    OVERPRICED! STICKY! YUCK!

    RE: Josh Rosebrook Hair Spray Firm Hold Hair SprayThe bottle is small which makes it easy to hold in the hand while pressing down on the spray.However, the stem where the spray comes out is delicate and easily broken. My bottle was just tossed in an Amazon box. No outer packaging, no bubble wrap and consequently damaged and leaking. Thank Amazon for easy replacements.Here I am almost 2 years later editing this review. I rarely used this hairspray. I hated it and it certainly was NOT WORTH the price paid.It created a hard sticky mess on my hair. Can’t brush or comb through it without it looking like stiff straw, taking the style and bounce right out! I will not purchase again. Because of the hard sticky residue, it forced me to wash my hair again to just get it out.I went back to my Shaper+ aerosol hairspray which I’ve been using since the 1980s and it’s still the best one out there.

    Great product

    This is amazing. I was looking for something that wouldn’t be so strong. Kenra hairspray was bothering my lungs and affecting my breathing. I feel like I found the right product for me with Josh Rosebrook hairspray. It has a strong hold and a light smell. I have had no problems with my breathing. It would be nice if it was a little larger, but I don’t find myself using as much of this as I did other hairsprays. It holds all day.

    Good Hold, Nice Scent, Less Toxic Than Traditional Hairspray

    Really good hold for a more “natural” and safe hairspray option. Didn’t realize the bottle is a bit on the smaller size for the price, but that aside, I am really liking both the subtle scent and the hold of this hairspray. I tried it for the first time as I’m seeking safer/less toxic options to most of the traditional hairsprays and beauty products on the market. I recommend giving this a try if you’re interested in exploring more natural alternatives!

    A blessing!!!!

    As a busy hair and makeup artist, I now cannot work without this product!! For years I used hairsprays with toxic chemicals and now I finally have an all natural hairspray that not only works well but I have no fear breathing in. This has changed the way I work because I feel confident that my products will not be negatively affecting my health long term. Besides it being all natural and organic, it’s smells devine!     Worth a try but not 100% sure

    Ok but the spray mechanism doesn’t work very well and the spray flakes after it dries when you touch your hair. Smelt a lot nicer than conventional hairspray but not sure I’m a convert yet.

    Really lovely to use. Don’t feel like I have to hold my breath after i’ve used it. Nice medium hold. Nice light scent. Adore Josh Rosebrook products.

    Gave me multiple migraines

    Holds hair well, but it gave me 3 migraines in one day the first time I used it. Gave it to my mom because she uses the same brand and has never had issues. Makes me wonder what is in it even if it claims to be “all natural” that caused my migraines. I have had migraines from other sprays/perfumes before, but thought since this is all natural it wouldn’t be an issue. Never had 3 migraines in one day before either. Hope no one else has this issue.

    I gave it 5 star because I haven’t found anything better.The review:Negative: Makes the hair heavy when you spray it on it as I think the nozzle sprays are too large molecules. Which means your hair will likely get flat. (Mine does.) Also, holds but not strong enough.Positive: It’s one of the ones that are better for the hair as it dries it less.

    So disappointed with this hair spray because I was super excited that a clean living blogger who used to be a hair stylist said it was great for holding and not flaking or being sticky. It is definitely a clean product with no chemical scent.The issue is that I straighten my wavy hair and bangs, and this product sprays out very moist and watery, I agree with the one-star reviewer who said it takes the style and bounce right out. My straightened hair starts trying wave when I use even a little bit of this product, and when I wear my hair fuller, it deflates it. I tried it on my mom, she has short hair and uses mousse to pump up the volume, this product deflates the volume.I was really surprised by how many reviewers said it has great hold. When I used what I considered a normal amount of spray, I got no hold. When I used more spray, trying to get some hold, it took forever to dry, then was very sticky and made my hair look oily.As I say in the title, if you have stick straight hair, this would possibly work for you. If you have naturally wavy or curly hair and are wearing it that way, it would very likely work for you.It reminds me more of a making setting spray than a hairspray.Still searching for the holy grail of clean hairsprays!
