair! In which I literally have to use a pillow just to hold up my hair while I sleep to avoid a headache. I purchased this because I was constantly having to pull my hair up over and over again because it wouldn’t stay in a normal hair band. Or I was in pain because it would pull my hairs, giving me a headache. While this doesn’t keep my hair up all day, it doesn’t cause me any discomfort which is a huge plus for me! And because they’re isn’t an harsh seams in the hair band I feel as though it doesn’t cause and damage to my hair! Another plus!! Recommend to thick haired girls!Update: changed from four to three stars because the band has seemed to stretch out and now doesn’t hold my hair up for very long at all. And now I only use it at night time.

Wow- I am really impressed by these hair bands! I have long hair (nearly to my waist). My hair texture is straight and fine, but I have A LOT of hair. I was most concerned with these getting stuck in my hair, since my hair is so fine. My hair gets stuck in a lot of hair products. I had been using the “seamless” elastic hair bands for YEARS. And I have 100s of them. Yet, I always lose them somehow- and they always leave a “dent” in my hair. When I saw the ad for the invisibobble, I was intrigued that it claims not to leave a visible dent in your hair. That was enough to sell me and shell out the >$8 for just 3 hair bands. I’ve been using the invisibobble Power bands for just over a month and I am hooked. They do not pull my hair, snag my hair, or come loose. They are strong enough to hold my long hair back in a ponytail without any slipping. There is a little bit of a technique to removing them, though. You can’t just pull them straight off while they’re wrapped around your ponytail. You have to unwrap them one loop at a time. This prevents pulling and any associated breakage (technically, that’s the same way you should remove a regular elastic hair band, but who really does that anyway??) Now, that said, I will say that these bands are not for everyone. I was so thrilled with my invisibobble that I showed it off to my cousins over Thanksgiving. When I asked my younger cousin to show me how to do a “messy bun” she showed me on her hair using my invisibobble. Somehow, she got the invisibobble stuck in her hair and immediately determined she did not like the invisibobble at all. For reference, she’s 19 years old with shoulder length fine hair. SO- while they may not be for everyone, they are definitely worth a try if you’re looking for a comfortable hair band that does not give you a headache to wear and does not leave a dent in your hair.

BEST hair ties I’ve ever used!
I’ve been using Invisibobble hair ties exclusively for the past 1.5 years. After a 1.5 years, I lost all of my original 3 I purchased and it was time to buy new ones. I decided to try the extra strong grip Invisibobble instead of their original and WOW! I thought the original hair ties were good, but these are awesome! For context, I have really long (mid-waist/belly button length) pretty thick hair. When I would work out, my hair would still slip a bit with the original Invisibobble hair ties, but they worked better than any other hair tie I had ever tried so I assumed that was par for the course given my hair length & thickness. With these extra strong hair ties, my hair doesn’t slip and it’s so secure (even while running/box jumps/burpees/etc.). I can’t recommend these enough if you have a TON of hair.The one downside is because they are so strong & structured is it can feel really tight on my wrist (where I wear mine at all times when it’s not in my hair). I’m overall pretty petite (5’2″ & 100 pounds) and the hair tie leaves marks/imprints on my wrist from being tight. It has improved slightly the more I use the hair tie, but since they are designed to not stretch out, I don’t suspect it will improve too much. It hasn’t been a major issue for me, but it is something to be aware of when purchasing.

Don’t buy an imitation!
I’m really loving these! I’d previously bought an off brand version of these, and they were horrible. We got 8 of them, and they all either broke after 1 or 2 uses, or stretched out and became unusable (yes, I tried the hot water trick with them). I also found that the knock offs were really loose, and some colors were worse than others, which was odd. So I decided to try these ones, even though they were more expensive, and I’m so glad I did! They are working great! I’m actually still on first one I used because after several weeks it’s holding up great! I’d definitely recommend buying these! They are worth the extra money per band, because they actually work. Buying the knock off brands will end up wasting your money in the long run.Btw, I have very thick, wavy/lightly curly hair that’s halfway down my back. And these hold it up well in a high or low ponytail and it doesnt really slip like traditional hair bands. It does still leave a bit of a crease on my hair after wearing it up for awhile, but it’s nowhere near as bad as the elastic bands.

I cannot & will not live without InvisiBobble! If you’re considering buying these for curly hair, I cannot recommend them enough. I wish someone had told me about these sooner!I have long, curly hair (3a), and these weird plastic hair ties keep my curl pattern intact between wash days, workouts, sleep, yard work, etc SO MUCH BETTER than a scrunchie or a traditional fabric-covered hair elastic.I always sleep with my hair in a loose bun to prevent it from getting frizzy, tangled, & losing curl definition. When using a regular elastic hair tie, it is impossible to make a tight enough bun that stays all night without crushing my curls. The hair between my scalp and the ponytail gets stretched and looses root volume, while the hair in the bun falls out and gets fuzzy anyway. Working out with a regular hair elastic is a million times worse, because the elastic bounces down, pulling my hair flat & straight on the way out. So many bad hair days due to bad hair ties!InvisiBobble, in stark contrast, is somehow tight enough to hold a bun all night & a ponytail for an entire workout, without slipping or pulling or being too tight on any one section of hair. Wherever you put it, that’s where it will be whenever you get back to it. I’ve literally gone to bed with a bun, woke up & liked it, worn that same bun to work all day, and still had perfect curls when I took it out like 20 hours later. No pony dent, no flattening. I love these.I’ve purchased the “slim” type twice previously, and I expect a 3-pack to last about 6 months before breaking or disappearing. Not bad. They’re not indestructable, but note that I also use them every single day for like 10+ hours a day between sleeping and ponytails around the house. So they’re much more durable than traditional ties. I’m interested to see how the durability on these “power” ties compares & will update if it’s any different.

Holds all day
I keep my think long hair in a bun all day with these and never get a headache like I did before. They do stretch out a bit overtime but a bit of hot water makes them almost new again. The last forever… I’ve had my same 3 for over a year and use them daily with no signs of wear.

These are strong and really hold your hair up. The best invention for hair ties. They do not pull your hair at all and come out so easily without damaging hair but the hold is amazing. You forget you have them in your hair they are so painless and never pull your hair.

These POWER INVISIBOBBLEs are much thicker than the original and hold my hair better.I had an undercut and I used the original to put my hair up. Those worked well because I only had the top part of my hair to deal with, but when I started growing out the shaved underside the original wouldn’t hold the shorter pieces of hair and they would slip our or get pinched in the coils, so I moved on to other ties and clips.In CVS I ran across the POWER INVISIBOBBLE and decided to give it a try. Much BETTER! Not only is the circumference of larger but the actual coil is thicker. This holds all my hair in a bun without pinching or loosening while I’m on the move. I posted a pic of the original vs the power and you can see the difference.I came on Amazon to buy more to keep on hand.Also, the people who are complaining that the power inivisibobble stretched out and are now useless don’t have any experience with this item. It’s not on the packaging but if you go to their website it explains why the coil stretches and how to get it back to the original state: you place it in a cup of hot (not boiling) water (easiest). I’ve done it and it works every time.I’ve got the clear and the black ones and I love them!
