    Great blades for the price

    These Jack The Barber safety razor blades get the job done, but they’re not quite premium quality.Shave-wise, they’re solid for the first couple uses—sharp enough to give a clean, close shave without needing too many passes. They work fine in my safety razor handle and fit as expected, with no issues on compatibility.The main downside for me is that they feel a bit flimsy compared to higher-end blades. They don’t have that same sturdy, durable feel when you’re loading them, and I found they dulled a little quicker than I would like, especially if you’re shaving daily or have thicker growth.That said, for the price, they’re still a decent value option if you’re not looking for something ultra premium. They’ll absolutely get the job done, just don’t expect the longevity or refinement of more expensive blades. I’d call them a good budget pick with some trade-offs.

    Excellent razors

    I have been using safety razors for a while now, and these are easily some of the best blades I have come across. They look great and come neatly presented, with each one individually wrapped so you know they are clean and fresh. The ease of use is perfect because they slip right into the handle with zero fuss and align perfectly every time. Performance-wise, they are incredibly sharp right out of the wrapper, and they glide across my skin without any pulling or tugging at all. I get a super close, smooth shave every single time, and I haven’t had any issues with irritation or razor burn. Each blade lasts for quite a few shaves before needing to be swapped out, which is awesome. The value for the money here is fantastic because a pack of twelve will easily last me months, and the quality is way better than the expensive multi-blade cartridges.

    Pretty sharp and works pretty well

    I think that the double edge blades are really nice. They are a little bit expensive for what you get though. You get about 11 blades for about at least 12 dollars. In addition you don’t get the actual handle though. I do however like the blades though. They feel pretty sharp and don’t irritate my skin.I can’t really rate the grip on them since I don’t have a handle that I can use with them unless you purchase a grip or handle for them. If they came with a grip then I think that would help out more and make it feel like your getting more for your money. They are pretty durable and are have some durability though and seem like they work pretty well though.

    Better choices out there.

    I bought Jack the Barber razor and blades same time, razor works great, but their blades and not nearly as good as the others I tried, Astra and the Feather blades, which cut great, the Astra blades are a great price and seem to cut well but these blades did not perform well at all. They weren’t comfortable, or smooth, cant say about durability as I switched to the Astra blades.

    Sharp double edged safety razor blades are a good price

    I am not using these double edged razor blades by Jack the Barber in the traditional way.I am a seamstress and one of my very favorite tools is a good razor blade to use in ripping seams. I have a small blade holder that I insert one side of these Jack the Barber blades in, and they’ve been working great as I need to rip a seam or stitching. I’ve found them to be really sharp and I especially like that they come wrapped in what looks like a tiny little envelope!I also like that they feel a bit flexible which makes it easier to manipulate my tool. They arrive in a package of 12 blades. Compared to other blades I’ve used, I think they are priced well.I’ll need to purchase a double edge safety razor so I can share how they work as intended.

    Smooth Shave and Zero Tugging, but a Bit Pricey per Blade

    I’ve been shaving with a safety razor for over a decade now. I have a very tough beard with sensitive skin and I typically wait two or three days between shaves. I’m very particular about the safety razor blades I use but was excited to give these a try.I tested these blades in my Rockwell 6S, using setting 4 for the initial pass to take down the bulk, and switching to setting 2 for the across and against the grain passes. The blades were impressively sharp. Even with days of heavy growth, I didn’t experience any uncomfortable tugging or pulling and little to no irritation when using an alum block on my face after the shave.I managed to get four solid 3 pass shaves out of a single blade before noticing a drop in performance. For my coarse beard type, that is a very good lifespan.The quality control is good on these blades. They fit perfectly into my razor head and aligned completely straight and symmetrical when I tightened the handle down.The only real drawback to this pack is the value. At roughly 67 cents per blade, they are cheaper than cartridge razor blades, however, these are sitting on the high end of what you should typically spend on double-edge razors. Most reputable brands have 100 pack blades that cost half that amount per blade and many options are even cheaper while delivering a comparable shave.Overall, I am very pleased with the performance of these blades and will include them in my blade rotation. Despite this, I can’t say that I will purchase these in the future. There are just too many other options out there that perform just as well at a lower price point.

    SOLID BLADES FOR A SMOOTH SHAVE AT A GOOD PRICE

    I have been using double edge safety razors for about two years now after switching from cartridge razors to get a closer shave and save money long term. These Jack The Barber blades came in a pack of 12 and I have been putting them through daily use for a couple of weeks.They fit perfectly in my standard safety razor and the performance delivers a close comfortable shave without too much tugging even on a couple days growth. The stainless steel seems sharp out of the box and holds up well for multiple shaves per blade which is what I look for. I have sensitive skin so I appreciate that they do not cause as much irritation as some of the cheaper no name blades I tried before.I have seen they perform similarly to popular brands but at a more affordable price point. Not quite as premium feeling as my favorite high end ones but definitely better than average for everyday grooming.The pack size is convenient and I like knowing I have backups ready. Overall these have become my go to blades for consistent results.

    Great razor blades, perfect for sensitive skin, offers close shave!

    I have used Jack the Barber razors and blades before, (I already own and regularly use both their older style and newer style razors), so I was super excited to try this new 12 pack razor blades because I really needed more blades…(and yes, I have been so busy with life, I had forgotten to order more, so thank you Amazon for reminding me to so this, LOL!)So I found this multi-pack of blades, and love that it comes in a 12 pack, because that means I won’t need to order more for a long time (Yay, more time for me to remember to order next time, hahaha…Sweet!!!)So what you get…you get are 12 individually “wrapped for your protection” razors. (Each one is safely packaged in mini envelopes, that are easy to open when ready to use.) These mini envelopes can also be saved so you can safely dispose of blades when needed. Nice!Each blade very practically has the Jack the Barber name imprinted on each actual blade, which is helpful in ensuring that as you install each blade, you can be assured each blade will be installed correctly. (I wish all blades had this feature.)I have to say after trying these out in both the older and newer Jack the Barber razor styles, these blades worked equally well in both. (They provide a really close single-bladed shave and they don’t really irritate my super sensitive skin.)I really like the quality, design, and overall shave experience with these blades, and know you will love these too, especially if you want a simple, straightforward shaving experience!
